We had a party of 20 people and the team at Quandary Grille was great! They helped me set a great menu and a drink special that fit our budget. Jen and her team really made the whole experience amazing!

Long time skier, first time back in Breck in a few years. This is an excellent place for casual apres with THE best service experience. Jen, the GM, is exemplary in her efforts to insure your experience is the best. We visited 3 of our 4 days. Good excellent, service excellent.

This place started off great but slowly declined through out the evening. First, on a Friday night we were able to get a table for 4 immediately, great. Second, food was great I had the the fatty burger(it’s most likely called something else), and it was great(not as great as Ollie’s). Lastly, this experience could have been made better if the wait staff was on it a bit better. It was not overly crowded and we waited a fair amount of time for appetizers… I will concede that I do not know the situation of the wait staff(they could have been short staffed) and do not blame our waitress. Overall I would recommend this restaurant because the service can easily change.

Bar tenders made fabulous drinks while we had a short wait. The appetizers(especially the egg rolls)– were amazing. Food was definitely better then typical«bar» food. They were able to accommodate our large group and every enjoyed their food(which is rare for our group of picky eaters). The atmosphere was casual but nice. There are several large tvs so no one misses a game. Service was prompt and attentive restaurant was extremely clean. Will defiantly try to go back.

Spent a short time here for apres ski. Had the quesadilla appetizer and spinach and artichoke dip which were good. The wait staff was awesome and they were constantly refilling our waters. They have a good amount of tvs and overall good atmosphere.

We were really impressed with the service! My son had the ribs and drank water. His cup was always filled without a long wait. We had the egg rolls and steak quesadillas. We all enjoyed our food and the atmosphere. The place sits right by a ski left and regardless of how many filled up the restaurant, our service did not change. The bartender was very helpful when selecting our craft beers and provided quality service!

Having just become a property owner at Main Street Junction, we just can in for lunch. Having been here a few times a couple years ago we did not remember what it was like. Surprised by the food and the service. It wasn’t too busy at the time. My wife had a Portabella Stack and I had Street tacos. Both had phenomenal flavors. I am a foodie and know flavor. Surprised at some of the bad reviews previous. It will be our go to when we don’t want to cook. And delivery too

Awesome restaurant! The food was delicious and cooked very well. The chicken on the fettuccine Alfredo was very moist. The service was excellent and on top of not only my table but all the tables in their station. The whole staff was friendly and very polite. The food came out in a timely manner and we were never kept waiting for anything we needed. I would definitely recommend if you want a good meal while in Breckenridge!

Great happy hour place. We sat on the deck, which was sunny and beautiful. $ 3 house wines are actually decent(Canyon Rd., Concha Y Toro), and a really nice selection of $ 3 beers(New Belgium, Deschutes, more). My Oscar Blues Dale’s Pale Ale was perfect for the day — a nice reco from our waitress, at a great price. We didn’t eat, but the 2-for-1 appetizers looked pretty generous(lots of fried goodies, nachos, wings, spinach dip).

Nice enough. Great location and nice view of the mountains. The nachos were spectacular but the fish tacos a little on the small and bland side. Tasty beer. They need to fix the wooden fence around the outside dining area, it;s literally falling apart.

Where do I begin… The weekend started off as a birthday celebration and a beer festival, and ended with horrendous stomach pain and an ashamed significant other. What could go wrong with grabbing a quick bite to eat after some delicious brews? A rib-eye steak at Quandary Grille, that’s what. As I muscled down my gullet the taste of over-charred rubbery fat on an otherwise notoriously delicious slab of beef, I kept thinking to myself«well, at least I won’t be hungry anymore…» In hindsight, that thought would be the biggest mistake I’ve made so far in my short week tenure of being in my 30s. After paying 40+ dollars for just my portion of the bill for this devil spawn that was simmering in my stomach, we decided to go back to our wonderful villa for some hot love making. Let’s just say, there was no love to be made. My stomach began to grumble, and the bubble guts began to set in. I could feel my abdominal cavity begin to cry as my large intestine was attempting to escape my body. Then comes the pain. Oh god the sharp pain that began to fester in my pelvis, I apologized to my lady — I need a few minutes«alone.» And that when it started. Pure Armageddon. I personally believe I voided the warranty on the toilet and expect an up-charge coming once they clean the room. I had the most unbelievable bouts of gas, firing violently out of my poop shoot, over and over. And over. And over. For 5 – 6 trips to the toilet, I probably let off enough gas to send George W. after my weapons of mass destruction. Have you ever let off a fart that you could say the alphabet, in reverse, only to finish with the gurgling tootles of what seems to be your colon blasting out of your ass? No? Well — trust me, you don’t want to. The putrid smell that erupted from my keister, actually still smelled like that deplorable cut of cow, so I knew that the Quandary Grille had to be the culprit. I can only wish horrible stomach pains and embarrassing bouts of trumpet butt to the asshole that purchased/cooked/served me that self-esteem killer. Here’s to hoping my lady doesn’t leave me here. Wouldn’t recommend. To even my worst enemy.

