After a paint fiasco at another Ace store and needing to rectify the situation after the store had closed (at 3PM !!) I was nervous upon entering the Bristol Ace.
But alas, all my fears were calmed and I got what I needed, no issues whatsoever. Friendly, helpful staff and there are always PLENTY of people to help you. Sure, prices can be a bit higher than the big box stores but it’s also way less stressful to visit here.
They carry Benjamin Moore paints, they’ve got TONS of lawn and garden care items, electrical, plumbing, lighting… basically everything you’d need for all of your home improvement projects.
They also have tool rentals. Generally speaking, I’d say Bristol Ace Hardware is worth the drive.

I was looking for assistance/​advice on a painting project and stopped at Home Depot. Hey, I can read a can as well as the next guy. walked out… went to Bristol Ace and Jon gave me good advice on what I needed to do and showed me what I needed to buy… I highly recommend this place. it is a bit longer of a ride for me, but well worth it for the time they take to assist you!!!
