LookAfter Hair Company

My hair is definitely a challenge. It’s got no body and doesn’t hold a curl. It was taking over a half hour every day to get it to look halfway ok to go to work, or at least without wanting to put a turban on and to hide it. I had been to this LookAfter before and liked the one stylist, so the next time I went back, I requested her. She was gone! Since my hair IS such a challenge, I had no desire to get just anyone to cut it. I was extremely desperate one day, and went in because I figured anything was better than the way it was looking. Enter Zac! I told him what I wanted (hair like Jennifer Aniston would be nice), and he told me what my hair needed. He told me the shampoo I needed to use, and went into great detail on ways to improve my hair. The other day at work, someone commented on how nice my hair looked! Wow, wow, wow, I haven’t heard that in a long time! And now, I don’t use all that hair spray! Styling time is down to 15 minutes a day, too! I sent my child there to have her hair done by Zac, and she was just as pleased. He’s the greatest!

Always 45 minutes to an hour wait… even when there is only one customer waiting… the stylist slowly sweep the floor while I sit and wait.

Like all but the very top echelon hair salons, the haircare you get is dependent upon the stylist you choose. Three or four stylists that I have worked with here (they quit often) have all been pretty good to excellent. You get free neck trims in between haircuts. The only real problem I have had is that one stylist trimmed my neck too close and caused me to break out in bumps. When I got my final lookover in the mirror from behind, I asked her whether she noticed I was perhaps starting to get a rash back there. She said, «yeah, do not worry, a lot of people have that». Well, a lot of people have that because she is GIVING that the people by setting the razor to close or being too fast with it. I have white skin so perhaps it shows up more than she realizes.

Lesson Learned: Don’t just write Unilocal reviews, read them, and give them great weight when considering where to get your hair cut.
I was in the area and needed a haircut. I went here knowing full-​well it only had 2 stars. I waited too long, and paid too much, for a mediocre haircut. On the upside, the stylist was friendly and talkative.
