The wait was a lot longer than the guy there said it would be.
As for the food itself, roll that I had wasn’t very good and the cake slice I ordered had mold on it.

My first issue here with this place is that their employees are not the brightest. My boyfriend and I ordered boneless wings for pick up and of course they gave us wings on the bone. The wings themselves were very mediocre, I definitely would not get these again boneless or not. They also frequently forget side dishes and condiments when you order from them which is a pain. I tried their eggplant Parmesan and the bread so was so soggy I didn’t even finish it. This place is only good if you want a plain pie and you’re broke, it’s not the greatest pizza in the world but for the price it’ll do. But, even then it takes them forever to make so if you’re starving I wouldn’t recommend coming here (or call in advance for pick up).

I have ordered from this place quite a few times since I moved to this neighborhood. The biggest selling point for me is gluten free pizza that doesn’t cost a million dollars. They deliver. They’re friendly. They’re not overpriced. I can eat a quick dinner and not worry about being sick from gluten. I’m a fan.

Dont buy from these dead beats. They dont honor internet orders.
Ordered atomic wings online. Pickup option. Will pay by cash. When checking out online, was asked to pick a free soda. I did. Checked out, got an email confirmation. Waited a bit, then went to get my order.
When I was checking out, I was handed the wings, but no soda. I mentioned that the order included a soda. I was told the website was wrong. I said it’s on your website and on my receipt, a copy of which was in your hands.
He again said, the website is wrong, no soda. I said, but it’s your website. Aren’t you going to honor our deal. He said no, and it’s not my website. I said that’s not my problem.
I put the wings down and walked out.
They lost a customer, all because they wouldn’t honor a deal on their website on a soda that may have cost them 50 cents.

Are you looking for food poisoning? How about a parasite? Then this place is the right place to order from. After ordering food that didn’t taste good the first time, I gave it another chance by ordering something else. Well I was wrong with that one, judging by the first few words of this review I’m sure you can guess how that turned out.
Stay away.

Placed an order online, waited for almost 2 hours, called the restaurant after an hour and the worker managed to tell me that it’ll be there shortly. If another hour is considered shortly for you yeah it was shortly.

Very friendly staff and food went there for my second time not knowing order and the cashier (ahmed) gladly recommend me atomic wings I am not a huge fan of wings but after received my boneless combo it changed my whole perspective on wings. I love it here

Great food atmosphere and vibe. Very friendly staff. Great tasting food and. Wide variety of items. They also have a TV playing good movies and sports shows. Very neat and clean place I highly recommended this pizzeria if you want great food at a great price. ¹⁰⁄₁₀

So I grub-​hubbed from these guys and got the 3-​cheese panini and a side of fries. The panini came and someone screwed up because all I got was panini toast with pesto, NO CHEESE. I alerted GrubHub to this, and about 10 minutes later a nice man named Julio rang me from the restaurant. After I explained the mistake to him, he promised me a new sandwich would be delivered. about 30 minutes later who shows up at my doorstep, but Julio, with a fresh and cheesy panini and a delicious San Pellegrino to go with it! He explained to me the 3 different cheeses and the pesto sauce that is served on the sandwich. That’s great customer service and the sandwich was tangy and gooey and delicious. Thank you Julio for saving my lunch today.

I love the wings, when they get the order right. I’ve ordered twice while my daughter naps and specifically asked the driver to call and not ring the bell but that message never goes through. Ordered today and the guy that took the order sounded like he never took an order on a phone before and didn’t know their options. Just wish they would get their act together cause the wings are good…

Rudest phone guy. Waited an hour for a cold soggy pizza. Never again. Will read Unilocal before ordering again

Food poisoning
Me and my wife bought pizza here last night and are both suffering from food poisoning this morning. STAY SAFE STAY AWAY.

Why does the first order have to be so delicious and the second order just so bad?
Burgers were so burnt we couldn’t eat them. One burger still had paper on it, which was burnt and stuck on it. We also ordered chicken wings but after tasting the burgers we couldn’t trust the chicken wings anymore.
First time I ordered from them I was so happy. Finally a great burger spot with delicious chicken wings! No​.No. No. Unfortunately never ordering from them again. I don’t like burnt paper on my burgers.

I’ve had their buffalo wings once and they were good, so I decided to order again.
Although I’ve been to the actual store for pizza before, we ordered on seamless, to disregard the hassle of going all the way over there.
It’s been an hour since we ordered, and guess what? No food. So after reading these reviews, I decided to call and check up on my food.
Let me remind you that I’m absolutely starving. ONLY wings does NOT take so long to prepare. Whats the hold up?
The guy on the phone told me that there was still 20 – 30 minutes until the food was prepared and delivered. SERIOUSLY?
I just want to cancel and order from somewhere else but my family said it would take just the same to order from somewhere else.
WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT.

