I got the #Mole Poblano this time. They still use the weird looking gray boiled chicken, but it’s covered with excellent #mole sauce. So it’s okay. I don’t see it. It seems like all these Mexican places in the neighborhood has gray boiled chicken. Anyway, I like this dish a lot. Sometimes they have #beer. I don’t understand why it’s sometimes.

If I could give this place no stars I would! Anyways I came here to get breakfast for my nephew and I! I got rice beans & eggs. when I got home I realized the rice was burned & old, the beans stank and the eggs wasn’t even well cooked! I guess they didn’t have any rice and just to not lose money they decided to scrub some rice out of last night’s pot and reheated, & I’m 100% sure they forgot to put the beans away last night and they didn’t give a shit, they still reheated and sold it to me! I was so upset I went back and try to explain to the lady my issue and she tells me to come back when the owner isn’t busy!!! She was rude and nasty! I always come here for Mexican products, this was my first time trying their food and now I rather walk down farther then even step a foot in their! What surprises me more is that they still open!!! This place is nasty, it doesn’t look clean and there’s always drunks!

There huevos rancheros are amazingly delicious! Also you can tell the food is made with love because of the ladies cooking. The waitress are nice but some of them need to cover up. I literally saw one of them wearing a beach hole shirt and her bra showing(not cute or presentable) Recommend but not for a date. The ambience can be divey.

I went here with my sister on a Saturday at around 7 pm. I hate to say this because I wanted to like this place so much but the ambience was far from relaxed. This was odd because the place was practically empty apart from a couple of fellas hanging out I guess. Uh well one of those fellas was pretty much a creep who was preying on my sister and because of him we couldn’t relax and try, our hardest, to like our burritos. Yes, we ordered burritos I had the carne asada burrito and my sister had the carne enchilada burrito, both were not good. I joked to my sister that the best part of my burrito was the sour cream, sadly i was telling the truth. Our waiter was really nice but apart from that I can’t say that I would ever go back here, forgive me. :’(

very friendly staff. i ordered the chicken soup, and it was really delicious and way more filling than expected(it had two pieces of chicken, carrots, potatoes, and corn on the cob in it. it came with tortillas.)

The burritos here are the best. You really get your money’s worth! I’ve always ordered here from grub hub and the burritos are so good and worth the money! Just the other day I actually went to the restaurant to order. When I walked in I guess they were surprised that I’m not their usual customer however they were so friendly!!! They had smiles and asked if I needed help to order. The girl who took my order was sweet as well. I ordered the usual steak burrito and the grilled chicken plater. I also ordered their mango shake and strawberry banana shake. When I get sick in the winter I order their chicken soup which makes me feel better everytime!

Good Mexican food is ironically hard to find in this neighborhood that has, sometimes, a number of Mexican restaurants in a block. Plenty of places are kind of good and worth revisiting, but few, I would say are legitimately tasty. This is one of those places. The first time, we had tacos in the restaurant. I had a goat, veggie, and chorizo taco, all of which were moist and tasty. The second time, I had a torta with lengua, which was probably the best lengua torta I’ve had. Here they actually press the tortas and fill them with diverse ingredients. Other places just lazily hand you dry bread. The service is bad, but the person at the grill doesn’t really speak English, so you got to wait for the waitress. They also have ice pops, plenty of chips, and a bunch of Mexican seasoning if that is what you are trying to get. I will be back.

This review is for the popsicles you can get at this tiny restaurant. The coconut and the strawberry are my favorite, but they also have rice pudding, pistachio, mamey, mango, and many more rotating flavors. The flavors are so rich and fresh… one of the best paletas around! You don’t have to sit down and order if you’re just there for the paletas… just grab them out of the freezer case and pay at the counter in the back!

This place is convenient and cheap, and serves up a nice selection of better-than-average tacos. I get takeout from here at least once a week and I find myself settling for them to satisfy my taco-fix, rather than walk the extra .5 mile to Los Hermanos. It is a great alternative to Los Hermanos(my other preferred taco place), if you just want your basic selections of Mexican dishes without the huge crowd. I’d recommend everything but the chicken(the chicken tacos that I’ve tried on several occassions were a bit bland.) And yeah, even though they serve pizza here, it’s predictably not very good; you’re better off going up the block to Sal’s for that. They have ample seating and a grocery section, however, I always go the takeout route due to the fact that music that I don’t enjoy listening to is always blaring at an offensively high-volume here(mostly on weekends.)

The food doesn’t come close to making up for the sullen and glacial service. Cecina taco was pretty good. As for the cemita, while the pork was on the rubbery side, the other fillings were first-rate. The usual highlights like cheese and peppers were present, but there was also a large amount of spicy, compelling red sauce. But I won’t return. They weren’t happy to see me and getting water or the check was sort of Waiting For Godot-meets-Dr. Katz.
