Hands down the best I’ve cream I’ve ever had and I *love* ice cream. Wherever you are, this place is worth the trip. Great staff, generous portions and absolutely delicious. I’ve never tried a flavor I didn’t love, from simple vanilla to decadent espresso chip, all amazing!

Adorable shop, awesome location, a ton of choices(impossible to choose), generous servings(a small is HUGE) at reasonable cost and the most delicious, creamy, homemade ice cream served up with friendly, fast service. What’s not to love?

Two words: dirty dough. Order it. You won’t regret it. I visited the Daily Scoop a few weeks ago. The ice cream is homemade, rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. There is a large variety of options and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

This is my favorite ice cream place in Bristol. They are also the most well priced in the downtown area and within walking distance of all of the downtown. There ice cream is excellent. And they have multiple unique flavors as well as you classics. My two favorites are the Dirty Dough and Banana Peanut. I recommend stopping in and seeing what else they have. The girls working there are friendly as well, so that’s great.

This isn’t the best ice cream I’ve ever had, but it is very good. I can’t find enough to complain about to subtract a star. They have a lot of flavors to choose from, if you can’t find something, you’re too picky. The coconut ice cream had real coconut strands in it. It’s around the same price as Ben & Jerry’s and maybe a little cheaper. The flavors are inventive without being quite as ridiculous as Ben & Jerry’s. You get a big portion too, don’t order more than a single scoop unless you REALLY need some ice cream.

Forget Grey’s, The Daily Scoop is the place to go for Ice Cream in Bristol. Had the Coffee Oreo ice cream, so good! Full of crunchy Oreo chunks and coffee goodness. Also recommend the Dirty Dough! All of their flavors are homemade, with no artificial dyes or additives. Friendly service and a nice patio to enjoy your scoop!

Unless an ice cream shop gives me an intestinal bug, I think I’d automatically give a ice cream joint 4 stars. I mean, it’s ice cream and ice cream is just freaking awesome. But here’s why I would give Daily Scoop 6 stars. A small couple runs this location and another location in Barrington and just churn out super high quality, handmade ice cream, made from natural ingredients. After some research, it seems like they run up quite the number of accolades in New England. I stopped by recently and just completely fell in love with the Caramel Crunch. Handmade caramel ice cream, with a generous amount of cashews and bits of crunch. Just because that isn’t awesome enough, I opted for a dollop of Reese’s Pour-able. My wife made a great observation of my response of my first bite; my face lit up and I smiled like a kid who just tried some awesome treat for the first time. It’s that good. Trust me. My wife was ga-ga about the black raspberry chip lowfat yogurt she tried and while it’s not my cup of tea, it looked great. Plus, it’s right next to Independence Park, so you can get some delicious ice cream and then hang out at the park, check out the harbor and take in some nice weather. I get that it can be a smidge pricey, but again trust me, it’s 110% worth it.

So, it’s not the ice cream that’s bad. Went there tonight(08÷21÷13) about 8:30 to get my granddaughter an ice cream. When we walked into shop, ALL you could smell was some kind of disinfectant cleaner. It was OVERPOWERING! They have to wait until they close before they use this stuff! I’m sure they start cleaning early so they can get out of there at «exactly» closing time. Think about your customers…

Craving good ‘olé, home-made ice cream on our return trip from Newport, my husband and I strolled through the quaint town of Bristol, only to come across this cute gem of an ice cream shop across a local park. At every ice cream/froyo shop, I like to request half of one flavor and half of another for my single scoop or small. I have never run into any problems or even hesitation at previous ice cream encounters. When I was torn between the Apple Pie and Carrot Cake flavors here, I could not dare stray away from my ice cream habit. Well, when I requested half of each of these unique flavors, I was bluntly told that it’s impossible and even a small portion of more than one flavor would equate to at least a double scoop. I’m fairly lactose intolerant(though I love ice cream), so I knew I didn’t want a double scoop of this premium ice cream. Well, I still had to have my 2 flavors, so I requested a partial scoop of each flavor and had to shell out the price for a double scoop. I came out wondering…“What is the big deal about just providing half a scoop of each flavor?“ Nevertheless, the ice cream was good, although quite rich and a little thick for my taste. The ice cream also runs on the pricier side!

