Nice place to go with friends when you want to relax and have a conversation. The food is subpar to say the least and the drinks can be better. If you want a beer and a decent scene this is the place for you

This place is usually empty I don’t know how they’ve stayed open for so long. I haven’t been here in years but I had a craving for their grilled chicken caesar salad. This place is very underrated. The service was awesome and our waitress was really nice. The food came quick and it was exactly how I remember it from years before. The dressing is extremely thick and creamy. The romaine was grilled to perfection. And the chicken was cooked and seasoned very well. My experience was good and will probably return sooner than later.

If I’m loooking for my husband;) I know where to find him. This place is next door … Great food and atmosphere. Well known for many years. Welcoming and cozy. Stay well in business !

My favorite of the three locations! Came here my first time to see the great Jennifer Jade Ledesna perform. Brought in a crew of my Ukrainian friends to share in the experience with me.
The place starts off with a very sizable front patio, friendly (and usually very pretty) hostesses, and their usual menu which caters to everyone.
The design is beautiful and the giant barrel sticking out of the wall is such a nice touch! They really put love into this, as they did with all the other iterations.
Just a tip: When heading to the bathroom, be prepared to dance a few steps with whoever might be performing, because you’ll be walking within two feet of them as you go by. The crowd will cheer you on, because they are all there for the same thing… to have a nice, laid-​back evening with good people that want to hear beautiful music.

The food is good, drinks are expensive, like to come here all the time … Nice live music a lot of people, I recommend this place to all of you !!!

Great mix of Russian authentic menu with an American twist. Beer on tap from authentic Russian barrel. Not sure if they do this every night, but live jazz was a nice addition to the over all atmosphere.

I like their other location on Gravesend Neck Rd better because of the food. However, the ambience and atmosphere here makes this place a favorite spot if you want to relax and listen to live piano performance. The café is small but cozy. Their Caesar salad with grilled lettuce and shrimps is really good!

Very disappointing that it takes over an hour to get your food. Service could be better and prices are way too high for drinks.

I am so excited to say things have really changed here. food and service are both amazing! The bartender is fun and really creative.

Beautiful space brings back the memory of good days In Brooklyn… but it takes to long for food to come out

This place is a gem of manhattan beach. It is ideal for jazz lovers, liquor lovers, and a person who wants a low key and romantic scene. Its also a perfect place to grab drinks with your friends and gossip. Majority of the menu is french with other additional options like calamari, various salads, mushrooms and chicken dishes or steak. They also have a great dessert menu with options like cakes and crepes and of course excellent desert wines to go along with the dishes. The bar has tons of top shelf options from black label whiskey to belvedere vodka, also goose, ciroc, various tequillas and wines by the glass or bottle. The décor is gorgeous, wooden furniture, wine collections on the wall, a lit bar, a cozy lounge in the back where music is played, ideal for groups of 4 – 7 people. Towards the frontare seats by the bar or tables for groups of 3 or just a couple. The menu itself didnt list cocktails but they can make anything that you want, we decided to get sex on the beaches and it was perfect, not too sweet or strong or too watered down. Majority of the crowd is older russians, but my italian friend didnt feel uncomfortable at all, all staff speak english so it isnt an issue. For two drinks we paid 16 bucks, which beats any price in brooklyn, and the service is great ! Would i come back here for a chilled night? Absolutely!

I would have given more stars before my last visit. But the place changed. First, it is not remotely comparable to the gravesend neck rd location, not even close. But it has the same menu and has always been similar and, though not as good, a close second. But last time the food was completely different. The same things i ordered a hundred times before in both places were completely different. Not as good, not same quality, and overall worse. Still not a bad place by any means, but no longer worth stopping into over the 8 minute drive to the other one.

Very good selection of food. Everything is delicious especially their skirt steak. Good place to have a drink with a friend or take a date.

