Went there for brunch– it was great. I was stupid hungover from partying like and idiot the evening prior, and the Bloody Mary helped me shake my shakes. I’m not from around here, but the locals I was here to visit advised that I not fuck around and get the house-made donuts. I will tell you right now… If you have never experienced a fresh-made donut this place will unlock that achievement for you. Don’t be an asshat like I was and have the idea in your head that ‘it’s just a frickin’ donut, how good can they really be? I’m here for the savory– the hell with the sweet.’ The donuts are next level, and I will search out an establishment in my hometown to try and have the experience again. For my main event, I had the Reuben Benedict which I found to be inventive, delicious and a perfect portion size for my above average appetite. Great time.

I’ve visited Harry’s several times over the past few years; unfortunately I only make it out to the area a few times a year. Whenever I do have the pleasure of visiting the experience is excellent. The food never fails to impress and the drinks are great. The staff goes out of their way to help with recommendations and a smile. Even on the busiest of nights I’ve never felt ignored, something I can’t say for most bars in the area. Whenever visitors ask for a real Boston experience I always put Harry’s on the list, they always come back with nothing but great things to say about the people they met, and I’m sure most of that credit can go to the fantastic bartenders and staff.

Love Harry’s! Every time I’m in Boston I make sure to stop in. With the menu frequently updating, it keeps me coming back to try new stuff, as well as have some of my old faves. As it comes to service, I’ve never had a bad experience here. As with any place, when it gets slammed, things can take a bit longer, but the servers are always there to make sure that our drinks are filled and that we updated with whats going on. If you’re looking for a great place with awesome food, stunning drink selection, and a great wait staff, Harry’s is your place.

Went last weekend with some friends… been a bunch of times before and didn’t have the best service or customer interaction, but went in with a positive mindset. For a Saturday night, it was dead quiet. While playing pool, a waitress continuously moved our drinks off a table because we were«potentially taking aware business from her tables.» I absolutely understand that, but there were no other tables near the pool table, so drinks went on the floor. The bartender then gave me 6 beers, when I ordered 4(with confirmation from two other friends I only ordered 4). The bartender had already closed my tab and said there was nothing she could do about it; then she proceeded to challenge me for trying to rip her off. At this point my waitress friend brought back a drink that was sent back from a customer. This made another bartender IRATE and he wanted to know who the customer was. When the bartender went to speak w the customer, this waitress then turns to my group and says, «well I hope I don’t get fired» and chugs the cosmo right in front of us… you can’t make this stuff up. It’s amazing how much a poor service can impact the customer experience. I continue to have a poor experience when I visit this place. Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice, I never want to go back.

Harry’s is just an average bar with average bar food you can play pool but usually the table is always busy the staff is Ehh with the exception of the day time bartender Lisa she was really nice… The only reason we ever come to this place is for convenience besides that food is average atmosphere is average definitely 3 stars

My favorite neighborhood bar. Typical bar with decent food. All the staff is nice, food service at tables is offered. Food is decent mostly bar food. I love the waffle fry nachos!!! Prices are reasonable for the liquor. Parking is an issue if you don’t have a resident sticker. Also Monday nights is trivia night!!! Always a good time, great place to grab a drink after work or weekend hang out spot.

Come for Wing Wednesday! It’s 40 cents/wing. I love their Medium and Memphis Rub. They also have sweet chili, bbq, and other levels of hotness. It’s super laidback and spacious. I love the pretzel bites with beer cheese($ 6) and their whiskey sours(also $ 6). I don’t recommend trying their signature cocktails as they are way too strong. Unless that’s your style, then by all means, go for it. I recommend coming here on a weekday evening, not on a weekend. It’s too packed on the weekends and difficult to find a seat. Service has always been really good. They serve brunch on the weekends. I’ve been there only once so far. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. I’ve had better, but I do love the potatoes that came with it. I’ve tried their bloody mary as well, which is good. There’s only one pool table, which sucks. I wish they had more but I understand as there is not enough space for more. During Halloween time, they have cool festive decorations.

