I have been here several times and I have to recommend going elsewhere. The food is average and the service is horrid. There are better restaurants much closer.

Love the food, but the service is slow. I’ve been to this location at least 4 times recently, and each time the service was so slow.

I just ate here for the first time, also my first time eating at ANY Cracker Barrel. I waited 5 minutes to be seated… It took at least 10 minutes for a waitress to even come to my table after I sat down(she did apologize). Very bad first impression. After I got my drinks and ordered. I received my food fairly quick(which worried me that my food had been sitting and prepared in the morning). My meatloaf was not as warm as I would have liked it to be, as well as my potatoes. Nonetheless, the food was good. I would just have liked the food to be hot. Definitely will return to try again. 3 stars for bad service and cold food BUT not lower because the food was good.

Avoid this Cracker Barrel. The food was over cooked. The serve was terrible. And even though we arrived early, other parties of the same size were seated ahead of us.

I’ve only ever come here for Sunday breakfast/brunch, which may be my problem. But Cracker Barrel can get sooooo busy. I literally could not find a single open parking spot the last time we came here, but didn’t have the choice of going elsewhere to eat because we were meeting family here for breakfast. Friendly service, good food in large portions, very reasonable prices. I can see why it’s so busy. But I think I’d prefer to go elsewhere, even if they’re more expensive or whatever, to avoid the crowd…

Very good breakfast served very promptly(although they were not very busy). I had the egg sandwich with hashbrown casserole. Eggs over medium were cooked perfectly atop toasted sourdough, served open face with a generous amount of mayonnaise and ripe tomato slices. The hashbrown casserole has always been, and continues to be my go-to side at breakfast here. My father had pecan pancakes, as well as eggs and bacon — all met his liking, although only given a 1.5oz bottle of syrup for 3 enormous pancakes wasn’t sufficient… Our friendly server quickly produced another bottle out of her apron. Great value, service, and food.

Our family has been here several times and we have always been impressed. The ribeye steak is very flavorful, and the apple dumpling dessert is delicious! I would definitely recommend this place.

I loved this restaurant, I went a couple weeks ago, Saturday morning, and even though you could see that they were busy, I was seated right away, and we ordered, and the food came in a timely manner! It was about 10:30, but we asked if we could order lunch, and they brought a lunch menu right out for us! I got the chicken and dumplings with green beans, and it was delicious!!! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

We love coming to eat here. I was blown away by their service New Year’s Day. They were understaffed, so we had to wait a bit. Otherwise, after we were sat, service was wonderful as normal. The most impressive and commendable worker was the manager. He was bussing tables, helping servers, and cashiering. He was not the pretentious manager standing in the corner with his suit and tie. He put on an apron and helped out. What a great team! Their food is great too!

The food is usually very good. However we were there a few nights ago and the biscuit was almost raw, the fries were cold and not done also. The portions are getting smaller and the waitress had a attitude.

The people who work here are fantastic, young and old! The woman who served me was friendly and attentive! Having so many artifacts mounted on the wall makes you feel like home! Old country feel with great food. I had the catfish with Southern seasoning along with carrots, corn, and green beans! Their biscuits are fantastic and they taste like true hand-rolled wonders! I recommend this place! Check out the store too

This is our second and last time to this Cracker Barrel. On the first visit we had to stand and wait at the podium as the manger walked around and asked how all the other guests meals were till she noticed us and then called for someone in the back of the house to seat us. Next we were informed that grits and biscuits/gravy are complementary so they could not be substituted for anything; not even tomato slices . Today is Thanksgiving and my wife and I decided that it would be a good idea to have our extended family out for dinner because we wouldn’t have to fill our house with dishes. We called ahead two days and told us they don’t take reservations. So we arrived early to place our name on the list to be seated and the hostess asked for me to tell her when my party had arrived. I asked when the did would be put to the top of the list if we had waited the hour and half the told us it would be. She said no our time doesn’t start until everyone arrived. So this will be our last time visiting the Cracker Barrel in Brighton they clearly don’t care about customer service or repeat customers.

I ordered carry out for my elderly parents. Was told ten minutes for my order to be ready. I got there fifteen minutes later and proceeded to wait an hour and fifteen minutes more in the store. Multiple checks on the order and kept getting told it wasn’t ready yet. Finally a manager was called and he brought out my order and informed me it had been sitting under a heat lamp the whole time. No apology and he was completely matter of fact that a customer had been left standing around all that time and then was given food prepared over an hour before. Nice. Food was predictably awful and was mostly discarded. Needless to say, I’ll pass on the Cracker Barrel experience next time mom and dad need a food delivery.

Your standard roadside Cracker Barrel. What made this one so awful was that I ordered the breakfast sliders that says it comes with 2 Grade A eggs, but when the check came, I saw the server put in egg beaters! BLAH!

What’s not to like about Cracker Barrel? You could take your Grandma here and she would love you for it. All the comfort foods you could desire, and you can even structure a more healthy meal(I had salmon last time) if you want. The little gift store in the front adds to the cuteness(I had to get a harmonica as I payed the bill up front). Clean and fast, attentive service. You ain’t gonna get«haute cuisine» here, but you can get a chicken and dumplings that will stick to your ribs.

Ive always had there breakfast at Cracker barrel. First time I tried there dinner. I ordered the ribeye steak. I ordered it medium and it was more on the well done side. It wasn’t very tasty. The side salad they serve you was bahhh, It was just lettuce and dressing. Overall dinner was ok at best, Im just going to stick to breakfast when I come to crackerbarrel

Yay! Cracker Barrell! This is one of those places I enjoy visiting year round — ‘just to look’. Right, ladies! Subsequently my husband is not the biggest fan of this chain, as he will easily lose me for a good amount of minutes. I dont think he quite understands why I even bother looking at decorative items which will clash with our contemporary home interior. I dont either, but it is fun nonetheless. Come Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas one can find super cute Holiday inspired items. Every store has a candle wall, where I of course need to stick my nose in every jar and eventually decide I really dont need a $ 30 candle. Every store has a cool oldtimer candy section with gems such as chuckles, chick o stix, button candies and much more — alongside ‘modern’ and gourmet treats. A visit to CB is not complete unless I purchase a large swirly pop. You know, the rainbow colored swirl lollipops, the size of your face. *Unleash the inner Child!*. What typically draws us however are the audiobooks. Because we drive such crazy amounts, we enjoy picking up a suspenseful John Grisham or James Patterson novel. Sometimes used to keep us awake, other times to make the long drives more entertaining. As far as Cracker Barrel restaurants, I am a little torn. Though I do enjoy many items on the menu such as biscuits and gravy, chicken n dumplins, meatloaf, cheesy casserole and their yummy pancakes, we often run into the same problem at seperate restaurants. More often than not, our food will arrive lukewarm– and we are consistently told that this is their ‘holding’ temperature, nobody ever complains– but they can nuke it for us. Grmbl. Since I am usually the driving force behind visiting Cracker Barrel’s(Erin is not a fan for aforementioned reasons), we dont come here as often as I would like. Some things are probably better in moderation, anyways!

This location is great! Fast seating usually and the staff has been great. I was pregnant this past spring(2010) and we made many visits. The staff would ask about me each week. It was nice :) Love the food. I am happy with just plain pancakes, but love the other stuff too :)
