Step back into time of the post war diners, good food good people, good company. Connoisseur? No, but you feel good eating there.

It took me far too long to read the menu. It wasn’t quite as long as a Dickens, more a Hemingway short story. My fiancé ordered the cheeseburger, fries, and a root beer. I got the taco omelette and a tomato juice. Both were edible. My omelette could have used some taco seasoning on the beef. It didn’t remind me of anything, but a greasy mess until I added the salsa. The décor is kitsch done poorly. The staff was friendly and attentive. Meh…

Food is adequate. The waiters were a bit strange. Looked to be an elderly couple. The religious propaganda strewn about in little spots was an odd touch. Good service, just a very creepy vibe from the workers and atmosphere. Guessing maybe they didn’t like a younger liberal couple in their restaurant. Just creepy.

Great food and service! Very reasonably priced. Will be back. I had the chicken strips and fries!

This place is pretty good. Very basic diner food. I had the BLT, my son and gf both had burgers and none of us had any complaints except the forgotten bacon on one of the burgers. My son introduced me to dipping my fries in the au jus dip he ordered and the au jus here is very good imo. Nothing special here but the food is good.

Three and a Half stars. Unilocal needs halfsies… The burgers, made with handmade patties, are really good — especially with a side of au jus to dip both burger and fries. It’s your typical Mom and Pop diner but they serve breakfast all day, which is a plus. I’d definitely come back and try other stuff since their menu has many options. Three of us and it was $ 30 so not too bad.

Cute little mom and pop. Very clean. Very friendly. Full of 50’s/route 66 décor. We stopped in needing a quick family dinner and it was perfect.

We’ve been here twice for breakfast… in the Bremerton area, this is the breakfast place you resort to when you can’t stick out the wait at Hi-Lo’s. The food is mediocre at best; the major issue here is that nothing tastes fresh and I have the overwhelming impression that everything is pre-cooked; the sausage has that once-frozen taste, and the bacon was burnt. I can visualize all the breakfast foods languishing on the griddle waiting to be ordered… Another indicator that the food is pre-cooked is that you cannot customize your order in the way of preparation(i.e. you cannot order a medium burger, they only serve well-done). Overall the staff seems friendly, however service is somehow still subpar; we ordered two waters and a coke and received one water, one coke, and only one straw. also, our food was delivered by a kitchen staffer and our waitress never returned until our tab was delivered. Not the worst service in the world, but bad enough to make me not want to return. We would consider trying this place for lunch, considering most of the 5-star reviews are of the lunch/dinner foods. but at the end of the day, you might as well hit up ihop or Denny’s.

We won a free meal to this diner a couple weeks ago. Had been there for lunch previously but decided to try them out for breakfast. We both loved the meal we got. I had the French toast and it was so good. The bacon, in particular, was super tasty! Can’t recall what Dave had but he loved it and we left stuffed! Definitely a good meal comes to you at A & C’s Diner!

Hole in the wall dinner that replaced one before that. Pretty good food, safe were not all that friendly but I have had worse. Will give it another try for sure though

Love this cute little restaurant! Couldn’t make up my mind which soup I wanted because all 3 sounded great but I had narrowed it down to two & the waitress came so I asked her which she would recommend. She said they’re both good, would you like to try a bit of both to help decide? Who does that?! She brought me two little bowls half full of each soup!(Like what you would get if you ordered a cup of soup!) She was right by the way, both were amazing & I’m glad I tried them because now I know how great the soups are there! They take the Kitsap Card there also so that is a bonus but the prices are super reasonable, especially considering it’s like having a home cooked meal at a little diner down the road! The only down side I’ve ever had is my own fault. I once tried to go there on the day they were closed. I should have looked it up first! Good thing it’s only a few minutes from home! Hope they stay in business a long time! Give them a try, I did & I’m happy I did!

It’s a typical mom and pop shop. Food is delicious and not something that’s frozen comes in a truck. Employees are attentive to customer needs. The crowd is typical WalMart crowd. If you care only about food and service, it is worth a try. Try fish and chips. They were little smaller in size than expected. So you may want to order bigger size than you desire.

We eat breakfast here a couple times a month. The portions are big and the food is fresh. It has a small town diner atmosphere.

I wasn’t very impressed with this place and probably won’t be going back. I ordered a western omelet and it came with all of the vegetables completely raw just stuck between the sides of a cooked egg disc. It was completely flavorless and the raw onions really killed it for me. My partner ordered a burger and fries and the fries were cold when they arrived. Our server had stains all over her shirt, which is just tacky even for a small diner. The coffee was pretty okay, basic folgers or whatever. All in all I would not recommend it and won’t go back unless there’s literally nowhere else in Bremerton open and I have no food at home.

I really, really love the idea of this place. I was driving around with a friend running errands and we decided that we really wanted to stop for lunch. Lunch had not originally been in our plans so we did not know where we wanted to go. There are a couple of diner-ish places in the area, and we were actually headed to a different one when we spotted this«hole in the wall» and got excited! I sat down and was immediately pleased to see that they offer standard diner fare. They also have a few items that you would probably call«signature», which every restaurant should. The thing that brought this review down to three out of five stars was definitely the service. Our server not only appeared unhappy to be at her job, but every opportunity she got she went and hid behind a pillar(though she didn’t hide very well, because we could see her standing there avoiding her job) and didn’t work. I had to flag her down and request a refill on my drink after it sat empty for quite some time… She did not offer any specials or let us know what the soups were… I suppose that’s not really fault, but one of the things I love about small places like this is that usually offer something that is unique for them or a special for the day. A lady who I can only assume is either the owner or the manager came over and asked us if our server had told us what the soups of the day were… We informed her that she had not and she let us know. Our server did not check on us or come make sure our food was alright… my friend specifically requested no mayonnaise. It’s not an allergy or anything but she thinks mayonnaises really gross… I had to scrape it off for her so that she could eat her sandwich because we could not find our server. We had to hunt her down just to get our check, and the server who had to go find her was clearly annoyed… It seems like this might be a regular issue for our server. Most likely, will give this place another try… We really like the vibe and the food was very tasty. However, if I had another service experience like I did the first time, I likely would not return again.

We wanted to stop at a place we hadn’t been before and am glad we chose here. The waitress was lighthearted, fun and served us well. I had the grilled turkey sandwich with fries, my wife the two piece fish with a salad. The fries are to live for, homemade and as yummy as I have ever had. The salad was cut into bite sized pieces with tomato that my wife thought was vine ripened. She loved the fish and I my sandwich. The place in decorated in vintage diner style, the carpet could use shampooed, but everything else was clean and kept. BTW while we were there a woman and her son came in and picked up a take out order, so they may not have done it on 6÷22÷2014 but they do take out now.

One of the best places in Bremtucky. fresh, homemade goodness. Love the pot roast sandwich, but everything I have had at breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am sad that they stopped having lots of baked goods, since Bremerton is lacking in that department, but man, so glad they put their energies into homemade food.
