Charles River Community Health

I wrote this review when they were St. Joseph’s Community Health and noticed it did not transfer over when they changed names and location. I would like to add that the new location is very nice, it’s huge compared to their last location.
I started coming here when I began to have sever asthma symptoms because it is close by and much cheaper than the ER. I have always had to come in on an emergency basis and the office does their best to squeeze me in as soon as possible while still working around my work schedule. Because I am always having to come in at the last minute, I usually see someone new each time. All the doctors/​nurse practitioners are lovely. I can’t say I’ve had any negative experience here. I have had appointments at 8:30a, 11:45a, and 4p, and I was seen on time every time. I always have my initial appointment, one a few days later to check up on me, and then another one the next week to make sure all medication is working.
My insurance is not great and I pay a good amount for these visits but absolutely nothing compared to one ER visit ($ 1,000) and all they did was tell me nothing was wrong. That clearly wasn’t true since I ended up at Joeseph’s just a week later. I am grateful to have such wonderful staff just down the street from me. I will continue to return here for my medical needs as long as I live here.

Useless. They never answer the phone — just tell you to leave a message.
Then they never call you back! Ever!
