Want your whites turned red? Try Beekman Super Laundry! Want to be treated like you’re a real nuisance for patronizing a business? Go to Beekman Super Laundry! Want to come home to discover you’re missing half your socks? Beckman is your place! I would assume that common sense would intervene before placing a customer’s light colored laundry in with something red — but clearly I was wrong. Silly me. Super glad that half of my clothes are ruined. I wish this neighborhood had better laundry drop off options. I also wish my white shirts weren’t stained with red splotches and my socks had partners, but hey! My fault for assuming a business that deals in washing clothes would actually know what they were doing. #BooBeekman #JustThrewAwayFiveShirts

You get what you pay for — overall a good experience, would use the drop off service and was never charged any extra fees. I don’t even think I ever paid over $ 10-$ 12 even for a lot of laundry. On one occasion I think my clothes came back somewhat smaller… wasn’t a big deal, but I’d be careful about delicate items. On some occasions, staff was nice, friendly and helpful — other times not so much. They were never rude or did a bad job, though. If I still lived close by, I’d keep on using their service.

Can’t argue with 50¢ a pound. Unlike the other reviewer I’ve never been charged an extra«service» fee. Maybe they have a minimum but I’ve never encountered it. We’ve been using the drop off service for about a year now and haven’t had any major problems, but we don’t send any delicate items through there either and handwash them at home instead.

I would give this place ZERO stars if I could… machines that take your money and don’t work, customers that see fit to move your belongings and your clothes without even asking, and staff that acts like you’re doing them a favor by patronizing their business. I have been going here for years, as it is the cheapest option around, but after 2 weeks straight of being ripped off by the machines that take your money and(unfortunately) do not run, I think its high time for me to find a new laundromat… unless you actually enjoy having to reload a machine 3 times over, just to get a single wash, I recommend you launder elsewhere.

Disingenuous. I was drawn in by the 50 cents a pound sign outside the door. I had 14 pounds. My receipt read 7 dollars. When I picked up my laundry, I was charged 10 dollars. The additional«fee» was for«service». No one wants to feel like they’re being shaken down. This a garbage business practice. Additionally, the young woman who helped me with my laundry spoke to me as if I was ruining her day. I felt so unwelcome in this store, as if my business was somehow an inconvenience to this worker. They could have been my local place but I’ll never go back.

This new Caribbean-owned(I think) laundromat is about a block away from the B/Q Prospect Park stop — Lincoln Rd exit. It’s tiny, which is the only reason I gave it four stars. Otherwise, it’s clean, cozy, the machines are new and well-maintained*, and the staff are friendly(as long as you’re not an asshole — Caribbean people don’t put up with that shit). I think the smallness of this laundromat actually works in its favor, along with its out-of-the-way location, because a lot of people overlook it in favor of larger places. As a result, I’ve never yet had to wait for a machine at this place — not even on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.(Hope this review doesn’t change that…) But even if the place fills up, it’s cool — this laundromat has drop-off service at an eye-popping $.50/pound. That’s the cheapest I’ve found in this neighborhood, and thus far(I’ve dropped off maybe 4 times) they haven’t lost any of my clothes, dyed my whites pink, or given me someone else’s underwear. *Not a lot of selection of washing machines, note: they’ve just got two sizes, regular and large. The large were big enough for me to wash my full-sized faux down comforter.
