this review is about the location only. slightly smaller spot, a little dirtier than the others i go to and not as «nice» inside. however, the staff is super nice and helpful(i witnessed one barista looking up online what kind of coffee maker a customer had to try and figure out the best grind. she spent considerable time trying to get the answer and i guess they couldn’t confirm the info, but she told the customer that she could bring the grind back if it didn’t work out.)

Best Starbucks location that I’ve ever been to. Now, I moved here from New York a few months ago, so maybe my basis of comparison is off cause everyone is really nice here? I really don’t know. This location is small and it’s hard to find seating during peak times but the staff are amazing. I mean, I realize it’s a freakin’ Starbucks but often when you walk in there, you feel like you’re being taken care of by a connoisseur who loves their craft. It’s really sweet. Countless times I’ve observed the baristas engaged in a conversation with patrons about the order in a way that makes you forget you’re in a Starbucks :) Once during peak after-school hours when the place was teaming with parents and kids, I watched a barista interact with customers with such consistent professionalism, attentiveness and wit, completely unfazed by the volume of orders, that I though to myself«damn, I hope she gets promoted or a raise or something». The thing about it that strikes me the most is that it’s not put on. They really seem to have fun with what they do.

Great service and they always get my order right! One complaint is that sometimes the tables are left messy and aren’t cleaned up promptly.

Ok service. But this location is messy! I have been sitting here a more than ½ hour, no cleaning up! This big chain obviously don’t care!

Stewart and the staff here are excellent. As expected, coffee is great too. I’ll be back.

This Starbucks was great for me, close to work and a highly efficient staff. Especially during the Morning times I would come in. It always seems busy to me which is a good sign, my green tea frappé comes out beautiful every time. But like I said its busy so prepare yourself for a little wait never any longer than six minutes if you’re at the end of the line. They have free wifi and its a good place to study while sipping your fav drink.

I used to love this Starbucks and how friendly the staff was. Now, they are usually rude and act like they are too busy to help you, even though there are only 4 people inside.

A fine Starbucks location, but with very little seating, especially for such a busy location. Unless you come at a very off time, don’t expect to find seating. Also, on more than one occasion the women’s bathroom has been filthy, the toilet paper dispenser empty(sometimes with a roll on the floor and sometimes not even), soap empty, etc. And no baby changing station. The employees are friendly and drinks are consistent as they always are at Starbucks, but the facilities don’t merit more than 2 stars.

+ wifi is smooth and fast + workers are friendly and knowledgable + coffee is as expected — to me a good thing + not usually very crowded –small, very few seating –a permanent draft of cold air from their vents(even in December) –one small table outside It’s that time of the season to study for students! Thus, I embark on my hunt for places to plop down for a few hours to get some work done while staying completely alert/awake — in comes Starbucks to save the day! Came here twice to study and found both times pleasant except for getting cold due to the cold air that flows throughout the place with no restrictions. Workers claim there is nothing they can do about it either, which is weird. But the coffee is good, the place is clean, and if you manage to nab a seat, no one kicks you out or gives you weird glares. I do wish they played some of that awesome coffee house music though, it’s something I’ve gotten used to at other Starbucks. So next time you want to drop by for a longer period of time, just grab an extra jacket and you’re set!

Am I the only person who comes to this location and has my order made incorrectly every single time? I thought coffee was the easiest thing to order off the menu. That, with a flavor, and cream. I just don’t get it… it’s always handed to me and the order told to me is always not what I order. I always ask for them to re-make it. Which they do. But between the eye rolling, the sighing, and the extra time spent just makes the experience irritating. Oh well. I still love starbucks. But this location probably won’t be an option anymore. I hope nobody else experiences this every time at this location!

I don’t usually go to Starbucks, but I went here with my gf’s family and everything was pretty good. It’s really just a standard Starbucks that is a bit smaller than most. I wouldn’t recommend trying to study here because of the size(only a few small tables), but other than that you can expect your regular Starbucks experience.

