The food used to be great here, but now it’s disappointing and kind of hazardous to health. Why? For health hazard, they stapled just to keep the food from falling out, maybe. But as soon as I opened it and start eating it, I found a piece of metal inside the noodles. It was a piece of staple. Oh my god… that is horrendous! People can actually choke and die if they ate it… For the food, the noodles and rice are insipid-taste, meaning they tasted bland. No sauce or anything were given. They were completely tasteless. And the person collecting cash behind the counter is a bit rude, taking someone’s order who were behind me first then delayed me once more. Overall, 2.1 stars out of 5. I’m disappointed.

We order take out food from this restaurant on every weekend. Dishes are super delicious and ingredient are very fresh. Even thought, there are many take out restaurants on the same street, but Double Delight is definitely the best one to get your food. Not only the price is very reasonable, and the guys who works in the front is nice also, he remembers all the time that we only want our chicken broccoli to be in white sauce, instead of brown sauce. Thump Up !!!

Great customer service and the food is delicious. I’ve tried many different items on the menu. So far I have no disappointment. The guy takes good care of his customers. They also accommodate your needs. Like I like my dishes less juicy and my fried rice using white rice, and they gladly do that for me. This is definitely my go to for Chinese food!!!

So Ive been looking for a good American Chinese spot in my area for a while now. Remembered way back when I worked nights on New U ave that I would stop in and grab take out from here but havent been in in years, so tonight I got off the D at 79th instead of 18th because i had a craving for that all American Chinese dish of Combo Beef and Broccoli with roast pork fried rice and an egg roll. It delivered. Tender beef, lots of good, gloppy sauce, good fried rice with plenty of pork and a crispy, greasy egg roll. I will be putting it back on my take out list.

So, here’s the deal: Double Delight has become a food group in my world(right above pizza.) I love ordering my food, and 15 minutes later, having it arrive at my door, hot and ready to consume with the fervor of a starved wolf who just got into a discarded batch of bad meth. My most ordered items are the sweet, savory, sticky General Tso’s Chicken, spare ribs(order them«well done» and cut in half for best results,) Eggplant with Chicken in Garlic Sauce and Fried Pork Dumplings. It’s all INSANELY good and stupid cheap. Most importantly, they’re always consistent. I know that no matter when I order, I’m getting the delicious Chinese-American goodies I crave. Thanks for all the after-school, late-night meals and free egg rolls, Double Delight.

Benny’s the best he takes good care of me. Double Delights food might not be as good as Chinatown but if you don’t live in Chinatown and want great affordable food from good people go here. The Kung Pao is outta sight, Chicken sticks should be a Schedule II Controlled Substance and the Beef with String Beans is gonna blow you away.

It’s become better. I order from here often. Especially when I’m hungover, like now. I shall feast on the delights, double today. Yes. I shall.

Pork should not be in vegetable menu(Szechwan Tofu). Pork item should be listed in pork menu.

Super yummy! No problems here! They give you a separate bowl with brown sauce, which is pretty cool, so you can put just the right amount on. Nothing fancy about the space, prices aren’t too high. Feel like Chinese? Good place to go!

This place is quite good. We always order either the fried chicken or generals tso with hot and sour soup. On weekdays its packed with high school students and on weekend packed with mexicans. not typically a great stay-in place. But the food is good.
