Service was OK. Food was not so good, burger was«hockey puck» overcooked, the server never asked me what temperature I wanted it to. Menu was greasy/dirty, not very sanitary. Location is not great.

My go to place on the weekends for breakfast! Service served with a smile always. Can’t speak on any of the food besides Belgian waffles and turkey bacon.

Do not get the buffalo chicken wings I had to ask for hot sauce on the side because it was plain kind of soggy fried chicken

There is nothing better than NY and NJ diners. Fresh, hot, tasty, quick all served with an attitude. A good attitude. Give you what you want, no bs. Egg white omelette with jalapeños, ham and cheese was delicious.

Riverdale is so lucky to have this amazing diner. Wait staff are very nice and competent. The food speaks for itself. Delicious, literally everything I’ve ever had here has been amazing. Try the rumanian steak, or turkey platter. Or if you want something lighter, get an egg salad or tuna platter. Very light, no bread, so yummy and filling.

I’ve been coming here for years. As long as you come on a weekday, breakfast, burgers, and wraps are delicious at any time of day. Weekends are another story. Every single weekend I’ve come here my order takes forever and is always messed up(no fault of the cooks, it’s always the waitress’s fault). Great Irish Breakfast, milkshakes, and burger deluxe. The all day breakfast is also a plus and a great price for all that food.

As good as the food is, delivery leaves a hell of a lot to be desired. The last 4 orders, coffee spills all oven the food en route to my house. Them it takes another 20 minutes to get a new order. Then it takes an hour or more to receive any food. Also, the order taker who works on the weekend is Horribly rude, and has hung on me. Sorry, after 4 tries, I will find another place.

Eh. My breakfast wrap came without the wrap initially. Then when the wrap was added, it stuck to the paper, so they needed to put a new wrap. My first time going there. It’s possible it was just a one time mistake. Not sure.

In the dumpy diner class, this place is five stars. Friendly, fast, courteous service. The food is good quality, basic diner food. Definitely good quality for the price and we will be coming back here a lot.

Came here because of the very long wait at ihop around three block. Service is quick and the staff friendly. I had the lamb stew and my God it was fantastic. Have it with a side of rice and it’s heaven. My family had the waffles and eggs and those were standard. Overall impressive and will come again just for that lamb. Lol

Attentive service from the moment you walk in Our waitress Joanie was sweet, great service with a smile. Checked up on us a few times to make sure we were ok. My breakfast sandwich and home fries were delicious. Great neighborhood staple!

I used to walk past this diner all the time when I was in high school and I longed for the day I had the money to actually eat in there. Well finally I had the money and I had some pancakes for breakfast and it was so amazing and lived up to my broke high school self

I ordered here one Saturday afternoon on whim off of Seamless. The food was hot, fresh and tasty… The delivery man was kind and courteous, and he got here in twenty minutes!

A friend of mine recommended this place for great burgers and i also read in the reviews that the soup is really good. I went to order online through Unilocal and there were no burgers or soups listed! I was disappointed, but hungry and the place has 4 stars so i ordered a chicken philly and the spinach pie. The order arrived in 45 min which is pretty typical, definitely not fast. The spinach pie was AWESOME and really big, which i guess it should be for $ 6.95. The chicken philly, tho, was terrible. The chicken was almost burnt and really chewy. The toppings listed were almost non existent and the bun was greasy. I will probably go in and see if I can get a burger because my friend said its the best he’s ever had, and i will probably even order the spinach pie again, but I also probably will never try anything else on the menu.

The breakfast is amazing. Never know what to expect coming out of the Bronx but this place is better than IHOP or Denny’s any day.

Food is quite flavorful. Can’t remember the exact name of what I had, but it was a Dale’s specialty item. The«Bronx» something. It was really good, especially the sauce that came with it. The chicken noodle soup was also very good

Good morning DABRONX! Hunger pangs at 7:55AM urge me for breakfast. Turkey sausage comes with eggs in any style, potatoes, and toast with butter culminate a worthy $ 7.50. Service is efficient and the cooks hustle and bustle efficiently and orderly behind the counter. I walked in to place my order after briefly scanning the takeout menu and within a mere five minutes my meal was in my hands. Whoa! Portions are abundant and I engulf the whole platter at my workplace in one sitting. Solid. The server/cashier is bilingual in English and Spanish to serve the Kingsbridge/Marble Hill area of the Bronx. The cashier appears to work hard and did not give me any rude scowl looks, despite of the obvious, that I am not local to this area. Priced reasonable. Dale Restaurant dba Louie’s has a charming old fashioned diner atmosphere of a 1940 or 1950’s Retro look with booths and in-ground circular stools. Opens 24⁄7 and walking distance from the 1 train at 231st Street station.

Louie’s Dale Diner(who’s in charge, Louie or Dale?) has a charming old-school«diner» ambiance with booth and bar seating. I have eaten here twice during lunch hours, and was swiftly met with a friendly greeting on both occasions. My last visit was Friday the 13th before Valentine’s Day, and there were lots of endearing decorations for the holiday. I ordered the«big dale» ranch burger and they asked me how I wanted it cooked, which wasn’t the case for several nearby places. The burger, which was $ 8.50 after tax, exceeded expectations; it won’t leave a long-lasting impression, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and wanted more when it was gone. Fortunately, my first experience warranted another visit, because otherwise I would never have had… The Reuben! It was fantastic, immensely filling, and on par with Katz’s and Carnegie but at less than half the price. It didn’t come with Russian or Thousand Island dressing, but the waitress was happy to give me some upon request.
