Falafel sandwich is the metric. Fried balls o’ seasoned chickpeas can be got at many a joint, but Kebab Gyros are some of the best in the Metro. The hummus is really good, too. Regrettably, pairing the goods with lame-O iceberg lettuce and LA hot sauce do not do justice to the owner’s really above average home made falafel. Also, putting top of pita at the bottom of the sandwich seems like filler. Owner and son seemed like very nice people(with a Christian bible near the front door– so people won’t feel guilty about eating Middle Eastern food?). Ambiance is nothing to note.

My Mum and I were looking for something to eat for lunch this past week and this place piped up. We looked at one another but decided to give this place a try based upon the previous reviews(even though it was alittle while since an update review was placed) We both order the gyro platter and it did not disappoint. I got the lamb and chicken combo and my mum just the chicken. The food was deliciously mouth watering. It came with rice a salad and some pita bread. The little container was packed with so much food it was a struggle to finish. I’m glad I stumbled upon this place as I will certainly be back for more.

Years ago when I worked in Maryland Farms, I came here all the time and thought it was fantastic. It’s slipped a bit but still is about average for a restaurant like this. I love the fluffy rice. The gyro meat, hummus, and falafel were pretty good. The spanakopita was soggy, the pita bread was hard and crusty. The cucumber sauce was runny and obviously had been sitting in a cup for too long, because gunk had formed around the surface. Service was adequate.

Working in Brentwood, finding fast, inexpensive and good food is a challenge. Kebab Gyros is the real deal, everything is fresh and they make it right in front of you. Service is fast and friendly, and the food is consistently good. The punch card is awesome too, I fill mine up pretty quickly. The lentil soup is awesome and don’t forget about the falafel!

I always have a good experience here. Food is good and so is the service. They have a punch card… buy 8 times and the 9th is free. The ambiance is nothing to brag about but it’s not bad. Food is appropriately priced. And the service is fast.

This is hands down the BEST Greek place in Nashville. The falafel is amazing and the customer service is through the roof! I can’t say enough good things about this lovely place!!!

Hard to refuse and delicious fresh cut fries. The best Philly Cheese Steak in town, the banana peppers make it amazing. The sandwiches are filling and meat is flavorful. This family owned and operated business is a gem in Brentwood. When my family visits from out of state the only thing that is always on their list of To do’s is eating at Kebab Gyros. Proven to be worth the drive from anywhere.

This is hands down the best Greek place in Brentwood. I love the chicken gyro, and the hand cut fries are the best! The staff is super friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend!

Because it is a short walk from work, we find ourselves at Kebab every couple of weeks. Priced appropriately, the food is really nice. They could do with a little updating on the interior; but with such a friendly staff and excellent taste, that is a relatively minor complaint. I’ve noticed business really picks up at around 11:30, so try to get there early!

Kebab’s is within walking distance of where I work. It’s a small place in a strip mall near Maryland Farms. It’s just a counter service like many other Mediterranean places. The prices are really low. You can get a Gyro with fries and a drink for under $ 8.00 or you can get the platter with rice, salad, 2 meats, and pita bread for the same price. The food has a great flavor. The owners are very friendly and move quickly to get you in and out. The décor is outdated and it could be cleaned up a little bit. I’m a bit of a germaphobe and don’t like touching too many things especially before eating. If paying by debit/credit, they expect you to sign the receipt on a little clip board that looks filthy. I don’t want to touch that thing that everyone else touches right before I begin eating. If they could update the place and clean it up they might get 5 stars. Until then, it’s a three. Overall though, the food really is good.

First off, I think the chicken has great flavor and really enjoy the tasty homemade ranch sauce. It’s the service which I find to be a little 50 – 50 and why this review isn’t higher. Both times I stopped by, it was just after 1pm and I was placing an order to-go. The first time, a sweet woman was working and she offered me samples even though I was fairly sure I knew what I wanted. Great experience. The second time, a young male 20s-30s was working behind the counter, and I think he must have been having a bad day. I was the only customer, but he seemed very distracted and it feel like I was inconveniencing him to wait on me. I tried being extra pleasant to turn it around but it was not well received. Like I said, probably just a bad day. But when I added grape leaves to my order, he hurriedly slopped them into a styrofoam container– and when I opened the container back at work, they were ice cold and swimming in a green sea of oil, which was really offputting. I don’t know if this is how they are normally served at this location, or if he just didn’t feel like heating them up or asking me how I’d like them. I’m just not used to them sitting in all that oil or being served directly from the fridge at other Mediterranean restaurants. So overall, good chicken sandwiches — maybe just not the best place for me to order grape leaves or count on peppy servers. Because I do enjoy their sandwiches, I’ll probably be back to give this one another try.

Food was really good, and the service was great. Really nice. I had a chicken platter with the home made ranch, which was awesome. Only complaint is that they didn’t have any cheese other than feta. Most people won’t mind that, but I really like to have the shredded cheddar or colby/jack with my meal. Overall — a great place to eat!

This is a great find in Brentwood. They have the best fresh seasoned French fries. The marinated chicken is the best I’ve had along with fresh salad and rice. Wonderful place.

Order a Kebob sandwich with fries, you won’t be disappointed. Fresh and hot every time. The fries are hand cut, and fried to perfection. They have tasty chicken and rice as well.

Thus I continue my ongoing series of review of every. single. freakin. kebab/gyro/greek type restaurant in Nashville. I’ve heard good things about Kebab Gyros but had never visited before. They have 4 locations around Nashville. I visited this location in Brentwood about noon on a rainy & cold Thursday. Restaurant was doing really good business — they were working on a bunch of take-out orders that seemed to be giving them some fits. The food prep area displayed the food — everything looked fresh. I ordered the 3 item sampler with tabbouleh, hummus, falafel and added chicken. It also came with rice. It was $ 8.00 with tax(no drink) and was a lot of food for the price. The falafel was going to take a minute, so I sat down and started to eat. Started with the tabbouleh — it was very nice. Very crisp parsley, a little wet but not at all soggy. Mostly parsley with bulgar, not much going on in the way of tomatoes or other ingredients. Very clean, nice flavor, I really enjoyed the tabbouleh. Hummus was also very good — definitely home made. I’m not a huge rice fan and their rice was there, nothing special. Chicken was basically plain, not much seasoning(ok in my book). After a couple of minutes I went searching for the falafel and was finally handed. guess what. two overcooked discs. Besides being overcooked, they were pretty bland — nothing special. Tried their tatziki, again pretty bland. 95% of people seemed to be opting for the ranch. Restaurant appears to be family operated — the 25 year old guy working the register referred to the cook as ‘mommy’ a couple of times(so I hope they’re related :) Restaurant was clean, very comfortable, lots of people coming and going. Giving the restaurant 4 stars simply on the basis of the tabbouleh and a good value overall — I will definitely be back for that tabbouleh.
