Just had«delivery» here. Food was two stars(bland for Chinese. Very little meat… More watery celery and snap peas) I say«delivery» because they delivered to within a block and then called and waited in their car for me to come get the food.

Wish I could give zero stars but worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my entire life. I didn’t think chicken and broccoli could taste so bad. DONOTORDERFROMHERE!

I am a fair person so they are receiving 1 star because they arrived very quickly. Ok, pleasantries out of the way that is the only thing that they did accurately. The specified preparations for mere order must have been suggestions because they were completely ignored. The food was poorly cooked. The pork fried rice appeared to have been at least a day old. It was hard, only dotted with charred onions no bean sprouts no vegetables no nothing. The egg roll was dry with no crunch to it whatsoever. It also had a strange taste to it. Not to mention it was half the normak size it was more of fried dumpling. The crabsticks were oversized and greasy. And the imitation crab meat breaks apart like rice without being chewed. And to add insult to injury I spent over $ 20 and not even a free beverage was awarded. This is the first and last time this not yummy house will ever get my business and the delivery driver was rude. Tuh!

One of the best Chinese food and delivery service I’ve had. The area is convenient with street parking, the restaurant itself is clean and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. I love their General Tso’s special!

Just horrible food. Bland, expensive, and do not even offer any coupons for free soda like the other Chinese food restaurants. Will not order here again.

My meal sucked ! I order chicken lo mein and I didn’t get noodles ! My husband got sesame chicken it was bone dry and my son’s chicken and fries were horrible(how do you mess up chicken and fries) and on top of everything else I order ice tea and I never got it and when I called she said«I’ll give it to you next time» EXCUSEME ?! There won’t be a next time !

The quality of the food has gone way down. This place was good about a year ago but I found out the cook changed last year. Hence the sub par food. If they can’t get«pork lo mein» or «chicken and broccoli» right, there’s no hope for a Chinese takeout place. LOOKELSEWHERE for decent Chinese food!

I have been a customer of Yummy since they opened. However, tonight is the night I have to stop eating there and I recommend others to reconsider eating there as well. I ordered orange chicken(it comes with broccoli) and it was great… Until I bit into the broccoli and realized the broccoli had gone bad and they prepared it and sold it anyway. Any place that sells spoiled produce will probably sell spoiled meat as well. Yuck.

My boyfriend and I ordered food from here specifically because they are known for not using food enhancers such as MSG, which is found in most chinese foods in America. Now we do believe that the meal we got was definitely healthy and free of MSG and other bad stuff. However it was probably the blandest, and flavorless food we ever had in our lives. Really it had very little flavor to it at all. I make healthy meals all the time that are equally tasty and healthy, it is not that hard. Our food also did not taste fresh and it looked like it was sitting out for a while. Eh I really do not have much more to say other then this was slightly disappointing. I think we prefer the regular chinese food calories to this.

I ordered take out on a Friday night. Three combo meals was ordered but only one egg roll was delivered. When I called to find out why the women on the telephone apologized and said that my next order will include two egg rolls(not happy). Then we started to eat. The egg foo young was not tasty and the brown sauce was bland. The chicken with orange flavor had chicken with a strange texture. The chicken and broccoli was chewy and over cooked. I spent almost $ 30 for a meal for my family for all of us just to throw it out. Will never order from this«yummie» place again.

Placed an order through Grub Hub and the restaurant had to call me 10 minutes after to reconfirm everything I wanted bc the computer went down! I know it was raining out tonight but it took exactly 2 hours for the order to arrive. I had to call Grub Hub twice. They were great by the way and offered me a $ 10 refund when the restaurant refused to do anything. As for the food, it of course was cold, very greasy, cheap meat and it seemed overly prepared with MSG. Gross. Threw it all out. Never again.

Not so yummy. Ordered through grubhub and waited over 1.5hrs for our delivery. FAIL. We ordered: Fried cheese wontons(aka crabmeat rangoon/Yummy’s has almost no crab) Fried crab sticks with shrimp fried rice(I counted 3 shrimp, 2 of which were half pieces) Sesame chicken with pork fried rice — I did not sample as I don’t eat meat from Asian restaurants that I am not familiar with. Food arrived cold and bland. I gave this place an additional star only because the staff spoke fluent english — I REALLY liked that, especially since I was frustrated that our delivery took so long. I’m still not too familiar with the area but am sure there are other places with better fare.

Horrible. The chicken wings look yellow. Everything else is almost ok, the service is good though

I am not sure if I caught this place on an off evening, but I was not terribly impressed. I ordered Fried chicken wings and my favorite standby, Singapore Mei Fun. The wings were smallish, dry, and not very tasty. The Mei Fun was acceptable, but nothing special. I ordered it extra spicy, and it was medium to mild at best. The shreds of pork were fatty, and it had only a few bits of chicken and veggies. There are several Chinese places around, and I’ll try another one soon.

With one Chinese restaurant already across the street, apparently another one was needed. Yummy is exactly that, pretty yummy. It’s roomier then the one across the street. I thought my chicken and cashew was pretty good, even though it’s basically the same taste as the one across the street. I guess 2 Chinese restaurants will be dueling for«Best of Eastchester Rd.»
