Great lookouts! Highly recommended. Price? — We booked 1 night online but once we actually arrived we instantly extended our stay for 1 more night, and the hotel staff gave us a great price!

I loved my stayed here I had book a room with no fire place, But i asked the front desk agent if my room was the one like the picture, she said no and my room have no fire place aww, to my surprise when we got upstairs and look at our beautiful room and view we where like wow already the. Looking around we realized we got a cute bigger room with a beautiful fire place . I Am so thankful the service here was so great, is nice to just leave your car not having to do any driving because you have a driver by the door, I will go back to breckenridge just to stay here.

Decided not to stay in Vail… felt a bit too much like just a ski resort… stumbled on The Lodge on Unilocal and we are so glad we did! As we drove up the mountain we were awed with the views! After checking in(very friendly staff), we changed into our suites, grabbed a beer at the bar and headed for the hot tub on the deck. WOWOW! We haven’t felt that relaxed in a very long time! We enjoyed a great dinner in the restaurant downstairs. Started with the Shrimp and Grits appetizer and loved it! We both had the burger for our main — and ordered a dessert to take to our room. Very comfortable bed — nice sized room — had a fireplace that we didn’t use. Can’t wait to go back again and try some hiking in the area!

Things have changed here at the Lodge. Updates have come at a cost that you can’t put a dollar value on, however. Perhaps I’m becoming pickier? Perhaps the shiny newness of this place wore off for me since it was my second visit? The antler adornments are no where to be found. The breakfast was less than last year, with labels lacking on a few drink options, less fruit, and only blueberry batter for waffles. No label there, either, so I wasted batter after seeing the blue streaks in my little batter cup. Gone are the hard boiled eggs & bananas… the space looks nicer, sure, but that mountain charm that was here last year has been compromised for it. And the lovely deck was covered in snow from yesterday’s storm. My man & I were both surprised they wouldn’t want to shovel it off to minimize tracking into the Lodge. Still nice to be a little away from the hustle & bustle of Main street, though, and you still get friendly service.

I love the lodge! The views are fantastic. everybody at the lodge are very welcoming and nice! The shuttle drivers are extremely friendly and accommodating. Front desk, Jenna and Karen were sweet and made you feel right at home. I would definitely be back in December with family!
