Colorful Nails

This place needs an attitude adjustment, I only come here cuz it’s up the block from my house, and there’s nothing else close by, but the wait is ridiculous. Even though they do walkins no appointments they take people out of turn. Waited over an hour to change a nail color smdh.

I have being going to this nail salon on and off for years mainly just to get manicures and pedicures. Salon choice was mostly out of convenience and habit. The employees are pleasant and the service is ok. My manicure don’t last more than 2 – 3 days, low quality nail polish. But for the price of the mani/​pedi ($ 18.99), I should expect more.
I got a foot fungal infection after a recent pedicure. Against my better judgement, I went back for a pedicure. I was, however, more hyper-​vigilant and looked at everything they were doing.
1. The place is dirty. Not is a very obvious sort of way but pay attention and look around at the floors. There is dirt settled around the baseboard, nail clippings on the floor. That’s a red flag. I never used the bathroom so I cannot comment on how sanitary it is.
2. While the employees are wearing gloves during the pedicure which is good, it looks like they reuse the same gloves. They don’t look new.
3. They don’t always spray anything in the tubs and sometimes wash it out with just water. When they do, who knows what it is. I no longer feel confident that it’s and antifungal solution (just speculation here)
4. The equipment there is old and needs replacement. The paddings on the table for your hands get taped up when torn, the nail dryers are falling apart with missing buttons.
I don’t plan to return there. The fungus I got wasn’t terrible but my feel looks ugly with all the peeling. I could be worse! I don’t plan to find out.

First two time I went here nails came out perfect when the guy did it but when I got them done from one of the ladies didn’t come out as I wanted… also there pedicures are really good and worth the price

Decent place to stop by. Not to busy. Moderate amount of time spent. All in all not complaining off the pricing