Excellent service and delicious coffee. One of the few Starbucks that doesn’t make my drink overly sweet. There’s always a line, but it goes really fast. Definitely worth the short wait.

As per usual, Starbucks did it again! Consistent atmosphere, pleasant staff, and efficient service(not to mention, delicious coffee)! I went here for Frappy Hour — my favorite time of day! — and despite the crowd, I didn’t have to wait long for my Mocha Cookie Crumble Frap. This is a great location for Starbucks, too. The atmosphere of Coolidge Corner is homey, but young, and there’s a lot of great dining and shopping here. So, if you’re looking for a caffeine fix that you can trust and love, stop in here!

They are always busy but can never seem to keep up with the demand. At least its good when if does eventually make its way past the counter.

This starbucks is a bit of a last resort. Not because it isn’t clean or has horrible service. To be fair they have decent service. But because I just don’t like when people don’t take their jobs seriously. I’ve tried to get a coffee here a few times around 9:30 and the doors have been locked, even though they close at 10pm. And then last night while sitting in the store, one of the employees tapes a handwritten sign saying, «closing @ 9:30 for mothers day.» I mean, that’s pretty hilarious. Just deal with the fact you have a job and stick to your hours please :)

Fast! Super friendly! Wish they had more tables. And located next to the Brookline Booksmith, so how can I complain?

This has kind of become«my Starbucks» in that it’s the one I tend to go to the most. They make the right combination of sweetener to coffee/espresso and my drinks taste consistent from this store which is hard to say for other places. Even when they’re slammed the staff maintains a friendly attitude which is great. The only reason I’m docking a star is they have a few staff members that will occasional ask me strange questions or get my drink wrong. However, they always apologize and make me a new beverage with no hassle. By strange questions I mean I order a simple drink(nothing with crazy whistles and bells like simple peoples half caff double pump whatever whatever drinks) and when I order my simple drink they will ask me a million questions about what I want and whether or not I want all of these extra things in it. I just want a coffee. Just a coffee.

I have been here many times and service is usually fine and fairly quick as it’s a busy location. This past Monday, however, was a totally different story. It’s Monday at 10am and Coolidge Corner isn’t the busiest place at this time. There were only about three people in line and it took forever for it to move. Not sure if they were short staffed or what… The cashier was toasting a bagel while the barista was just waiting for the next drink order instead of taking initiative and asking the next customer in line. My iced coffee had a lot of room in the top which I did not request. but the taste/sweetener was done correctly. But it was quite inefficient…

[ Insert requisite apology for reviewing a chain/starbucks in particular here] The people at this Starbucks are so great that they make it worth selecting from the blur of chain-utility coffee shops and remarking upon. This location gets a lot of traffic but the quality of the drinks doesn’t decay when things get hectic and the baristas really know how to get through the line efficiently. The staff is really friendly and go above and beyond what is required of them. I once bought a coffee and then, being a huge klutz, dropped it as soon as I stepped outside, and when I came back and immediately ordered the same thing(sometime you just really need your coffee) the barista asked what happened and made me the same drink for free. I’ve also seen a cashier offer to take change out of the tip jar when a customer didn’t have quite enough for his drink. These guys make a normally soulless chain feel like a neighborhood place. In terms of the food/drinks. It is a Starbucks. You know the drill. The staff makes the drinks especially well and unpacks the food from its shrink wrap with as much skill as anyone. There are some downsides. The location is quite busy in the mornings and packed till 1 or 2PM on the weekends. You’re pretty unlikely to get seating during these busy times.

This is probably one of the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. The front seating area is definitely falling apart. There is damage to the furniture and walls, and there are spiders crawling around. There is no free wifi here, unless you use and activate a Starbucks card or something and you get two free hours. It seems like quite a process when you could go to Peets, Panera, or even Paris Creperie and get easier access to free wifi. This is not a good café to work at. The tables are so close together and so close to the kitchen area, which is so huge. I would only come back here if I was both desperate and in need of something convenient.
