I came to Bridgton for one night to see a town hall meeting that was taking place downtown. I needed a place to stay and Grady’s was one of the only places open in the winter months. I got an off-season rate of $ 70.00 and I was very happy with my stay. The service was great; super friendly staff and I made great conversation with the owner, Bill. My room had a full kitchen with all the appliances(pots, pans, plates, silverware, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, full size refrigerator and freezer). The room was very clean and comfortable. I was very happy with my stay and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful service. Clean rooms. No weird smell. Full kitchen appliances though no separate room. Hot water and water pressure were wonderful. Close to so many things. Right on the water. I came in for an event and I’ve had a really good experience. I would come again.

This place is amazing. We came here in February. We brought trucks and trailers full of snowmobiles. The lake was frozen so we had quick easy access to the snowmobiling trails just on the other side. The rooms are great! They are spacious and have a small kitchen with a full size refrigerator, small oven, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. It is also stocked with plates, cups, bowls for six people; pots and pans; utensils. Extremely convenient and thoughtful. There was a card table in the closet too, which we utilized for dinner. There are complaints posted about the wi-fi, but that has now been fixed it seems. I am in the furtherest room and my wi-fi signal for my laptop and phone are perfect! They were also kind enough to let our black lab stay too. The prices were extremely reasonable. The walls are a little thin. That’s the only bad thing. I didn’t really mind it but it is the off season I guess, so maybe something to consider. The best part was the owners. They were extremely, extremely nice people. They were very accommodating and just so sweet. They let us use their grill for BBQing some meat we brought. They also brought out a small, portable fire pit and s’mores kit for us when they saw us utilizing their numerous plastic sleds to race down the hill to the lake. They stood out there for a little while with us cheering as we raced down and ran back up. They were just excellent. I highly recommend staying here any time of the year.

Beautiful grounds, spacious and clean rooms. Nice staff. Full sized refrigerator and stove. Includes even a toaster — nice touch! — and cooking and eating utensils. I have rated it 5 stars even though there was a chemical or mildewy odor in the room, and one had to walk outside to get wifi. Very reasonable rates.

We spent a night here in early August. The room was reserved on fairly short notice, but was still very cheap. Before I reserved the room, we were planning on sleeping in my car, so the price would’ve been enough to make me happy. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the place. The room was very nice and quite large for the price. The grounds were very quiet and the bed was comfy, so I got a great night of sleep(much better than I would’ve in my car). The owner was extremely nice. I was staying there so that I’d be close to my old summer camp for our ten-year alumni reunion, and when I told him that, he started telling me stories about being around for the construction of the camp. Furthermore, he invited us to come down to the shore that evening for marshmallows, and to come rowing on the shore the next morning. We couldn’t do either(they conflicted with the camp reunion), but I really appreciated the hospitality. Two minor downsides. First of all, the place advertised free wi-fi, but we had no signal in our room. Ours was the furthest from their office, so it’s possible that we were just out of range, but it would’ve been nice to know in advance. Also, only one of the electrical outlets was grounded, and it was the one furthest from the beds, so I couldn’t charge my computer while using it in bed. These were both insignificant to me, since I wouldn’t have had either luxury if I’d slept in my car, but they’re something to be aware of if you’re staying here while on vacation. I would’ve given the place five stars if it weren’t for these two things. Overall, I really liked this place. I’ll definitely look for it again on my next pilgrimage to Bridgton.
