Crown Fried Chicken

Some of the workers there are extremely rude. I asked for deliver food once, and as soon as I got the food, the person that delivered demanded I give him a tip. Another time I asked for delivery and they demanded that I unblock my number and give them my apartment number before they can take my order. They normally call when they are outside and have never asked for an apartment number before. I have never had this issue. They lost my business completely!

It was just one of those nights when you just need fried chicken in your stomach. I’ve been coming here during times of stress and financial instability. It just so happened that one night, after a long day at work, I ordered hot wings and fries. It took forever for the man in the kitchen to take my order. He was super friendly, but also very slow. And at that time, I was the only one in the joint. The hot wings here are always good. If you do plan to have a wings night here, make sure you ask for Bleu cheese, because they won’t just give it to you. And who doesn’t want Bleu cheese with their wings?

2 stars for being open late (even more late than McDonald’s in the area), having chicken tenders (sometimes too hard and crispy) and mozzarella sticks. The marinara sauce was too liquidy and they are cheap with condiments (give you two or three small packets of ketchup or BBQ sauce for a large entrée order).
The service is slow and sometimes uncomfortable. I have never felt comfortable here, although it is better than most Crown Fried Chicken chains (maybe because of the recent grand opening). This place is cash only and has an ATM available inside.
I give them props for a good assortment of sodas, energy drinks, juices, teas, etc. The bright lighting hurts my eyes and sometimes the loud music. I would recommend this place if you have late night munchies.

Overall I’d say 3 but rating this +1 star since the guys there are always friendly and reliable. Prices on some items are slightly higher than they should and some are off if you do the math but not enough to be a deterrent. Food is alright not too bad compared to what’s around the area.

Very friendly guys! Always fun to chat with about random things. Food is on point and always tastes great. Is it the healthiest? Hello no. But let’s be realistic, sometimes you don’t want a vegan muffin and organic smoothie — you want some fried popcorn chicken, sugary lemonade, and curly fries for $ 6.
