Okay so its been a while since I wrote a review, believe it or not, I enjoy the good ones and this place is a great place for breakfast. Seated instantly, waitress appeared immediately, was extremely helpful, offered suggestions. this was especially helpful since the menu is voluminous. We settled on the Brioche French toast covered with cinnamon and a dollop of whipped cream, two eggs, bacon and coffee. All served quickly, hot and delicious. Waitress very nice, will certainly be returning here again.

It’s been years since I brunched at an IHOP. I’m not sure if the difference in northeast vs Midwest service is a real thing, if the franchise is going downhill across the board, or if this particular location was terrible, but clearly, IHOP isn’t how I remember it from my adolescent years. The menu appears the same, but quality and quantity has regressed while pricing has inflated, naturally. At this particular location, the service is as charming and friendly as the Boston accent is beautiful and articulate. In case the simile was too vague, the staff was unwelcoming, and our server’s attitude, rudeness, and poor service deserved a single penny for a tip(but we unhappily tipped 10% bc Midwestern hearts of gold). My family and I were incredibly frustrated w the service and will likely not risk another disappointing dining experience here again. Noteworthy: As Good As It Gets in Wilmington, MA is a superior breakfast/brunch option and costs a few dollars less than this 2 star relic.

Ihop pancakes are always good with lots of choice for sauce. I like normal syrup but my friend like rasberry sauce. The rest of the food is OK. They have good selection though. I also like the name they hanged out, its kinda whimsical.

First let me start off that I’ve been to really good IHOP in this country. I went here yesterday and was disgusted. I must say that my meal was ok but I will not go back to this place. I didn’t want to cause a scene but at the end of my meal there was a horrible urine stench, hmm could be rats who run around in the night or another stench I was seated close to the back kitchen doors and there were no restroom on this end. I think Massachusetts health inspectors should check out this place because I am sure there are many codes of violation going on in this place. I must say the waitress was superb but this place was a lil slow when I wanted to just leave. I think management need to close this place down and clean up because it won’t be too long that people may start to get sick with a norovirus going around and you start to feel sick. I am not a very happy customer and if you are reading this do not go here and pay attention to any weird stench. The carpet must be dirty or the restaurant is overrun by pests like rats in the back kitchen. So be careful before the next bubonic plague starts right from here. Good luck! A disgusted customer!

I am not a regular IHOP«attendee» but I do visit this particular place from time to time(maybe 2 – 3 times a year). My experience at this particular IHOP has always been pleasant and I really have nothing bad to say about this place. The food, service, and the atmosphere here are what you would expect at any other IHOP chains. No offense to IHOP, but if you are craving delicious breakfast food at a much cheaper price, check out my review of Trescas located in Watertown, MA. Its only like a 5 min away from this IHOP and that place serves MUCHBETTER/TASTIER/CHEAPER food in my opinion!

It’s IHOP. I don’t go there because I want to. I go there because I’m belligerently drunk and a) have a craving for sub-par shitty breakfast food and crappy service, b) it’s the only place open at 3:30am, or c) I’m too intoxicated to function and make it to anywhere else. Let’s just be honest.

I’ve been a customer at the Brighton Ihop for over 17years. I’ve been a server for 8 years at the Brighton Ihop. And its taken me a while to write a review because I have yet to write one on any place I’ve work in. There was a remodel 2 years ago that changed the whole interior of the restaurant; hitting the refresh button/was a brand new place. New menus, new ambiance, new and regular customers but since then I’ve always noticed how the mood of the restaurant became brighter. There has always been changes in the IHOP menu with new items, discontinued items; which can not be forgotten but there’s something you can always find in the 24hr menu that will satisfy. I’ve worked 3 night shifts all of my years because: I love my morning crowd, the fast pace, hot food, satisfied customers its what makes this place that much better. If you ever come in during a weekend morning definitely ask for Jen & I’ll make sure you get you order exactly how you need. I’ll make sure to make your morning unforgettable. My Tip to you if your going in for breakfast/lunch/dinner would be to always ask the server what’s good in the beginning of your meal because we won’t lie& we know the ins&outs if the menu. Biggest Recommendation: Double ChocolateChip Pancakes!!! Have a great meal and smile. Cheers!

We visited on Friday morning for breakfast… I haven’t been here for a while… My brother was visiting from Europe and this place used to be our favorite place. He ordered steak omelette with blueberry pancakes and hash browns, I had spinach and mushroom omelette with pancakes and french toast. Within 5 – 10 minutes food delivered to table… I was very surprised… Unfortunately, my spinach and mushroom omelette was undercooked and it wasn’t exactly what i expected. Instead of sending back to kitchen I ate most of it… I didn’t want to make my brother uncomfortable… His hash browns looked like shredded potato type not crispy sides. His omelette was not too bad. We enjoyed the pancakes and the coffee…

The only reason why anybody should ever come here is after a long night of drinking or a last resort when nothing else is open. You’ll find all types of people here, high school kids to grandparents. There is always a state trooper on the premises so if that doesn’t deter you from going in, be my guest. Food here is below average at best as I try to stick to something simple like eggs over easy, hash browns and some sausage. If you can’t cook eggs then maybe being a cook is not for you.

