Staff working here is super rude! Never have I felt so uncomfortable shopping. She walked behind me the whole time and kept asking if I needed help. My sister was shopping as well and unfortunately she brought something. I tried on one dress. The woman took it out of my hand, went into my fitting room to check it before I went in, then waited for me to finish and took the dress when I came out and checked the room again. Uhhhhh hello! I understand you have to protect the stores merchandise but do not make people feel like that. NOTGOOD. TO make matters worse, I felt I was in a state down competition with her lol. I won’t shop here.

Very cute store. They have retro and basics garment. Its a great place to search for that missing piece of garment or a basic to style up.

This location is small but it’s organized/neat and the staff is friendly. It doesn’t get crowded, which is great. For some reason, feels less pretentious and snobby than other AA locations.

Recently, I purchased some workout pants! The store holds cute underwear and lingerie. I felt that the associates were very helpful. It is kind of hard to figure out the sizes but luckily the lady who helped me had an idea of the range that the sizes run in. The cashier was pretty nice, too. I think things are neatly organized. All the pieces of American Apparel are made in the states. I found this to be a great experience.

I came in with a Groupon and although the place is small, I came away with a great shirt at a great price. The staff was simply wonderful and made me feel like a full paying customer, even though I had the Groupon.

It’s true, AA only hires people who are pretentious and too big to fit into their ugly clothing. I do like their bikinis though, so I stop by every now and then to see what they have to offer. Unfortunately, they seem to be selling the same 10 bikinis for the last 3 years. This location is a bit different than some of the other AA shops because the workers are actually somewhat friendly and willing to assist.

American Apparel is what it is and you either like the clothes or you don’t. I do but don’t shop here much because of the prices. I was totally hooked up with a gift card as a Christmas gift and was thrilled cashing it in here. The chick who helped me was so nice, and knew what customer service meant. Every other time I’ve been to an AA its been a struggle to get an employee to even look my way. So, good job on that :)

While I don’t fancy myself a hipster, I really enjoy the Court Street American Apparel. Where else can you buy leg warmers, leotards and sweatbands at relatively reasonable prices?
