Ok food but nothing special. THe best is the chicken cutlet heroes. Better then eating in Maimonides hospital

Great place to stop by for a quick bite. I say great because the food is of good quality despite its relatively quick production. Spinach panini would not be a mistake, just saying.

I work right across from here. I usually never go in here since I rarely walk with cash. They don’t take cards. But, anyway, I ordered a cheeseburger and fries and a can soda. Almost $ 10.00. I got back in, to eat and it was the worst burger I have ever eaten in America! Even the fries were not right to taste. I finished it as I was hungry and spent the money, but the burger was not eaten. And was grateful for that soda. Conveniently located near maimonides hospital but terrible food. I may try breakfast, but if you can go wrong on a burger, wonder what you could with eggs.

Food didnt have much flavor. Definitely looked better in the window than it tasted. This is a place you go when you have no other choice. So many better places to get a sandwich but they are conveniently located next to the hospital. Probably wont be back.

If you’re at Maimonedes Hospital and looking for a cup of affordable coffee that isn’t DD, or something from a deli, it’s an acceptable choice. Nothing spectacular though.

Surprised by this place only having 3 stars. From the friendly service to the great food and this place is 24 hrs, I couldn’t ask for more working at the hospital across the street. The paninis are 7.50. I’ve had the fajitta chicken and chicken club; both are delicious and filling. I go here every time I’m at work especially a night shift.

I have been eating here for 4 years. While the menu hasn’t changed and it has gotten a little stale and boring for me for anyone else it is a great option. The prices are great. The service is excellent. Everyone who works there works hard and long hours. It’s still the first option for eating near maimo. You can customize what you want like any deli and great thing is that it open 24hrs.

The service is great the food is amazing! I recommend the panini. They have a bunch to choose from and there all good. Seating is limited and there next to a hospital but it’s worth the trip. You won’t be disappointed.

Decent food for reasonable prices. When we needed a place to eat something near the hosptial on Saturday noight, and all the place were closed(It is a Jewish area), we found three in one. It felt clean, and the food was fresh. But i cant say that the food was delicious. Great quick solution if you are in the area, and need something to eat on Saturday.

I’m confused by these reviews. Maybe because I’ve only ordered good/healthy things from here, and stayed away from their grill/sandwiches? But this is my go-to place for tasty, healthy food items during my visits to the hospital(once every 3 months on average). So far every healthy thing I’ve ordered from the buffet was clean, satisfying and filling. Items I’ve tried and can recommend: — spinach & honey mustard chicken — chicken fingers(with honey mustard sauce on side) — bean salad — avocado salad Like are y’all that are saying«expensive and unhealthy» just ordering the unhealthy things from here and then bitching about it? Also, NO panini I’ve had from ANY deli has EVER been good. Ever. Historically. It’s a given. So I never bothered ordering those. Also, service has always been kind. These dudes seem to work 24 hour days(at the least, 12 — the same 4 faces every time). How does one not look exhausted and stressed? But they’ve taken my weird requests with a smile. Eg: -«hey is that grapefruit only for juicing? Okay well can I buy one? Ummmm can you cut it into fours for me because I don’t have a knife?» They did that for me 4 days in a row with a smile. There’s a ton of healthy options here. In fact, this is the ONLY healthy option I see by the hospital when in need nutrients to counter the stress. High quality Greek yogurt, tea, fresh fruits(bananas, grapefruit), lots of veggie-based options in their buffet. And their buffet food is fresh and good. Calm down, cranky people.

They are always out of eggs. What kind of diner is always out of eggs? The first two times I came here after moving into the neighborhood I was able to get a bacon egg and cheese before work. I’ve returned about 5 times over the next few months and they’ve consistently been out of eggs. They’re surrounded by tiny grocery stores and delis. Go get some eggs!

The only thing I like about this deli is that it’s the closest food spot by the hospital and it’s open 24 hrs for those of us work on crazy hour shifts! but the foods just don’t do it! the quality of the food is far from good, from panini to hamburger. I ordered a hamburger once, and it tasted stale. I don’t mind paying $ 8 to $ 9 for half panini, but at least give me something that pleases my palate. Most of the food are prepared prior ordering and heat up in the back. There’s not many options in the area to begin with already, this deli makes it more disappointing additon to the ‘hood!

The food here is decent. I usually get a well-done roast beef sandwich with everything on it. While unhealthy, it definitely hits the spot. Their Philly cheese steak isn’t bad either despite the dripping oil. The problem with this place is the service. Everyone behind the deli looks like an ex-con who wants to punch you in the face when you’re ordering. The cashiers slap you your change and hustle you along without regard. The manager always has a crooked smile on his face. Overall, not a good place to eat. It’s unfortunate there aren’t many other options in the immediate area.

Overpriced because they are the only game in town after dark, and their food sits out for days. The custome rservice is above par, but their menu is dated fading and fallign apart, and the food is all overpriced, especially considering its been sitting in the display case for days at a time

tried this place a number of times, though i do admit i usually get something simple like bagels or an egg & cheese. never been disappointed. the lox spread is really good(better than the veggie). Prices are reasonable. Usually pay under $ 5 for whatever I get to eat + an iced coffee. the people here are VERY friendly, which makes coming back enjoyable. only downside is that it’s cash only.

If this restaurant was located anywhere else, I would give it a 2-star review. HOWEVER, it is pretty much the only thing near Maimonides so it gets a 3-star review just based on the fact there is nothing else around. The food isn’t great, but it’s also not going to kill you. I try to stick with really basic items here like grilled cheese, french fries and coffee. I tried a hamburger once and the meat patty was just a cheap«beef»(?) patty. I wouldn’t order the burger again because the look of it grossed me out. That being said, breakfast here isn’t bad at all. Their coffee is decent and the toasted corn muffin with butter is delicious(seriously, get that for breakfast). If I came back to Maimonides, I would probably keep coming just because it’s 9,000x better than the cafeteria. It’s also 24-hours so that’s a win.

Nothing special. Just a convenient deli located directly across the street from Maimonides Hospital. Good in a pinch when you want something quick and also within close proximity to the hospital. My job requires frequent trips to area hospitals so this deli comes in handy.

It has okay food, I mean hey the perk is that this place is 24 hours. Good chicken noodle soup. Using chicken breast, it also has carrots and celery. That’s all. Sometimes simplicity is best. Thats all I buy when I am at Maimonides. I once tried the turkey sandwich and it was soooooooooo dry. No amount of toppings would wake that sandwich up. I guess the only good thing is the hours, but be mindful of the fluctuations in price. Today you might pay 3.75 for something and tomorrow, new person at register, the same item will be 4.00. (Parking available on street on Fort Hamilton Parkway, there are meters at certain points and alternate side parking at others)