Do not go there! Over two hours for a delivery and they cancel without telling me because I call politely to inquire on status. This is not a place I would ever recommend.

Unfortunately the quality took a hit since what looks like a new ownership.
I used to go here ALOT and the food was always consistently okay, never any issues. But after not visiting this place for a while I decided to come in to pick up some lasagna (which was usually good), however what I received was not lasagna but extremely salty sauce with little to no meat and pasta under the melted cheese. On the menu they have lasagna under the «Baked Pasta» category, however this was not baked but microwaved — given the cold inside and the barely melted mozzarella.
As for the single slice pizza and rolls– they looked like they’ve been there for a while — not too appetizing.
Hopefully they improve and I will probably stop by in the future to see how it is but as of now its a definite thumbs down.
Also when it came to paying I wanted to charge my C.C. but the person at the register said cash only even though the menu says they accept cards — kinda fishy.

At one point my family and I would order on the days I chose not to cook. $ 9 for a large pie was an awesome deal. Half the time the food was decent. the other half of the time the food was pretty gross. We often would crack the joke of hoping to get the good chef. Fries gross, pizza gross, garlic knots gross the only item that was ever consistently good was the beef patty. of course the item that is NOT made by them.
Then one day I placed an order and they said $ 13!!! The only reason why we ordered is because it was a price that couldn’t be beat … Oh no. I hung up and never called again. if it were possible to put no stars I wouldve

. After about 2 hours called the business to see if my order left. First, the guy answered the phone; Hello. So, I had to ask if this was a business. Then, when I asked about my order, he seemed confused and couldn’t find it. So, I cancelled it, and called
to tell them to credit my card. They called the place, and the guy told the operator my order left already. She cancelled it, and told me to refuse the order. Still waiting for the doorbell to ring.

I like this place because it’s close by.
They have a lot of deals and they’re always listed on the walls. The service is quick and they have a wide variety of food. Ziti is great here and so is the pizza! 8 bucks for a whole pizza I believe! As well as lots if combo deals including soda and burgers and just plain yum!
They have seating here too and it feels very homey since everything is made of wood and their counter is of marble. Feels like a kitchen and dining room.
However please don’t come here in the summer. They have no AC just fans and they open the windows. It’s sweaty!

I ended up finding my way to Ave. X Pizza because my dad swears by this place. To be fair, he’s not picky at all when it come to pizza — odd considering he’s Italian. Unfortunately it turns out that I don’t share this adoration. It is, however, in a very convenient location 3 blocks from my parents’ place.
Here’s what I love about Ave X Pizza:
1) They’re open relatively late for a pizzeria — 10pm on weeknights, 11pm on weekends.
2) They have a very decent selection of specialty pies (I haven’t tried any yet, so I can’t comment on their quality)
3) Their Jamaican beef patties *always* hit the spot
And now for the not-​so-​good…
1) Their garlic knots really aren’t garlicky enough
2) The marinara sauce that comes with the garlic knots was so acidic that it actually burned the roof of my mouth (in a chemical-​burn feeling kinda way, not a «this sauce is far too hot» type of way), and the sauce itself tasted slightly burnt, almost as if it came from the bottom of the pot.
3) Their spinach rolls have a terrible after taste. I can’t tell if the spinach is canned, or just overcooked, but either way it’s not pleasant. The dough in the spinach rolls — although I’m sure it’s the same dough they use for their garlic knots — somehow just tastes floury and bland.
4) Their sausage roll, although it tastes pretty good, has barely any sausage in it.
5) Their plain slices, which are the cornerstone of any pizzeria, really aren’t good at all. And after tasting their marinara straight, it’s pretty obvious that that’s half the culprit. After tasting just a piece of the dough from the spinach roll, I’m imagining that bland dough is the other culprit. Sadly, dousing bland dough and terrible sauce with cheese doesn’t really do the trick.
6) This may not be an issue if you’re ordering delivery, but I went by today when the high reached 98, and there was NO air conditioning! I was dying. Thank goodness my order was for take-​out because I dunno how I would’ve kept alive inside with no A/​C.
I really wanted to like the pizzeria considering the people that work there seem incredibly nice, and it’s SO close and convenient, but at this point, their only redeeming qualities are their late hours and Jamaican beef patties — which, when you think about it, are usually the redeeming qualities of a solid bodega, not a pizzeria. Considering their close proximity, I will likely head back again for a specialty slice, and pray that it makes up for their sub-​par plain cheese slice, as I’d really like to be able to give this place a 3-​star review, at least.
