I donated blood here twice. The first time was just a screening and they paid $ 25. The second time was a full donation and they paid $ 50. It was a good experience. I had no issues.

$ 50 in cash for«donating» your blood. They take about the same amount of blood as if you donated to the Red Cross. I’ve been going here for approximately 6 – 7 years and they’ve always been clean.

More people should know about this place. Read the other reviews, they’re right on. The staff is great, very friendly. I’ve had my blood drawn by Red Cross and a few other places, yet one of the guys on the staff here(sorry, I forgot his name) did probably the best, least painful blood drawing ever. I winked at him and asked if he was always that gentle. Well, maybe I didn’t wink. They need more people to give blood, though, as they often can’t fill the contracts they take on for the research companies, so tell your friends. $ 50 every 8 weeks! Ask them where the blood is going, and they’ll tell you. Really, more people should take advantage of them. I think Adrienne might be slightly wrong, though, as I think sometimes they do give blood to Red Cross. Whether it’s when they don’t fill the quotas or only if Red Cross makes a contract, I don’t know, but I seem to remember that coming up.

I’ve been doing business with these folks for many years-got me through some pretty broke grad school times. It’s an easy, fast, $ 50 every 2 months. You go in, donate blood(takes about 30 minutes), they give you cookies, a lollipop, some water, your $ 50, and you’re done! You must wait 56 days between donations. The staff is really nice, and Tom(the director) is just the greatest! This place passes your blood on to be used in medical research, not as transfusions or to otherwise be given to another person. I dunno if that matters to anyone, just thought I’d toss it in there, since I knew it.
