Went by Chili’s today for lunch with the family after shopping. Ordered the endless soup and salad… not once did my server ask if I wanted another soup or salad. Came time for the bill I asked the server if they provided Military Discount, most legitimate chains offer a discount with ID card, he said yes brought my ticket back and my whopping discount was .65 cents on a $ 40 meal what a disgrace. Since Chili’s is hurting so bad for money I put another tip line under the gratuity and refunded the .65 cent back on a separate line thanking them for being so generous. Thank Chili’s for your kind gesture and support of our military and family… I will not be back at this location.

I found hair in my food! This is the second time in 6 months I have been to a chili’s and found hair in my food. The first time was in Harrisonburg, now in Bristol. I will NOT be going to Chili’s again!

Exit 7 off I-81: Try the Santa fe Grilled Chicken Salad. It’s a hearty, but healthy meal.

Got the fajitas. Came with a «tree» of condiments. Thumbsized dishes that you had to «dig» the condiment out of. Portions of condiments jokingly small and they charge for another tree! Avoid the fajitas at all costs. Management needs to check their menu again. I won’t go back to a Chili’s ever.

For the record I hate it when waitresses ask«do you need change» its my money yes I do need change do you need a tip? Good food just annoyed when people ask that.

I do hate chain restaurants. But sometimes when you are on the road you have a Forrest Gump moment(«You never know what you’ll get) and choose what you figure will be bland and safe. .…Which led us to this Chili’s for lunch at Bristol’s Exit 7(in Bristol, all of the big chain restaurants are at I-81’s Exit 7). If you don’t know how to get there, this place looks impossible to find. It is in the corner of a shopping center but there are limited entrances and we ended up almost driving to Gate City and back to get there. Hint: drive *past* the restaurant and turn left. The service was okay. Not exceptional but entirely satisfactory. The food was better than I expected. We had lunch combos. My wife had chili and a quesadilla, I had a spicy chicken and sausage soup and sliders(I think they call them Burger Bites). All 4 were quite tasty, with the exception of the chili, which had a good meaty flavor but an unpleasant consistency that reminded me of the chili sold at Wendy’s. All in all, the experience improved my opinion of the Chili’s chain, and if you’re a fan of the chain, this one does the brand well IMO.

Food is consistent and reasonably priced. For a chain restaurant, an easy 4⁄5 stars! Fajitas, chicken dishes, burgers are great. Margaritas are definitely consistent and earn 4⁄5 stars.