Still mad when i think about the way this waitress (older women. Obviously manager or at least a wannabe manager).
From the first moment the four of us came in she acted like we’re not welcome. She was rushing to take our order, like she wanted to have us out as quick as possible. She gave us the menu’s and asked right away if we are ready to order. I said a minute to look at the menu would be nice. She just left without a comment.
She didn’t bring the water we told her twice (at the end another waiter brought it) and to make it just better, she told us to change the table, so a bigger group can have a seat in the area we were sitting. Which would be fine if it would have been a bigger group which was coming…
Our impression was, that we were treated that way, because we are not Russians.
Sad, but true. She was way nicer to people she was able to talk in her language.
On the check they already included a tip of 15% for us. We were a group of 4!!!
And you don’t really get a «printed out of a register» check. It’s a handwritten note. God knows why…
The food was good, that’s why two stars. But seriously, i can have good food AND nice service in a lot of bars/​restaurants. So no reason to come back here…

I love this this place. Honestly. Live music EVERY night. Where else would you find that. Especially in this part of brooklyn. Good food. I recommend the ceaser salad. The chicken is great. Many beers on tap. Overall it has been around for over 10 years and I am happy to stop in for a drink everytime.

Must try their fried calamari! One of the best and not overly breaded just right! They have bands come in and play that are great but great really loud so stay away from the top balcony

okay so walking in i sat down waiting for a waiter/​waitress to come bring me the menu.
its a small-​ish type place with medium range music playing. it’s down the street from my school so me and some friends decided to go.
Its basically a bar. I’m a person who doesn’t drink alcoholic beverages.
thats all they basically had, so i got a desert to eat while the people i was with were drinking.
the environment is terrible. there was a drunk man that wouldn’t go away, he kept staying by the tables and trying to talk, he reeked of alcohol. disgusting.
the next table were full of drunk girls (at least 5 of them), one of the girls dropped their things and i helped her pick it up. she accused me of stealing her metro card. uhm? Okay, i guess you cant even be kind i people these days.
the desert was OK, not amazing. it was decent. actually, it wasnt decent, it was just OK. absolutely nothing special about it.
a place with bad service, ok deserts, and drunk people reeking of alcohol.
Definitely not my scene.

Pizda thinks she owns the joint. Service is beyond horrible, I don’t need a fork as favor I need a fork to eat the god daam salad.
When I order something I would like to eat it within 24 hours.

Local spot– 99% Russian crowd. Live music is awesome, but can be uncomfortably loud, there are a few bands that rotate during the week. I reccommend the Chicken Ceasar Salad (throw some shrimp in there too) Try the Chicken Pailard or the Skirt steak both hit the spot every single time. Full bar/​strong drinks. Try the leechy or the peach martini — Thank you bar tender. Service is usually up to par, might be because I frequent the place and take yoga with one of the servers.

This place is not closed. It was temporarily closed due to Hurricane Sandy, but they are open now.
This place is very good during warmer months, during spring and summer because it has outside seating area, which is very nice. During summer time there are plenty of hot chicks, dressed in nice summery clothes ;) Thus, I mostly like this place because it has a nice location, it is a good chill spot, and the crowd is not bad.
As far as their drinks go, nothing special. Whatever you want they’ll make for you, aside from your usual shelf drinks. The food food is good though. Freshly made, and very tasty. Their Grilled Hearts of Romaine Lettuce with Classic Ceasar Dressing salad is very good. Seems/​sounds like a regular ceasar salad, but the way they make it makes is different, and tasty. Also had Paillard of Chicken with Lemon-​Brandy Sauce. Also loved it, freshly made, hot off the pan.
The only reason I give this place 3 stars as opposed to 4 is because last time I went there service was sub-​par. Had to ask for simple, common sense things like small plates for the bread/​butter, and for appetizers, waited wayy too long for a glass of wine, considering there was only like 4 people at the place. Lastly, they automatically include a service charge of about 18 or 20% on your bill, no matter how many people are at your party. That particular day I did not think that my waiter deserved a 18 or 20% tip, more like the standard 15%.