It’s IHOP. I guess I should have expected it, but I went in with the optimism of an innocent child. An innocent child with a ravenous appetite that could only be sated by carb-loaded awesomeness. And I left disappointed. I ordered the Supreme Bacon Sausage plate with the stuffed Peaches and Cream French toast. Word to the wise: don’t get the stuffed French toast — ever. It is just super creamy and sweet — I don’t mind that — but it is entirely overpriced for that kind of dry bread drenched in sugar. And the sausages are not very good either, so don’t get those. They have all-day specials(my friend and I ordered the cheapest one of those to supplement the pretty paltry but expensive meal that we ordered). They are only ~$ 5 and they have 2 eggs, hash browns, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 pancakes — more than enough food, and it won’t break the bank. The pancakes weren’t great — and for a place with«pancake» in its name, I really expected better even though I would be let down. I just drowned my food in boysenberry syrup — that syrup is amazing — I love it. You should try eating your hash browns with boysenberry syrup — it’ll change your life(maybe). I also had an iced coffee(limitless refills) — it was not good. I would come here again, but I felt like the food was mediocre. And the service was not great either — they took a long time to clear our table or refill our drinks — and I could see them just hanging around and chatting, so that was unfortunate. Yea. Verdict: expensive/overpriced breakfast food. Boysenberry syrup is magical; this place is not.

This place sucks –Always make the food undercooked or not in the specific way I asked for –Rude service, the waiters and waitresses are horrible and not friendly –Place is so prone to crime because its a 24 hours iHOP and all the drunkies come out at night that a State Trooper hangs out by the door –Over priced as hell probably because they are the only thing open that isnt BK or Macdonalds. You really should only eat this place if you have never been there before or if you are desperately starving. Screw this place

Classic american breakfast fast food joint. The portion and prices you get makes it a great deal. The food quality is alright, but its open 24⁄7 and food made fresh to order. My favorite is the steak and eggs, good for any meal of the day.

This particular ihop is pretty spacious. Staff could be a bit more attentive. Standard American breakfast food. Nothing super special. I’ll finish what they serve me. But since when did ihop get so pricey? There is no good reason for their inflated prices. Ex: one waffle is $ 10. Just a waffle, no additional toppings or anything. Save your $$$ and head over to Tresca’s in watertown, just a few miles away. Hands down the best breakfast joint in the area. Breakfast is served all day. Now go read Tresca’s Unilocal page for more info. You won’t regret it.

Terrible place for food overall, but great place to come here after a night of partying when you get the drunchies. It is okay food. Their New York cheesecake pancakes are delicious though. It’s probably the only thing I get when I come here.

Came back because it was the only place open. Now, the place was packed full of middle schoolers, and extremely loud. I couldn’t talk to my friends when the kids were screaming and yelling and clapping. Now I did receive terrible service the first time, but I was very thankful the second time. I got a waitress who was pregnant(don’t remember her name, she looked like she was close!) and she gave great service. Overall I give this IHOP a 1 star, but that particular server gets 4 stars. I would head to a different IHOP even if it’s out of the way.

Come one come all to the newly renovated IHOP! It’s been ages since I’ve last gotten breakfast here, and gosh, the renovations make it look so much homier! Too bad there’s a border down the middle of seats in front of the kitchen. I liked watching the food get served up. Cozy booth seats add that touch, but if you don’t want to get too cozy don’t worry, there are still chairs and tables. Their hash browns come in squares now! Instead of a conglomerated mess. The breakfast is always consistent. Can’t go wrong with that gung ho breakfast! And 1200 calories that come with it. I’ve always wanted to be that daredevil that orders dinner for breakfast but have yet to try. Any takers or current undertakers? IHOP is just the place to go when everyone says«I don’t know» to what they want to eat. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, take your pick.

I frequent this IHOP more than I should. Their service isn’t the greatest, but their breakfast food is too darn good to pass up! My roommate and I come here at least once a week, which is a testament to our satisfaction here. We usually come at night, so it’s pretty quiet. We have come on two weekend mornings with large groups, and the service is much better(weird, I know). I don’t get lunch or dinner foods from here because I’m obsessed with their breakfast. To save yourself some money, get combo meals! Adding on sides gets pricey. If you’ve come here before and we unsatisfied with their appearance, be sure to return! They recently renovated and it looks great!

Much better service from Libby who was terrible during a past lunch, my order was perfect, timely & tasty. I had my favorite chicken fajita omelette with egg whites & salsa, side order of hash browns & my wife had the slim & fit broccoli omelette with egg whites. Sorry to hear they discontinued the red velvet pancakes
