Our family dined at Brick Oven many times over the years. Because of moves, we had not been back in a while. Happily, for a recent family gathering in the vicinity, we ordered large, family style trays to take out and serve at home. It was absolutely delicious! Although we gave the restaurant very little notice(none, really!!), they prepared wonderful entrees of chicken cacciatore and eggplant parm with pasta, both ready to serve, with fresh bread, too. It tasted fresh, light and completely homemade. And the staff was so kind, friendly and accommodating. We hope to be back soon! Thank you so much.

I’m writing a 5 star review for this restaurant for 2 reasons, one is the food is excellent, very casual and very affordable. Great pizza, pasta and a great varied menu. Chicken parmasean is great, chicken francaise and they have amazing home made bread! I’m also writing 5 stars because of the quality and compassion of the staff and owners. We have disabled 17 year old autistic sons who can be difficult to bring out to a restaurant. We have taken the boys here multiple times and these people go above and beyond. The regular waiter and waitress seem to have a real knack for helping the with boys, they quickly bring the food out and are incredibly patient and thoughtful. We can’t thank these people enough for their thoughtfulness in working with us. Give them your business for being good human beings.

My favorite pizza and I eat a lot of pizza! They also have the best chicken dishes and salads. Not to mention the staff is friendly and you can’t beat the prices! Truly a gem right on the Bridgeport/Fairfield lines.

This is an old fashioned Italian restaurant. Clam pizza is fantastic. Pasta is good. All reasonably priced, with good service. A nice alternative to some of trendier spots in the area.

I used to go here when I was younger and there were fewer options around. Out of curiosity I tried it last weekend, only to find out that whatever quality was there when I was younger is totally gone. If you’re going to fork over the money for brick oven, then don’t go here. The people are nice and the service is good, but the pizza is gross and overpriced. The place needs a drastic renovation and they serve a 16incher for the price of an 18 incher. My mother claimed she like it, so maybe you might too, but from someone who knows pizza as I do, this place can be missed.

Excellent pizza. Brick oven really takes it to a higher level. Service was excellent for a large group like ours. Friendly, accomodating, cozy. Why go to those pricing upscale joints. Equally as good for a fair price!

I took my family on a Sunday evening. There was a big party and a few other people already seated. I didn’t see any waitstaff so we seated ourselves. It took almost 10 min for someone to visit our table, by that time we were ready to order. The antipasti for $ 7 was huge and the house dressing with it was very tasty. We all split a pepperoni pizza which had a pleasantly fresh tomato sauce, but the pizza was a bit on the greasy side and the crust very doughy. It did taste good though. We asked for the check, which took more than 10 minutes to be delivered. They probably could have used more staff. Typical Italian eatery ranging from pizza and pasta to Veal Marsala and Chicken Cordon Bleu. They also have daily specials.
