BADEXPERIENCE I have never written a Unilocal review but felt compelled to do so here. I had an iPhone screen replaced in July(replacement #1). The next month my phone cracked again and I had it replaced again in September with iCracked(replacement #2). The technician who replaced my phone the second time(let’s call him technician #2) said that they company is supposed to replace the broken screens with certified iCracked screens, but that the screen that technician #1 replaced mine was a much cheaper version(the hypothesis being that technician #1 pocketed the money). Technician #2 then took the original screen with him so that I had no proof of the incident. He said he would send me a picture of it so I could take the issue up with iCracked but he never did. I also called iCracked several times to sort this out and felt I was justified asking for money back on replacement #1(idea being that the phone wouldn’t have cracked the second time if it hadn’t been replaced with a cheaper alternative). No one got back to me even after several calls. Moral of the story: I wouldn’t recommend this service at all, since the technicians and customer service is unreliable. The fact that they have people using cheap, shoddy alternative parts is a huge issue. If customer service had resolved the issue I would have been satisfied, but they didn’t and no one followed up with me. The indication from my conversation with Technician #2 is that this is a more systemic issue that happens all the time. Don’t let this happen to you.
