Love Frites and Meats! This place is a much needed addition to the neighborhood. Those French fries are enough to come back for. I ordered from here through seamless the first time then I went with my boyfriend the day after because it was so good. The checklist menu is fun to do. The waitress was so nice and very informative. It was just a little too empty, but hey it’s new.

I get my burger via Seamless as I’m too lazy to go in and devour one. I’ve become slightly obsessed with this place, I’ve perfected my order now to my perfect burger. My only complaint is how rare the meat comes! I always get medium rare wherever I go and whatever I order. But it’s definitely too rare for me to eat and I sadly couldn’t eat more than 3 bites of my last double patty burger. Honestly though I still rated that burger a solid 4.5÷5. 3 kinds of cheese is the way to go! One party is sufficient, they’re so juicy and fat you don’t even need more. Always arrives hot and fresh and the sweet potato fries are killer. Couldn’t recommend more! Just get the meat cooked slightly more than medium rare.

Super solid burger. The burger wasn’t dry, and was cooked well. They don’t skimp on toppings, and the fries are great. My friend had the steak fries, I had Belgian, and our third buddy had onion rings, all were delicious. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Stopped here this past weekend after craving a classic burger and fries. You get a menu where you can make your own custom burger with toppings. Our server was very sweet and attentive during the meal experience. Here is what I went with: Custom burger by ingredients: Grass Fed Angus Beef —-Overall giving this place 3 stars really because of the beef patty; all of the toppings and sides were great but that doesn’t make a great burger. The patty was essentially tasteless with little to no flavor whatsoever. Unfortunately the bun and toppings were all delicious, but it didn’t make up for the flavorless patty. Potato-Onion Bun Goat Cheese Toppings: raw onion, applewood smoked bacon, oven roasted tomato —-The oven roasted tomatoes were absolutely delicious — great add on for a topping! Side: Sweet potato fries w/chipotle mayo + garlic aioli – Fries and side dip sauces were delicious

I wandered over to my colleague and fellow member of our intramural cornhole league. «I left my wallet at that place where we had burgers last night,» I said. It turned out his girlfriend had left her credit card behind the bar as well. And another member of our team did the same. I sheepishly called Frites n Meats up. The waitresses who answered was the same person who served us the night before. «My boss was wondering what happened,» she said. «He asked me what I did to you guys.» I wish I could say it was the free shots, but some of us who left plastic in the bar avoided that hangover accelerant. I think it must have been the general atmosphere, which was funny and welcoming. It was a cold Tuesday night, Fat Tuesday to be specific, so either the crowd was at home or at bigger parties. Even though it was quiet we felt welcome as we watched the New Hampshire returns roll in on a giant screen. I’ve never been to the Frites’n’Meats cart, so I didn’t really have expectations as I assembled a burger of BBQ sauce, a bit of bacon and raw onions. The Belgian-style fries — with complimentary sauce — were massively sized and perfectly crisp. Everything is ordered by pencil, which I always like because it ensures no mistakes in the ordering process. Food came quickly, so did the drinks. And soon it was on to those free shots. No wonder we left everything behind — we were looking for a reason to return.

Place looks like it just opened. Honestly, i was sold once I saw guacamole as an option for my burger toppings. The sweet potato fries and onion rings were fresh. They don’t seem to have much of a selection of nonalcoholic beverages(carbonated drink or water anyone?). But the people working there seem genuine. It was only my first time there. Honestly, I was looking for a good burger spot and found it on Unilocal.Seating arrangements? Tables are somewhat small, kinda cold there while I was eating but otherwise, I look forward to returning. It’s definitely worth a try if you’re skeptical.

