I have been using elegant cleaners on Moores for a couple years now. Have always had a good experience until yesterday. I picked up my order only to find that they had lost not one but two of the accoutrements that go to two of my dresses. Both of which we specifically set with the order so as not to lose them. When I called to see if they forgot to put them back in they said sorry we don’t have them. And did not offer any compensation. I believe they may have changed owners in recent months and perhaps that is why their customer service and attention to detail is lacking, in any case I am brining my business elsewhere from now on.

They did a wedding dress preservation for us a while back. It was terrible. Very lazily done and everything easily came disconnected inside the box. When we bought the groupon we thought it might be the same place. It was, so I thought it might be a good chance to both give them another shot and also mention what happened with the wedding dress since we hadn’t had a chance to go by there since life had been so busy. The lady there said there was nothing they could do about the shoddy wedding dress preservation. She vas very cold and short. They do a decent job dry cleaning shirts but if they won’t even look at the wedding dress we paid a small fortune for them to mangle, I’m not going back. Ever

Certainly not a regular but I have been here 3 times now. I only have used them for shirts and on a groupon because my guy is closer and doesnt have Brentwood pricing. I will say they are very friendly and there is never a wait. My shirts have come back clean, pressed and with all the buttons. Bottom line: yay! I’m a fan

If there was such a thing as zero stars, I’d probably be giving this place a rating for that. They didn’t inform me about losing my suit pants until I checked in 4 days after they said it would be ready. They said they would call me back and try to make amends and never did. And because the jacket and slacks are listed separately online(but sold together as a matching set at the store), they think $ 20 is a fair compensation(even though the retail price of the pants are way above that). The fact that this suit can only be bought in NYC or Japan has no significance to them and they don’t feel that it is their responsibility to compensate me on that part. For the lack of proactive solution finding, responsibility, and caring, they should be awarded no stars honestly. By the way, I contacted the BBB to try and get them to rectify and because they’re not even associated with them, I ended up without any sort of resolution. BBB gave them a C– or so because they«claim» a resolution was reached.
