Super rude over the phone and can take upwards of an hour and half for regular pizza pie. Whomever is picking up the phone and taking orders is curt and not nice at all. How long are you willing to wait?

I had a slice of pizza there, after my first bite, I wanted to vomit. It taste like the pizza had been sitting out for days. I went to the owner and asked him if there was a fresh pie coming out. He gave me a nasty attitude and yelled that nothing was wrong with the pizza I was having. He refused to give me a refund or a fresh slice. So I threw the pizza out right in front of him. Whoever rated this place anything more then a 1, is out of there minds.

My wife and I had a pizza here. It was wonderful and I consider it just a little below the great pizzas. We want to return and try some of the other Italian food here. The location is highly convenient, about 20 feet from the Sheepshead Bay station. For cleaning, this place gets five stars plus. We walk by often and whenever a customer is not being served the employees are cleaning something. Often the counters but yesterday the front of the oven was being cleaned. I wish I was the guy selling this place cleaners, I would make a lot of money.

I can only base my review on the Marinara slices. DelMar(down the bay road) used to be my Go to pizzeria, but they became very expensive and the slices are too undercooked for my tastes. Bay Pizza Marinara slices are well done without being burned, which is necessary because if the crust is too doughy it will fall apart. Prices are reasonable for the neighborhood, the staff there are super friendly. I’ve had friends complain about when they got food delivered, but I can’t comment on that as I’ve only ever eaten in. If you want a good solid marinara slice,(no mozzarella, only Parmesan cheese) that’s not overpowering with sauce, Bay is the place to go.

Oh there is definitely a quality decline. I tried the Chicken roll today and it was doughy and tasteless. The slices are still decent but it’s definitely not as good as it used to be. I miss the cutie behind the counter.

The spinach roll I had from this establishment was one of the worst I’ve ever had. The spinach tasted more like seaweed than spinach, and the mozzarella had a metallic taste to it. The entire roll literally tasted like someone took some dough, dumped some frozen chopped spinach into the middle, threw in a low-quality string cheese, wrapped it up and baked it for 10 mins. No seasonings, no garlic, not even any salt and pepper. I definitely will not be returning here and would not recommend to anyone.

This 4 star review is only because of there penne w/vodka slices. It is delicious and well worth the price,(if you buy the pie) otherwise you’ll be paying an arm & a leg for 2 of these bad boys. There regular slices are not too good– very dry and dull(basically lacking sauce) And the staff is not too friendly, maybe it’s because they hear the roar of the train from the elevated subway station every 10 mins.

Hunger, Satiety, and a case of Supply & Demand are three unwelcoming /conflicting propositions for which most of us are bestowed. Given the situation(6:00pm, weeknight, venturing to a locale with minimal consumables for purchase [aside from vending machine food]), the opportunity to consume average Brooklyn pizza was no longer a luxury, but that of necessity. One slice, grab & go… Nothing more needs to be said. Fresh Mozzarella with Tomato Slice($ 3.25): At first reception, the excessive amount of olive oil derived from the tomato sauce base was the first visual explicatory connotation that hindered any signs of edible preference for this«pizza». At first bite, the excessive amount of oil generated from the tomato sauce produced a burdensome consumption that’s similar to consuming a fried edible that’s yet to be drained. The excessive oil from the pizza hindered the delicate sweetness of the tomato sauce and soaked the semi charred dough crust foundation, leaving a sloppy rendition of what is to be a «crust». Furthermore, the oil disdained the velvety softness of the fresh mozzarella and rendered the entire application inedible. Ultimately, no flavor contrast, no textural contrast, and no remarks other than regret were bestowed on this application. Given the soft and velvety nature of fresh mozzarella, an accompanying sauce should mirror its sweetness, rather than overpower it with excessive /gluttonous amounts of olive oil. Perhaps starvation would’ve been a preferred route. The $ 3.25 set back, along with the mindset of having consumed more than 3 tablespoons of olive oil in just 4 bites was enough to put any mind out of ease. Given the circumstances, my initial preference to order the chicken roll would’ve been more sufficient. Sadly, the more preferred«healthier» option was by far the more detrimental.