Yeah, came back here last month. Came here in 2014, and man this place was the highlight of my trip. Everything was excellent. You couldn’t ask for anything better, just see my previous review of this place. All year I would say to friends«Can’t wait to be back at Harry’s!» or «I could a beer at Harry’s.» So when I came back this year this was the first spot I hit up. And oh man what a difference a year makes… Walk in and sit at the bar. Make eye contact with the bartender and he ignores us for a good five minutes. Finally got to order a drink, he splashes it over the counter. Ask for menus, get them thrown at us. Order a second drink, it sits beneath the tap for some time while he’s talking to these girls. Finally get the food, which was a HUGE mistake. Had the pretzels bites which I loved last time and this go they wound up make me pretty sick for the rest of the day. And then got the bill and was charged for sauce I said when the initial order was placed that I didn’t even want. The highlight was after we went outside to wait for our cab, our bartender comes out and starts chatting with us! Where was this when we were sitting at the bar!!! A great memory ruined and spot I will not be coming back to.

I’m so sad we came back here. We came in and immediately noticed they spruced the place up. We couldn’t be more excited to try it. Last time the bartender treated us like family. This time the bar tender treated us like we were ruining his day. Horrendous service. The food? We remembered LOVING every meal here last year. This year? We all wound up sick off undercooked pretzel bites. Avoid.

First impression – do I wait for someone to seat me or do I seat myself? Definitely not clear here and after 30 seconds of standing awkwardly I just seated myself – of course inadvertently picking an incredibly annoying wobbly table! Waters were quick to come out but it took almost 25 minutes for food on a Friday evening even though there were only a few other tables(but bar was full). I went with the Chicken Pesto Panini and tragically forgot to sub sweet potato fries for a fairly reasonable $ 1 extra. The presentation was impressive! I was a big fan of the toasted bread as it made for a very pleasant bite! The chicken, however, was a bit bland. The fries, on the other hand, were totally addictive! I’m not a fry person, but these were perfectly crispy, thin, and salty. I’m sure the sweet potato version is even better! The servers seem to know a lot of the customers well, which is cool, although I think it can lead to slower service when they stop to have longer conversations. Overall, the food was pretty good. I’d give the place a 3.5 – minus 0.5 for feeling super awkward/ignored when I first walked in.

Amazing vegetarian food! Omg those veggie sliders… Also, the bar staff is so great and attentive! We sat at the bar and the bartender regularly checked in with us and refilled our waters, even though the place was kind of bustling. I definitely would come here again!

I frequent this place at least once a week, whether it be to sit and have dinner, grab a drink at the bar, our just to grab take out. That being said, I order the same thing every single time, now don’t think this review is biased, because I have had other things, and friends who I dine with who order other things to. Their bone less«Death Wish» wings are hands down the best chicken I can find anywhere. The quality of the chicken, the“over the top”(just how I love it) death wish sauce is delicious and you can tell it’s made there, not just Frank’s Red Hot dumped on it like most other places. My other go to“add on” is their clearly home made garlic mashed potatoes, always fresh, and they know me so well now the potatoes ALWAYS come piping hot, yes I am a picky eater. They serve cold cold beers and have great drinks, along with drink specials The one and only reason I did not give Harry’s 5 stars is because while the bartenders if you sit at the bar are very attentive, when you sit at a table, the service is very slow and inattentive. Harry’s, never change your boneless chicken or bartenders, both are awesome, thank you for just being a walk down the street, it’s my favorite place

One of the best brunch menus around. Everything is fresh and amazing. Pro tip, check what the donut specials are for the day and don’t pass them up! Ever been curious to try Chicken & Waffles? This is the best place! The music is always change going from pop, to alternative, to classic rock. Sometimes it’s a little louder, but it’s generally a twenty-something atmosphere with your older locals mixed in now and again.