Quite possibly the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant in my lifetime. My husband and I had heard a lot about the Frites ‘n’ Meats truck and since this place opened in our hood we had to check it out. We head there @ 7pm on Sunday. It’s empty, two people at the bar and a couple sitting at a table. The bartender comes around the bar towards us, holding up a knife to a dude in a Jets hoodie and chasing him from behind the bar. I stopped in my tracks when she noticed me and laughed awkwardly saying«it’s ok, he’s my boss» …um, what? She seemed nice and was clearly joking, so we brushed it off. She told us we can sit anywhere we like, and apologizes since most of the tables are dirty — they«just got slammed». I tell her it’s fine and we take a seat at a clean table. She comes over to ask what we’d like to drink. We order beers and when she brings them says that«they’re a little flat because they just tapped the keg»(um, not a thing) and to let her know if we wanted different ones. They weren’t super carbonated but fine, so we didn’t complain. She comes back to take our order, was friendly and helpful when I asked for suggestions(I had no idea what ‘jazzy sauce’ was and she suggested that it did not go with my choice of caramelized onions and gruyère). We ordered by checking off the choices on their ‘menus’(pieces of paper with meat, cheese, and topping options listed) and hand them to her. Now we wait. Here’s where it gets bad. At some point they cranked the volume of some weird classic rock station, so loud that my hubs and I could barely hear each other. And we’re not lame, it was ridiculous — even more so that they didn’t lower the volume during the commercials. Strange considering at that point it was us, the 4 people initially mentioned, and only two other tables of 2⁄3 people in the entire place. The table of two sat down next to us at a dirty table(yep, they’re all still dirty) and it took her a solid 5 minutes to actually clean it. Finally our food is ready. Of course it took them 3 rings to hear the kitchen bell due to the music volume. The bartender didn’t even go get the food herself, one of the two guys at the bar she was chatting with the entire time(rather than clean up the still dirty tables) went back into the kitchen to get our food. Does he even work there? He brings them out and they are both wrong. Mine was missing cheese(I ordered caramelized onions and gruyère, literally two items!) and my husbands was missing bacon. We tell him what’s missing, he brings them back to the kitchen, and retreats to the bar. Another 5 minutes goes by where we assume they are fixing our burgers, and the bartender goes into the kitchen and gets us the SAMEEXACTBURGERS the guy brought us the first time. Seriously? I tell her no, these are wrong, and we told the guy why they were wrong and he clearly did not fix them. She asks me what’s wrong and I tell her exactly what I said to the first dude, mine gets cheese and his bacon, simple! Back to the kitchen they go, leaving us with the fries we ordered to share. The fries? Cold. Not surprising considering they sat in the kitchen for 10+ minutes while they DIDN’T fix our burgers. She comes back after another 5 minutes with our burgers. This time, my burger has bacon on it(still no cheese) and my husbands unchanged. Am I being pranked?! I tell her no, they’re STILLWRONG. She looks at me confused and says«ok please tell me what is wrong with these again» Are you joking?! I CHECKEDITOFFON A PIECEOFPAPERANDHANDEDITTOYOU! Go look at the paper if you can’t remember simple instructions! She can clearly see my frustration and has the nerve to ask me if I’ve ever worked in the restaurant business. Actually, yes, I was a waitress and bartender for 10 years. Using that excuse is actually extremely insulting when you are either too incompetent to enter orders into a computer that I literally wrote down and handed to you, or just plain don’t care. The restaurant wasn’t busy, the tables still dirty, what are you even doing that you can’t get two burgers right?! She apologizes and said the bacon is her fault, but the kitchen is «slammed with 60 to-go orders» so she hopes I understand. What? No. I don’t. The kitchen has nothing to do with you messing up our order 3 times, or generally being terrible at your job; and I didn’t see a single order go out the entire time. She asks if we want free shots or to go boxes. So I get booze instead of dinner or I can wrap up the now ice cold burgers that we DIDN’T order? PASS. We’re done. We’re going somewhere else. I get up to put my coat on and she comes back with a bill and a credit card asking if it was mine. Seriously?! I never gave her a card, did she really run our bill on someone else’s? Does she really expect us to pay for food we didn’t order? Again, AM I BEINGPRANKED?! We went down the street to Burnside and had delicious Juicy Lucy’s. I suggest you do the same. I bet the tables are still dirty.

