Although the food and beverages were not outstanding, the entertainment was great! The MC was hilarious and the acrobatics and dancers were beautiful. I enjoyed the intimate space of The Bridges and the staff was very sweet. It’s not a super fancy burlesque, but it is incredibly entertaining and I would be excited to visit again and again!

We had a really great time at this show. We have been to many burlesque shows and this one ranks among the best. We sat stage-side and had an ideal view of everything. Leave your prudish side at home and you’ll have a great time.

I wanted to begin by thanking my girlfriend and the staff for making this an exciting and memorable event. My gf surprised me with front row seats to the show. We were literally in front of the stage. If you buy a seat and not a table you must go to bar and order whatever drinks you like. The drinks are fairly priced(had goose island on draft all night). Now let’s assess the show. It starts with this quirky MC that comes out and introduces his quirky self and the performing aerialist and burlesque dancers. All of the burlesque dancers were very talented and they all had different personalities. You had the happy one, the sassy one, the fun one, and the evil one lol. The aerialists were very talented and disciplined as well. The Brazilian girl kicked ass! Now to make the night even more interesting I was volunteered on the stage by my gf for a little competition to win a free drink. I will keep the details of what I had to do to myself but I ended winning a free drink on stage. Overall I had a great night and the staff was very friendly and interactive. I would definitely come here in a big group or with a significant other. There are also plenty of things to do in the area such as Brooklyn bridge park. FYI look out for Groupon and LivingSocial deals.

woohoo as good as it gets true yes. in a nutshell theee best show in all of new york. it’s like a tarantino film that is live: mixed with cirque de soleil plus the delirious fun of the movie showgirls and magic mike. its hard: no unfathomable to try to explain. just watch and become addicted. some addictions are worth keepin. burlesque below the bridges is my addiction. quitting is for losers. soleil flux

Much to my dismay, the nearby Galapagos art space closed down a few months ago — forcing it’s inhabitants to scatter across the city. I started receiving emails that some of the performers transitioned from Galapagos to Below the Bridges and welcomed the opportunity to check it out. The host, bastard Keith was raunchy as always. He worked the audience and while entertaining, his entire performance was less scandalous than something you’d see at the slipper room. Sometimes it’s more fun when things are eluded to than blatant, outright perversion. Jenny Rocha and her troupe exude class, talent and skill. All of their lineups were engaging and appealing, especially the«hospital/surgery» performance. I was snickering the entire time! The rest of the performances were professional, all with some form of appeal and talent. The venue space is fantastically lit but, a little uncomfortable. The Aeriel/ribbon performers looked precariously close to the tables. We were awkwardly seated under the stairs at the end of the back row. As the stage manager was moving props next to me, I felt cramped between the bottom of the stairs and the wall. Additionally, I had to constantly reposition and myself so I could see the acts that weren’t performed directly on stage. In short, I couldn’t easily see the show — and for once in my life it wasn’t because of any vertical disadvantage. While a table certainly would have been more cozy, and had a much better view, I didn’t feel the $ 50 minimum per person(in addition to the ticket) was worthwhile. I also didn’t want to be forced to eat there considering the plethora of dinner options across the east river… Doors open at 8:30, but it’s essentially dead until 9:10.

Really enjoyed the show. It was a fantastic way to spend a Saturday night in the city. I’m always looking for new live entertainment options and this was a perfect find. We got the seats that were«under the stairs» and they were great. Close to the stage and reserved so you didn’t have to worry about getting there too early. The emcee was funny and really knew how to work the crowd. The performers were a range of dancers and arielists who provided a great range. It’s definitely a sexually charged evening which makes this great for guys and the gals. My boyfriend was more than pleased to join for the evening. It was fun all around. I would highly recommend going to see it this summer for a nice switch up to the normal beach routine.

We genuinely enjoyed the entire experience(except for the room temperature, it seemed like the AC was not working properly). It was a very fun and unique show! The host was hilarious and the acts varied, we especially enjoyed Jenny Rocha and her Painted Ladies, great performances. This is only our second«burlesque show», with the first being the Slipper Room, and the atmosphere and overall intimacy and seating at the Bridges was a much more enjoyable experience. We purchased the Living Social deal for stage side/under the stairs seating, great deal. Food is as expected bar/sports bar food. Would love to go back for table seating but not for $ 35 per ticket, especially since table seating would mean ordering dinner as well. Maybe a minimum order for table seats? That would be fair.

Went to the 4th of July show with a friend and really really enjoyed it. High quality performers(both aerial and burlesque) which were funny, sexy, beautiful and impressive(and all combinations). MC was also great. The venue was a smaller and more intimate than I expected(and the«below the stairs» seats are great value). Recommended Dumbo outing!

Six of us, from Hoboken, attended the June 27th show. We are in our mid 30s. The MC is a riot(reminds me of conan o’brien). There is tremendous value for the ticket price: 3 hours of entertainment with three 10min intermissions. There are several acts besides the strip teases. Street side parking wasn’t challenging either. Just go, don’t over think it.

I applaud the effort, but unfortunately it was a bad show with an inflated tab. Skip this show and head to the Slipper Room or any other burlesque show on the planet!

I was looking for an out of the ordinary place for date night, well this is it. The MC and performers were excellent. Definitely go, the show is a must see.
