Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Couldn’t accurately or helpfully explain what oil my new to me car needed and why it was so expensive. Employees didn’t move with any sense of urgency, so it took me over 75 minutes from when I pulled up with one person already in the bay in front of me.

I’m a fan! I’ve been going to another oil change station for years and Valvoline in Brentwood is my new stop. As soon as I pulled up the staff came out with a friendly welcome, but let me know right away it would be about 30 minutes. No exaggeration and right on the estimated time I was in and out. I really liked the way the staff recommended services needed but didn’t push/​sell me additional expense after letting them know I wasn’t interested or I would take care of it on my own [ex: replacing my air filter]. The only reason for the 4 stars is because of the long wait time. See you in 3 – 4 months!

I’ve used this location for years, but the service gets slower and slower and less efficient. I gave up today — after having to move my car (as did several other people) twice so they could serve «the next customer — first come, first served. «
A simple solution would be for all the cars waiting to be in a single line and go to the next available bay rather than having us move from line to line over and over. I’ll use Firestone around the corner rather than waste 45 minutes moving lanes and still not getting an oil change.

Took longer than they said. Was told 15 and was there for 40. But the service was good.

I have been going to this location for years and have never been disappointed. The staff is always respectful and friendly. I can typically get my oil changed right away, but if it’s a busy time like during lunch, I’ll just leave my car there and come back in an hour to pick it up. I have been to other oil change businesses in the past whose staff tried to take advantage of me as a woman who is not a mechanic — recommending expensive, unneeded services. Valvoline in Brentwood has never done that to me. I know if they recommend an additional service, it is something I truly need. Plus, they never put the hard sell on me if I decline a service or state I’ll take care of it on my next visit. They are reasonably priced and often send coupons that save me even more money (they cost about half the cost at the dealership). The couple times I’ve gone elsewhere over the years, due to convenience of being closer to my home, has resulted in me spending more and leaving feeling taken advantage of, so this location has become the only place in which I will get an oil change.