Rich decadent ice cream, a kiddie size can be just enough. Sometimes, a small is way too much because the ice cream is so rich. It’s pretty pricey, though. A small cone is 3 bucks and change! The service is pretty quick and the staff is super nice. Make sure you bring cash, though. They dont accept anything else.

Went immediately after fried seafood to ice cream indulgence. «Dirty Dough» — my friend sold to me as chocolate ice cream with cookie dough, PB and PB cups. While I didn’t taste either of the latter two(sad face) I did enjoy the sticky bits rolling off of my sugar cone which was fresh and had necessary crunch. A kiddie is adequately small if you’re full, and will run you $ 3 and some change. I loved watching one of the workers make fresh waffle cones!

Please don’t go anywhere! An employee at the Barrington location told us you may be closing the Bristol location after this summer? We love the Bristol location, I mean could it get any better? Grab some of the best ice cream you’ve ever had(ever), and walk across the street to sit at the water! The ice cream is stuff I’ve dreamt of… chunks of the good stuff in every bite! Service is always incredible, the staff is always super friendly, never stressed out(every when there is one of them running the whole operation), I can not say enough about this place :)

The Daily Scoop is an adorable little ice cream shop in the heart of Bristol. It is perfect for just coming off the bike path, after dinner at a nearby restaurant or just going to treat yourself. My favorite flavors have to be their Oreo, Coffee Oreo, Strawberry and Cookie Dough. I also love their Rum Raisin but, they only serve that at the Barrington location without having to buy a pint size here. There ice cream is very rich and creamy made with the freshest ingredients everyday day. They give a generous portion of what you pay for. I would recommend The Daily Scoop to anyone seeking delicious ice cream on a hot summer day!

Talk about a prime location! Directly across the street from Independence Park the Daily Scoop is «the» spot in Bristol when spring and summer roll around. Right off the bat they only accept cash so make sure you run to the ATM before coming here. Now I will admit I am more of an Eskimo King guy myself, but when a drive down to Swansea isn’t in the cards, my wife and I just take the 2 minute walk down to Daily Scoop when that ice cream craving kicks in. They do have a few tables right outside in front of their location if you feel like chillin outside, taking in the scenery of the Bristol Harbor while gettin your nom nom on! Ice cream, sundaes, sorbet, they have it all and are all very tasty. What I love about this location is that if you are out to dinner say at Quito’s you can just walk across the street and grab some tasty dessert. Plus if you feel like walking while you enjoy your ice cream, just mosey on back across the street and take a stroll through the park along the water, have a seat on one of the benches right on the wall of the harbor. Kick back, take in the sights of the harbor while you are enjoying your favorite ice cream. That’s my definition of a good day in Bristol.

HOLYCOW! This is the best ice cream I have ever had. I am not the owner, an employee, a family member. I’m not even from the Bristol area or a a long time loyalist to this shop. We recently spent the day at Colt State park and as we were heading home, we thought ice cream sounded like a good idea. I pulled out my phone and identified this as the closest spot. What luck! The ice cream was creamy and delicious. It was at the perfect temperature and consistency, maybe even a little on the soft side, which I LOVE. I had the coffee Oreo in a waffle cone and it was to die for. I wouldn’t ordinarily consider reviewing an ice cream shop. I don’t know, I guess I thought ice cream is ice cream. I’ve had good ice cream before, but this is great. Others coming close are Brickleys, Inside Scoop, and Sunshine Creamery… but Daily Scoop is in a class by itself. Plus, you’re right on Thames in Bristol, which is a great spot to stroll around and the view is fantastic, with the water right across the street. GREAT. Just great.

I admit that upon hearing the word«scoop,» I don’t always think of ice cream. However, the Daily Scoop changed that for me! It’s delicious, fresh, and a crazy percentage of butterfat. It’s a five tail wagger… way better than Gray’s.

OhMyGOODNESS. The raspberry sorbet was, hands down, the best I have ever had. And I take my raspberry sorbet very seriously. It was the perfect texture, and not to sugary or syrupy — like sorbet is at other establishments all too often. And while I can’t consume dairy, my boyfriend swears the cookie dough is the best he’s ever had. And they make their own waffle cone right there. The smell is intoxicating. Cash only, no public restrooms.