Went here with the family and we had a wonderful time. The staff members were super awesome, Alex you rock. The set up is simple, menu with check boxes, so you can select what you want, with many options to choose from allowing you to get creative. Here is what sealed the 5 stars for us… the burgers… juiceeeeeeey…right amount of chard for that hard to get grilled flavor… and just the way you ordered it. One of the best burgers you will have period with the price to match. We had the Wagyu burger and my wife just came over to me to ask if we can go again today… yes.

Fun fact about me: I never ate a burger until I was 17. I know that sounds crazy but it wasn’t something I grew up eating but I’ve made it up since then by eating loads of burgers and Frites N’ Meats has got them down! I ordered the special burger of the week which was Wagyu burger with roasted poblano chiles. I also got a fizzy grapefruit drink along with it. The waitress forgot to tell me that the special had bacon on it. No problem at all because it’s BACON. The burger was juicy, moist, and had such a burning spice(and I don’t like crazy spicy) from the poblanos which I somehow enjoyed alot because that burger was gone in a few minutes. The grapefruit fizzy drink was really refreshing too. The atmosphere is pub-like but inviting. Dark woods and all that good stuff. You can’t go wrong with the burgers here because they take care of each ingredient that goes into a burger from bread to what’s between the buns. Happy eating and remember: Don’t deny, satisfy!

Came in for a burger and got exactly what I wanted. They give you a check off list for what you want including the burger, sides and drinks. Their drink selection includes cocktails, 6 – 7 beers on tap, canned and bottled beer, wine, gin, whiskey, vodka and soft drinks. Their burgers and sweet potatoes were really good. I believe the owner was was working taking orders and bar tending, she was really friendly and attentive. Great spot, I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a good burger spot.

It’s Friday night and I decide to treat myself to a splurge burger, because why not. And I’m not much of a fries person, but it’s the weekend! So I order takeout(through Unilocal — which I didn’t know was a thing) and picked up my order. It was only through sheer willpower that I was able to not eat all the fries before I made it home. I don’t(and don’t want to) know how many times they must have fried the fries because they were perfectly crisp on the outside and almost… fluffy on the inside. I got the garlic aoli for my fries. I’m a fan of that fresh garlic zing from a good aoli. The garlic guacamole was creamy and not the best spread I had, but I still enjoyed it on my burger. Can you tell I like garlic? The meat was on point and cooked perfectly. I only wish I was able to eat the burger in the restaurant because the brioche bun was soggy by the time I made it home. I’m excited to go back and try all the other spreads

I’ve only been here once. I ordered a burger and Belgium fries to go. The fries were delicious. But my burger was cold when got home and I only live a few blocks away. The fries were really hot so I suspect they cooked the burger first and then waited for the fries to be ready Eating the burger cold was disturbing bc the cheese also was not melted at all. I was actually worries it was raw.

Great burgers and fries, just as good as from the truck! I’ve been eating at their food truck for years and they finally took it to the next level. Awesome décor and friendly staff.

This little restaurant is determined to succeed. It is almost(okay, actually) overwhelming how much effort they put into ensuring your satisfaction — but then again there aren’t many burger joints you’ll walk out of feeling like a king. Most importantly, the burgers are amazing. And the fries are fantastic. The only thing I’d steer you away from is the onion rings, which are entirely generic and feel out of place. Sad to say, the half-block from Union Avenue will cut the crowds in half. But you’re smarter than that, so head over and enjoy.

Amazing fries with tons of sauces to choose from. Build your own burger. Bartenders provide great service. Good food at reasonable prices, can’t go wrong. The ketchup chipotle and chipotle mayo are my personal favorites. 8 beers on tap, blue point toasted lager and six point sweet action are my go to beers. Plenty of liquor on hand, well stocked bar to go along with the frites and meats.