Love the Burgers! Right from Colorado! The Quandary Burger is a must have. We also had the Flat Iron Steak with mash. Our bartender Steve was awesome. We ate at the bar and he was super attentive. Some places get annoyed with people who eat at the bar but he was very welcoming and loved chatting to us about the menu. He was stoked about the veggie of the day!(Green beans) Definitely coming back. Great place to watch Sports also! It’s wide open so anywhere you sit is a good view not only of the TVs but Maggie’s Pond and the Mtn!

Happy hour Specials were great: 2 for 1 apps and $ 3 drafts. Atmosphere was amazing with a great patio near water; you could even challenge friends in a game of bags if you like. Food was so-so. Wings were good, nachos were huge, but not the best.

WONDERFULPLACE! I came in the off season and there is only one other group eating here. Veiw is beautiful, restraunt has a great interior. Friendly staff. Very good food. It is a little overpriced but it’s expected for a tourist town. When I come to Breckinridge I will eat here again.

We went for our skiing lunch break instead of eating at the overpriced places on the mountain, or even a short walk away(Maggie’s). There was almost no one in the restaurant, which has both inside and outdoor seating. It’s a nice peaceful setting and while there’s nothing particularly special about the food – our burger and beef stew were fine – it’s a nice place to take a midday break or unwind at day’s end. Sister restaurant to Taddeo’s Italian restaurant a short walk away.

This is a great choice for happy hour after a day on the slopes. Usually, we hang out at the place in the base lodge. This was much better. Super service, a great bar and the food was much better than what you find in the base lodge. We had the wings, chips w/guac, pulled pork sliders, and cheese sticks. Were they the best that we ever had? No, but they were really good and a lot better than the stuff we had in the base lodge the day before.

Stay away! From a breck local! Waited 10 mins for seat, 10 more for drink menu, and maybe 40 minutes for average food? There’s so many better restaurants that deserve your business. Slow and dumb staff that was unapologetic. Only reason they are still in business is because of the nice patio and proximity to ski hill…

This was supposed to be our inexpensive dinner night, but it wasn’t exactly that and it was pretty disappointing, nonetheless. Wait times were 30+ minutes for most of the places on main street, so we stumbled over to the peak 9 base area and saw the Quandary in a quiet corner. This was mistake number one, since we didn’t even bother to Unilocal the place or anything beforehand, we all just wanted to eat, a bit too impulsively. We walked in and were seated immediately in the less than 50% full restaurant, which feels more like a bar. The menu had typical bar food, but also an interesting assortment of entrees. Half of our crew got burgers, one got the rotisserie chicken, one the fish tacos, and myself the steak tacos. The chicken was probably the best out of everything, based on all of our reactions. Feedback on the burgers was fair, but I’d still say nothing special. The steak tacos were also slightly under, to at best, mediocre. They were pretty dry and even with the provided limes seemed to lack the flavor one would expect from a complete taco. I almost liked the side of rice and beans more. The most striking of all our dinner was without a doubt the fish tacos. I didn’t personally try them but my friend said they were completely awful and he had to really try hard to finish them. We did think the Caesar salad, onion rings and French fries were decent. The service was kind of slow, but we didn’t expect much. The thing that really turned us off about the place was the price. We’d probably be a little less disappointed in our experience if the food was much cheaper. The burgers were overpriced at over $ 10 each and the entrees were also not up to par. We each shelled out around $ 20 for a dinner that was supposed to be inexpensive, and it wasn’t even that good! Also, our group of 5 asked for individual checks and 22% gratuity was randomly added to everyone’s check Not a fan!

Second time eating here. Nothing great, but not terrible either. Seems like you can usually get a table without waiting an hour like at other places which tells you something. Started with the mozzarella sticks and onion rings, both of which were great. The fish tacos were luke warm and not much on flavor. The ½ chicken seemed to be pretty good. They have a decent selection of beers as well although they were out of my first two choices.

We ventured over to Quandary Grille for lunch during my bachelorette weekend in Breckenridge. The food was pretty good! The girls were raving about the turkey melt and I enjoyed my salad. The views were absolutely stunning and we even enjoyed a wedding that took place in front of Maggie Pond. I may or may not have cried during the wedding(blaming the margaritas)… Service was mediocre but we weren’t concerned as we had minimal expectations(mountain/vacation mentality). Our server was drinking(with us, might I add) and was clearly in party mode as he was raving about leaving work to head directly to Red Rocks for a show. To us, his demeanor was funny; to anybody else, it may have been a disappointment. Overall, a great spot for lunch!
