Dunkin’ Donuts

This place is very hit or miss! I always get the same thing and it’s never the same. Some days it’s okay some days it’s awful. The service is hit or miss too. Some days everyone’s smiling and nice others I feel bad for having bothered. Most days I walk past this to hit the next one down the street.

I received an unbelievably rude service yesterday about 5 pm at DD location at 265 Boylston St, Brookline, MA 2 445.
Driving down Rt 9 I saw a promotion 99c for a small latte between 2 and 6 pm.
When I went inside this location, there were three employees talking very loudly to each other. It took some time for the employee behind the counter to finish his conversation and ask how they can help me.
Firstly, the associate denied having 99c promotion for a small latte. After I purchased regular ice coffee and went outside and saw 99 c promotion right in front of DD building. I went back inside and pointed it to the associate. He had no idea about the promotion. He went outside to check it out. I asked him to refund me the money for regular ice coffee and charge me 99 c for small ice latte.
He began lying right to my face and said I asked him for medium size latte.
I asked for his name and he covered his name tag. I asked him to put his arm down and he refused and went into silly talk «this is my arm and I don’t have to move it».
This is the first time in my life that Dunkin Donuts employee or any other public place employee refused to give his name. The location totally sucks. Avoid if you can.

This DD is slightly bigger in comparison to others. Service is pretty quick even when the lines seem long. The workers seem friendly and a little chatty. Nice sitting area and there’s also a TV in here.
Eventhough i don’t drive, it’s nice that there’s a drive way and spacious.

Supposed to open at 5:30 and not open.

I give the 2 stars out of kindness for the service provided at this location… My dissatisfaction is with the BRAND, not the location.
When did they stop serving real hazelnut coffee? and when did the regular coffee start tasting like it was made from tobacco leaves?
i miss good coffee.

I used to be a frequent customer at this location. They give good service. It does get busy since they have college students from The New England Institute of Art there.
