I’ve visited Dr. Larsen for several years and have had fantastic results from his work whereas most other practitioners I’ve seen about the same problems haven’t had any beneficial impact at all. My father has also had very good results from Dr. Larsen’s care. It’s true that Dr. Larsen uses a lot of alternative techniques, not the standard CRACKING that another reviewer mentioned. My own experience is that I’ve had much better results with the various forms of chiropractic(such as Network Chiropractic and the variation that Dr. Larsen uses) that DONOT use the standard CRACKING techniques, but use energy techniques instead. I consider that to be a plus. Dr. Larsen also uses«muscle testing» for diagnosis, and for anyone who hasn’t learned about that being a common, respectable way to achieve a diagnosis, I can imagine that it does seem very odd, and even hokey. One thing I really respect is that Dr. Larsen doesn’t encourage coming back repeatedly unless that’s really necessary; usually it hasn’t been in my case except for a couple of very intractable problems.

I have to agree with BM. This was one of the weirdest experiences of my life. He is a very nice guy, but I think I went to a quack. I’ve had two visits and my back still hurts. Here are some interesting things I remember from my visit: 1. I have figure eight energies. This is apparently bad. Dr. Larsen waved his hands over me to fix this 2. Healing me involves pushing my arms and legs down while touching various points on my body. If he can push my leg down, then my body is out of whack. But after he touched a couple of places, he supposedly couldn’t push my legs down anymore. Looked more like he was faking trying to push my limbs down. Like a wrestler. 3. He couldn’t push my arm down, so he brought out a bag of pills which he said were«poison» and put them on me. Because the pills were poison, even on the outside of my body, he could push my arm down. He did the same by asking me to say 1+1= 2 and 1+1= 3. Because I was telling a lie, he could push my arm down… 4. He put his fingers in my mouth… I wouldn’t go there unless you believe in all sorts of alternative medicine

Dr. Larsen is wonderful! Within 2 visits I was feeling normal again, and now I just return every 6 months or so for an adjustment. The table is motorized and rotates until it is vertical so you don’t have to climb up on it — just stand against it and it does the work for your tired back. Dr. Larsen is very professional and takes time to ask about what is stressing you out before the appointment. I do like to let people know that he often does cranial adjustments(this does wonders for the sinuses and the usual winter runny nose!), which can be weird for some people.
