Came here for a Njyp event… an actual beer pong tournament. The atmosphere was fun and lively for a Friday night. The appetizers kept coming out, I didnt eat but boy did that food look good. Attentive staff and reasonable prices.

With a lot of competition in the area, this place needs to spruce up A LOT! Upon entering, you could smell where the bathrooms were. Luckily, we were seated far from the smelly area. The booth seats needed to be replaced. They were torn and very shabby. I can only imagine what lives in that carpet. But we were hungry, the place was empty, and they would have definitely noticed if we left, so we stayed. The beer selection was extensive so that was good. The appetizers seemed pre-fab so it was nothing too impressive. We ordered the Fish and Chips and they was surprisingly good. Perfectly cooked and very crunchy. I thought it was pricey for being so typical. Our server was what I call«retail nice»…interpret that as you wish. I will not be returning… so many other places in close proximity that are way better…

Delicious food and drinks and the service was great. Seems like a fun, chill place to hang out.

Twenty-one beers on tap and always something new to try. Flights of five drafts for only $ 8! Bartenders are knowledgeable. Salads and burgers are very good.

Well I can’t give a review on the food considering we never had a server come to our table. We sat for 20 minutes, and eventually gave up. We left and went to Buffalo Wild Wings.

Everything is bad. The service is bad, the food is bad, the beer… the beer is fine. The tables are dirty, which is bad, and when you’re here you feel bad.

These places are all the same really. Typical chain food, but a better beer selection than most. Nice happy hour specials. The bar tenders have always been more friendly than I expect. It’s not a very big bar area though. I will be back, but mostly for the beer and happy hour, or the Tuesday night beer specials.

Loads of other places in the area. Went with a large group. They put us in a room with 1 server.(FYI, I learned from them, not sure if its an industry standard, but at least there it(should be) 1 server for each 15 people. We had more than that and it took a long time for the server to get just to all the drink orders(not anything wrong with her, just a lot of running back and forth from the bar). Never got to take food orders«can you wait till I get done with the drink orders’. We went elsewhere for food — Chimney Rock right down the street has a nicer atmosphere. They lost out on lots of sales of more drinks and food because people bailed rather than deal with the slow service.

The interior was old, needs a face lift. Lemon grass dumplings and the potato pancakes were good. My burger that was supposed to be medium was rare and raw in the center. Service was fine, waiter had no personality. Meh

This is my 1st time at the Office in Bridgewater. I was very surprised to see an empty restaurant at lunch time. I usually have gone to the Office in Summit, NJ, it’s usually packed. I was greeted immediately by a woman who turned out to be our waitress. She was very friendly. I sat at one of the high tops across from the bar. I noticed several nice beers on tap plus craft beers. I was given several menus. One was a lunch special menu. One was a cocktail menu. One was the regular menu. I did notice that The Office changed their menu… I ordered a lunch special. The grilled Blackened Shrimp Tostadas. Six small shrimp came on a skewer across two corn shells. It had guacamole on the side and a mango salsa on top of the two shells. There was also a creamy style sauce drizzled across the top. It was pretty good but I thought it could use something. My friend ordered the bacon, chicken finger sandwich on ciabatta style bread. It comes with fries. No complaints about the sandwich. The Office was always known for large portions but since the menu change they scaled back some. I would return at this location for the happy hour and beer specials. The food is so so…

I went to this place during happy hour with my girlfriend, and we ordered from the happy hour menu. The choices were pretty standard. We tried the wings, dumplings, and nachos. The wings were decent. nothing spectacular, but it was good enough to satisfy my craving for wings. The dumplings were okay. I thought the portions were on the small side and not really worth the price(even though it was already at a discount). I thought the nachos were pretty good. basically exactly what I expected when I ordered them, so I had no complaints with that. The thing I do need to complain about is what the food did to my stomach a few hours later. It sounded like my stomach was trying to learn how to speak english, and it was almost succeeding. It wasn’t really painful or anything, but I just thought it was very odd and unsettling that my stomach was reacting like that. Someone with a weaker stomach would probably really hate this place. Despite what happened, I’d be willing to try this place again to see if it was a one-time thing or not. The food was fine and the overall price was very good.

Revisited this restaurant for dinner after several years absence. No changes here. Run down interior and out of date menu choices. The place was cold and nearly empty. A few people at the bar and only two tables occupied including ours. Had a strong stale beer odor. Heard the hostess/bartender(?) stating they had a different owner and the place«may» be getting a facelift/update. Hope it happens soon or no customers will be left.

Stopped in on Saturday after attending a party nearby. It was about 11pm on a Saturday and there were five people in this place. The lighting was pretty awful, hella bright. One couple who looked like they were on a date had some giant bud light drink dispenser thing at their table. I would put this place on the level of any apple bees, Fridays, Shannon rose etc.

My wife and I love going to the office with ours friends for happy hour. They have great prices and a great beer selection. I love getting the wings and my wife likes the fajitas. We always get Kim the bartender who severs us. She is great, always friendly and attentive.

I’ve been coming here for years and have always been a big fan. It’s nothing fancy, but that’s ok, because if fancy is what you’re looking for, you’d be going somewhere else. But if what you’re looking for is lots of great draft beers, friendly bartenders and bar food that is both inexpensive and delicious, then look no further. They also tend to feature many local NJ craft beers on tap(including Kane — an all-time favorite of mine), which is a huge plus in my book.

The Office is a bar that just happens to have tables. I like it. The tap list is always okay and sometimes great with about 20 or so lines, most of them rotating. I’ve had a couple off-tasting taps but it usually isn’t the case. They generally have one or two New Jersey beers on tap like Kane Head High and occasional gems like Stone Enjoy By. It’s mostly craft — although you’ll find some European styles — and you can always get a Bud or a cocktail if that’s your thing. They mostly offer bar food — I would recommend the appetizer platter and the calamari — but they do offer plenty of healthier things like fish tacos, chicken sandwiches, salmon, and various salads. I’ve sampled a lot of it and overall I think the food is decent to good. Table service can be hit or miss so sitting at the bar is probably your best bet. Even though this place has an ample dining area I find it more of a formality as the bar area is the focal point and it’s geared more towards groups of co-workers and sports fans.

(I wrote this review in Aug 2012 but it didn’t officially post.) I used to LOVE this place… Best burgers and wings in the area. Recently though, they have downsized the menu and decreased their portion sizes. One example is the soup — they only filled the bowl up half way. Where was the rest? The wings changed, too-they used to be big, meaty pieces with a great sauce recipe. Now just average. Really disappointed. Their beer selection may be their best selling point. Oh, and don’t sit by the door — every time it closes, it slams shut loudly.

This place is just not good. They have a ton of beers on tap and the taps seem clean so there is the two stars. The bar tender is on speed. She was rattling off specials so fast I was getting a head ache. Couple of the guys got a beer sampler and she knew a ton about the beers. The food is so bad. Just don’t eat here. If you have to eat some chips or something. The wings were soggy. Fries out of the freezer. I tried the lettuce wraps. The veggies were so big they did not fit in the lettuce and the whole tasteless thing fell apart. Even the burgers were just nasty. So yeah, stay away. Unless you are just drinking beer then woo hoo!

Lobster salad was great as were the pretzel stick apps. Bunch of beers on tap and really nice high top /bar area. Really friendly, attentive service. They brought out the next ice tea as soon as I was 75% through the one I was drinking. Put down 6 during a 30 minute lunch! Reasonable prices for some quality bar food. Can’t wait to get back for a beer.
