Was walking around tryna find something to eat late around 12am they were open and serving food. Been to this neighborhood like twice so luckily we found something this late and it didn’t disappoint. They didn’t have ox tail but they had banging pigs feet and the rice and beans was on point. Although late at night the rice was still soft and moist. Grabbed a flan and a soda food came out to $ 11. Super cheap compared to what you get around LES. $ 11 will get you just the meal no drink or dessert. If I’m ever back around this around I definitely know where to go and get my money’s worth. Great food and staff.

So me and the Hubby discovered this place after our favorite Spanish spot closed down. I can’t believe living in greenpoint my whole life and being a life long lover of Spanish food I never knew about this place! Being out of the way of delivery we have to pick up the food not not a big deal, it’s worth it for the amount of food you get for the price you pay. Best dishes so far, chicharron de pollo, steak with onions, pernil, fried pork chops. The arroz con gandules are the best I ever had, and they are more than generous with the portions. The Hubs is from Puerto Rico so he’s VERY picky with his Spanish food and he loves this place, he turned his coworkers onto it and they love it. I recommended it to coworkers of mine who live in queens and they make the trek from Whitestone to willy b for the food. Servers are not always the friendliest but I prob wouldn’t be either with the amount of people they serve a day. Oh and the Cubano is one of the best sandwiches I ever had, 6 $ for a sandwich you’ll eat twice

I would say the food is good but it really depends what you get. i feel like certain items are just ok and others are good but than again that is my opinion. The staff is nice again depending on who you get but others can be rude in terms of leaving you there waiting for take out for a while. You have to flag them down sometimes.

Not the best Dominican food I’ve tried in the area. Staff needs to be trained on how to treat customers. I wish could find a spot with real delicious Dominican food in Williamsburg area.

Good Dominican food and very affordable, you can’t go wrong from ordering food from here. The only downside if you order a delivery, it may sometimes take a while for yoru food to get to you. max i waited was about 30 mins but the food was still hot so i’m assuming they got swamped with deliveries.

Good Dominican food and very cheap! You can’t go wrong from ordering food from here. The chicken is awesome especially with the mojito(green sauce) on the side! The BIG downside to this restaurant is that their service is HORRIBLE! very slow service and they get the orders mixed up or even forget what you ordered. Be careful when you order and make sure they understand what you are requesting. Besides the service food is good.

I wouldn’t say hipsters eat the best stuff, but this is one of the rarer exceptions in Billysburg. My coworkers and I like to order a massive amount of food from here when we start to get delirious from the long hours and hunger pangs. They have this special that’s available all day for $ 5 that includes a quarter of a chicken(so soft and tender), rice, and beans that will definitely stuff you up and get you the bang for your buck you’re looking for. There was one time when I got my order and I realized my chicken was way too fatty, crispy, and… just overall gross. Turns out my order got mixed up and I got someone else’s pork dish instead. The pork was good, but I don’t like overly greasy and fatty food so I most likely won’t get it again. The grilled pork chop is to die for. It’s $ 10 for two huge chunks of pork chop, rice, salad, and chickpeas. I usually split it because the portions are so big. Definitely worth getting.

El Puente is epic. The music is very loud, the portions are very big. Its not any culinary masterpiece. The chicken tends to be dry. The soupy rice is very flavorful though. Fun and cheap and easy.

When you are looking for the most bang for your buck in Hipsterville AKA Williamsburg before a long night of binge drinking, this is the spot. the chicharron de pollo are the most scrumptious, buttery balls of grease one can ask for before filling their belly with booze. They did forget the mojito with the tostones, which was a bit of a disappointment. If you like this place, check out El Castillo De Jagua in the LES.

I use to and still do kinda dislike this place. Although the food is yummy, that is the only reason to step foot in this establishment. El canario is by far better in service. Some of the womyn here wear hair nets and some dont. None of the men that work/walk behind the counter wear hair nets(the owner and some other guy that i still have not figured out his purpose). The music(if your planing on staying) is unreasonable loud. I love my bachata but Id like to keep my hearing. LOVE, love, their rice. honestly I think that is the only thing they cook that is constant. It is always a buttery delight :) yet I cant speak for the rest of the food, its either a hit or a miss. Like the other day I went to buy some pernil :/nothing but oil(literally, absolutely no flavor).

Good Spanish food(as far as this Filipina can tell). The rotisserie chicken is pretty much always fresh, and the pernil goes really fast. When they have the avocado salad, it’s great. And the lunch special is a generous serving rice/beans/entrée at $ 5 or $ 6 depending on which meat you order. It’s really two meals in one!

Incredible Dominican spot right off of the Williamsburg Bridge. A friend and I were walking around one day. We got hungry and decided to stop in and try it. Man, was I ever glad that we did! The chicken was nice and juicy, so tasty.

I’ve never eaten here. I never will because every single day I get to smell the fat coming through my windows. It smells disgusting.
