Got a large sausage and mushroom pie($ 21). Sauce is sweet and they didn’t skimp on toppings. Great alternative to papa Johns if you like brooklyn style pizza. It’s not as crispy as old style brooklyn pizza, but close enough. Just pop it into the oven the next day and it’s the right crispiness.

Pizza was pretty good flavor wise, it was also nice and crispy. I just wish it was a bit more fresh. I also got an espresso which was a bit overpriced and I didn’t get any milk with it =/

David’s Pizza is convenient for the locals like me. My usual pizza parlor when I’m home in Brooklyn. Their pizza is what I describe as homely, comfort food — without the crazy spices and complexity at other more modern pizza joints. The plain pizza slices here are very traditional and just simple but that’s why they stand out! Simple dough, simple mozzarella cheese, and simple tomato sauce. Simple but perfect!

Friendly neighborhood restaurant. Rosa is always available and greets everyone with a smile and hello. Delicious Italian food.. The best eggplant parm in Brooklyn.

Growing up around the neighborhood; this was ALWAYS my go to place for pizza and pasta. I love their baked ziti. They have a deal every Saturday for I believe $ 11 for a whole pie which is a good deal. It used to be like $ 8⁄9 but of course the price increased overtime. I’ve always liked their pizza but throughout the years seems like the quality is not the same anymore. It’s still good but just not as good as it used to be. I’m forever a fan for their baked ziti, garlic knots and thin pizzas !

I have been going to David’s for over 15 years. I don’t get to the neighborhood that often but whenever I am there I’ll grab a slice. The pizza here is absolutely wonderful. The crust is thin and crispy, the tomato sauce is tangy, the cheese is gooey, and the whole slice is oily as it should be. The restaurant is not much to look at. Most clients order take-out or delivery. There are a few benches set up for those eating in. The owner is an old Italian woman in her 70s. Once you’ve been here a few times she will remember you forever. For authentic NYC pizza without fuss stop by David’s!

Salads come with lots of olives, garlic knots won’t impact your breath, and the pizza is decent. Least favorite item are the wings; soft skin and no dip/carrots/celery. If you order dinner, expect free warm bread. Keep the little guy in business.

I like this little spot. It’s a lil mom & pop place, but the people are very nice. I always ask for them to cut the pizza in little small pieces for my kids and they’re always happy to comply. Their pizza is great too, sometimes I have a hankering for a slice and they definitely do satisfy.

Magic David’s is a very decent pizza place for NYC, let alone for the area. The pizza is great, good ingredients, some of the best dough I’ve eaten, the service is quick, just as pizza should be, and their weekend special pretty much makes pizza on Saturdays an obligatory meal(pies for $ 8). I used to live in the area and when I first moved there I was totally amped up for some great Chinese food, since there are a lot of Chinese families that live in the neighborhood. After I found out that most of the Asian spots were just sub-par take outs, Magic David’s was my go to place. The employees are all extremely nice and deserve many more stars than the previous reviews have given them. Check it out(as well as the sting ray tail!)

Magic David is a neat neighborhood pizzeria. If you’re lucky the proprietor will be around. She’s about 70, and will try to speak to you in Italian, as though the language can be learned merely via friendly encouragement. If you come back months later, she’ll remember you. Bring a few people and order a pizza, a couple of pastas, and pasta fagioli. The food is better than at most similar places, and the coffee and hot chocolate are great(pulled from a machine that belies the place’s humbleness). The international Italian TV network has a show some nights that recaps the weekend’s soccer results from Serie A down to semipro. The proprietor watches this show religiously and demonstrates interest in the outcome of every single match, cursing to herself if her favored team loses.

The pizza here isn’t that bad! I like it more than the famous places around NYC like Lombardo’s and etc. I’ve grew up eating it, maybe that’s why.

The actual name has the word Magic in it, which adds awesome points. Standard pizza place. The pies are fine, typical, not great but normal. The crust on the pizza is pretty good though, and sometimes I will stop in just to buy some dough, which they will sell you for $ 3, and go home and make my own pizza. I had a salad from them once, and it was pretty gross – it was basically the toppings for a hamburger, with iceburg lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles! Also, there is a crazy, long stingray stinger hanging from the wall, which is really strange, I love it.
