Always thought that Rogers & Hollands would be my jeweler for life since the day that my then husband to be and I walked in the store and purchased our wedding bands. Since then we purchased several pieces both for myself(a one of a kind Mothers’ Ring) and for my daughter(her sweet 16 amethyst ring). However, the customer service has headed south FAST. My mother’s ring has never once been fixed to my utmost satisfaction and seems to be in at least 2 times per year for fixing of one sort or another. I mean if they fixed it right once, shouldn’t it stay fixed? It’s not like I’m boxing with the thing on or gardening! Then there’s the time I had my diamond wedding set checked and cleaned. I asked the counter lady if it had a clean bill of health, she told me «yep, all set to go!». Well I gave it a once over with my naked eye and could see that one of the prongs holding my marquis diamond was bent all the way over to the other side of the stone! I was horrified. I mean isn’t that the point of getting it cleaned and checked? I will give Heidi, the salesperson whom once gave me such great customer service that I stayed and bought more several years ago, now located at Mayfair, a chance to make this right. But I WILL not be visiting the staff at the Brookfield Square location any longer.
