Late and the service to help me get settled in was wonderful. It’s a little older but very charming. The room is clean and is very close to downtown Breck. I can’t get over the views. Great pool and hot tub as well. This is a place to remember for the future and I would recommend to anyone, especially a group of friends looking for a place to stay up here.

The room was nice and the facility as well. The reason for the lower score is a persistent smell of marijuana in the hallways and lobby. Not sure if it was the guests, or staff, or both. I did see one staff member get out of a weed-​reeking car one morning as she went into work.
I realize it is legal in Colorado, but when my kids keep asking «what’s that weird smell?», I’ve got to consider other places to stay next year.

Friendly staff and our room was clean. We took a hike recommended by their local hiking expert. It was beautiful. We were very comfortable during our short stay. The lodge has an excellent location, away from the hustle of Breckenridge, but also close enough that you can go out for a nice evening if you like.

My husband and I stayed here for a week. A few things I look for in a hotel is service, cleanliness, location, and amenities.
Service/​staff: I new this stay was going to be a great experience from the day before when I called to confirm our reservation. I believe I spoke with Jennifer and she was one of the most friendly people ever! She was so nice and sounded genuinely excited to have us stay there. She quickly assured us that our room would be ready. Check in time was 4pm but if we planned to be early just to give them a call so they can make sure the room was ready. Checking was very smooth, gave us a packet with hotel information, keys and towels for the pool! Everyone was super friendly! I loved when the staff are excited you are there as you are!
Cleanliness: very clean! There was some remodeling going on but this is to be expected since we stayed here during the off season. Room was clean, as was pool and gym. My only recommendation is that they put a towel and spay bottle in the gym so the equipment can be wiped off after use.
Location: located about 5 miles from the town center of Breckinridge. You will need a car to get to and from town. I liked that it was a little secluded and very peaceful. If you want a retreat out of the city this would be the place to go. Very quite! Also right across the street from a popular trail!
Amenities: wonderful! Our room had a full kitchen (it was nice to cook our own food and not have to go out to eat every meal) nice living room with plenty of seating and a big flat screen tv! Full bathroom with tub/​shower and separate bedroom with two queen beds and another TV! Kitchen was fully stocked with coffee maker, microwave, toaster, utensils, all dishes! Big pool and 12 person hot tub with jets! Also has a small gym.
Notes: check out is 10am, you will be charged on a per hour basis of you stay longer.