Harry’s is my spot. I watched the Patriots win the Super Bowl at Harry’s, so it’s forever in my heart. I love the selection of beers on tap, including Red Paint, which is brewed just for Harry’s by Harpoon. I also love the gin and tonics. I’ve never had a meal I didn’t like at Harry’s, but I love the mac and cheese and anything that comes with Harry’s Special Sauce the most.(Also — Irish Nachos!!!)

Not sure if I tipped my review towards four because I was at Charlies Kitchen before it, or because Waltham bars have colored my experiences for too long. Anyway, I was out visiting friends down the block and when dinner rolled around, they agreed on this place for sustenance. Full disclosure, I was partly expecting a sub shop. Yes… There is something about this place that makes it fodder for the d-bag type of co-ed. But hey, shouldn’t that be part of the charm? Another part of the charm: Taco Night Thursdays. For a pubby locale, I was really impressed with both the simple beef taco and fancypants duck confit taco, all for a mere $ 5. This place unquestionably serves its purpose in drinks and drunchies, and it actually feels like a pub. The prices were fairly reasonable by Boston standards, so I’d definitely go back again for a night out.

For whatever reason, my friends always seem to roll their eyes when I suggest that we go to Harry’s. But I actually really like this place when it’s not super crowded with wasted undergrads and on any night but trivia night… it’s not that I don’t enjoy trivia night, it’s just that the MC for trivia night can be really weird and obnoxious here. But if you go to Harry’s you gotta try their wings… I honestly think they are the best in Boston, and they are the main reason that I keep going back. They’ve got a bunch of different sauces and flavors, but their hot buffalo wings are really really good. And apparently they’re going to be doing brunch on the weekends here now.

After walking by Harry’s on numerous occasions, I finally stopped in earlier this week. It’s a decent bar; although, as evidenced by the PBR& Coors signs on the wall, it caters to a younger, college-aged crowd. They have several different beers on tap at any given time, & they have a decently stocked bar. I say decently, because being geared toward college students, you won’t find all of your top-shelf brands here. The appetizers are pretty good. I ordered the pretzel bites, & they were quite good. The entrees are your standard bar fare — not stellar but also not terrible. I had a chicken wrap, & it was so-so. Half of the wrap was all lettuce & no chicken, & the other half was all chicken & no lettuce. The fries that came with the wrap were a tad soggy. The bar, however, has a nice, cozy layout to it, & there are several big screen TVs on the walls, which make it a great spot for watching sports.

Can I begin by saying how disappointed I am that I am just now discovering Harry’s? I mean I’ve lived here for almost 2 years and I just found it three months ago? How how how?! Now that I found Harry’s, I am a very happy girl. I’ve been here a few times for drinks, apps, and a full dinner. Each time the environment is fun, low-key and you can tell you’re in the neighborhood bar. I like that. Often there is country music, some local boys playing pool, and a young crowd in general. It doesn’t have the uppity, fancy or crowded feel that most of the other bars in the area have. The bartenders are always very friendly and helpful. I have gotten several of their food items, including the chicken fingers, quesadilla, pretzel bites(a must!!), mac & cheese. All of them tasted far above my expectations. For a neighborhood bar we certainly are lucky that Harry’s is the bar for us. They also have many deals throughout the week for food prices or trivia games that make it more affordable and also a more welcoming environment. I am so happy I found Harry’s and you will be too. It is in a place that you necessarily would come out to Austin to go to, but if you’re in the area it is one of the best.

Went here for a drink once but was really looking for a table. After waiting a while, decided to leave because we couldn’t get a seat at the bar or in the dining area. There was a celtics game on when we arrived. Cool place, I may return in the future to try the food. T-accessible(stop right across the street), parking is more difficult but definitely do-able if you don’t mind spending a few minutes looking for a spot or walking a few blocks.

I almost forgot I have been to Harry’s recently! How could I? It is exactly what you would think, a college-ish bar, sports, and beer. I came on a Saturday around 930 – 10 with a friend and we got a little table, it wasn’t too crowded yet. They have some good beers, but I mainly wanted to review it because our server was really good, attentive, not pushy or rude like some bar staff can get, she even let me sample the pumpkin beer since I wasn’t sure about it. I’m into it
