Seabeck Pizza

I probably wouldn’t order here again. The people are really nice, but the quality of food is not impressive. The pizza is reminiscent of pizza hut, and I ordered a Caesar salad which was a stretch to call it that. They didn’t even have crutons, or parmesean cheese and served it with prepackaged lighthouse dressing. I ended up just making my own Caesar dressing (3 tblsp mayo, some fresh lime juice, a pinch of sugar, fresh minced garlic and the secret ingredient of a couple drops of Maggi seasoning sauce).

I had such high hopes for Seabeck Pizza. During the recent power outage, our go to pizza place for delivery was closed so on local recommendations and that we had a out of town visitor, we called Seabeck on Chico. Ordered two 14″ pizzas, one Italian and one Hawaiian. Delivery wait time we were told was 2 – 2.5 hours so we agreed to come pick up the order in 40 mins which was reasonable during dinner time. Walked in, smelled wonderful handed the nice man my $ 36.00 and left. Excited to get these two boxes home and opened them up to disappointment. Toppings were slim, especially on the Italian. Could hardly see anything but the sausage. The crust was thin and tasteless, the toppings were also. I really could not taste anything and neither did the three other people at the dinner table. I was actually shocked and embarrassed how bad these pizza were especially considering the cost. I just had Freschetta frozen pizza last week for five bucks that was easily three times as good as these two pizzas. I try to give local companies my business, but I’ll think I’ll stick with Round Table or even better Freschetta at Safeway! Sorry Seabeck… I don’t see what anyone sees in your expensive pizzas.

The employee young guy in his 20’s is very nice (sorry didn’t catch a name) order the thick crust pep. it really doesn’t disappoint! The crust is very crispy and the whole pizza is very cheesy:) Also they carry the best ice cream! They switch out the flavors but if they happen to have the apple pie don’t pass it up.

It’s pretty dirty and the staff does not follow proper food handling procedures. The sign out front says something like «Rapid Slice» but it takes 15 minutes to get a single slice.

Big pizza, big price, big on taste. Ordered special which was 1 topping pizza, bread sticks, large salad, and a 2 liter soda and it came to 25 dollars. Pizza was very good. I will be back.

They have the best pepperoni pizza ever! They make HUGE pizzas! They may be a little on the pricey side but it’s so worth it.

We love Seabeck Pizza, just not this location. There were tiny flies in the parmesan cheese on the table. There’s not a lot of seating. No fountain drinks. But the pizza is just as yummy as always! Don’t bother dining in here. Either pick it up or have it delivered.

Expensive, woman who claims to be owner was rude, pizza was served like slop for a pig. If you have to spend your money in Chico for food go to the 19^th hole Juanita’s or the garage. #rude

This place is hands down the BEST Pizza around, they may be a little pricier than most but you sure get what you pay for. The staff are ALWAYS friendly and attentive, Heather ROCKS!.. :) …If you want a QUALITY Pizza, spend a few more dollars and call these people up or stop in.

Here’s the deal. My best friend and I don’t share the same love for pizza. So when she asked if we could order delivery from a local pizza place, I jumped at the chance.
We called Seabeck pizza prior to ordering to make sure they deliver. They do!!!
After checking out their menu online we decided to order the Greek pizza with no pepperoni (per my besties request) and an order of their cheesy breadsticks with sauce. I almost choked on my saliva when I was given the total. The genuine nature of the guy taking our order did not outshine $ 33 for one pizza and some breadsticks. But you know what I like to do? Support local business. And I’d heard their pizza was damn good.
About an hour later a woman pulled up in a car across the street. We were so excited and starving and Hoping and praying it was our pizza delivery. We were so disappointed when she drove off. BUT… she was smoking, so all in all, we took it as a positive sign. Imagine our surprise when a woman called 15 minutes later saying she was lost with our pizza. The smoker was delaying the warm cheese sensation in out mouths. And had been contaminating our splurge! Sadness.
Delivery compete. Pizza box opening, drum roll please… our pizza was room temperature and dry. Our breadsticks were not delicious. The only semi-​satisfying part of our meal was the pizza sauce served on the side of our breadsticks which was cold. (Single tear)
In Seabeck pizzAs defense, perhaps we should have taken them up on their deal. 2 large 2 topping pizzas, 1 liter soda, breadsticks and hot wings for $ 28. But sadly, I would have been happier with a dominos delivery.

Seabeck’s crust places dead last in a life filled with countless pizzas. Best I can offer is, peel off the toppings; sit on the crust to watch football.

Years ago I went to the first location in Seabeck and loved it. Now that I returned home I wanted to try the pizza again, with so many locations now they must have really rocked it, not. Horrible. Paid way to much for pizza that tasted of previously frozen dough, over cooked, and cheap toppings. I swear I could have bought a frozen pizza from the grocery store and it would have tasted better. Hmmm cardboard.

I have had decent experiences with other Seabeck Pizza locations in the past, so I figured I would give this one a shot, since it is right around the corner from my house. What a mistake! We pulled up the web site and decided what we wanted, and called it in. Only stipulation was that we didn’t want mushrooms on the chicken alfredo pizza. Side note: all the prices on the web site are WRONG, you will pay a lot more than you think if you go off the web site prices. They told me about 30 minutes for carryout. Pretty mediocre, but this is a small joint, so I went with it. I rolled up at about 32 minutes, and my pizza wasn’t done. Okay, no big deal. Then I see the woman who rang me up looking at the pizza she had pulled out of the oven, then back at the ticket, then at the pizza again. Guess what? The ONE stipulation I had, no mushrooms, they couldn’t seem to follow! I was still not entirely upset. I asked if they could be picked off or if they were baked into the cheese. She said they could easily be picked off. Tell that to my wife, who spent 15 minutes ravaging the pizza to get all the mushrooms out! So not only are they incompetent, they are liars. The woman who rang me up, Heather (aka the liar), told me she could comp me on the next meal. What next meal? The first time I order from you, you screw it up? That’s not a good business practice! And to top it all off, the breadsticks sucked, too. Avoid this Seabeck Pizza location, and avoid all Seabeck Pizza locations if you don’t want to pay excessive prices for mediocre food.

Great service. Hearty crust with quality toppings and they don’t skimp on the cheese. I like that I can order a slice of anything anytime. This is our favorite pizza joint!

A friend of mine brought us BBQ chicken with pineapple and cheese pizzas. BBQ chicken pizza was absolutely delicious and I am hungry for it. Cheese pizza was ok. I wouldn’t order cheese pizza again for myself though. Nothing special about it. price is little more than other pizza places though.

Just passing through the area and spotted this place. Ordered their combination pizza and thought it was excellent. They make their own pizza dough and we were lucky enough to get a pizza from the most recent batch of dough. Nice pizza. Reasonable price. Fresh fixings on the pizza and lots of it. Friendly people.

A friend stopped in and brought us a Greek Pizza as take out. It was pretty darned good. That was 3 days ago and I am still dreaming about it. I give it 5 star for a Seattle pizza. Pizzas are better in Detroit and Chicago but you can’t get them here. ;-)

Went there for pizza and ended up gettting hot wings. They were good for the most part, kind of salty but with a little blue cheese, they weren’t bad at all. BF had Garlic Parmesean wings, he said the were good too.

Stopped in tonight to grab a pizza on my way home. Service was good. Ordered up a Large mushroom pizza and found the crust to be firm and crispy. Very well done. The pizza was a little overly cheesy for my tastes though and it over powered the sauce. Overall I thought it was a decent pizza though, nothing spectacular but nearing 15 dollars for a one topping pizza is getting into a price range where I’ll find somewhere a little cheaper and closer to home.
