Very cool little bead shop tucked into a side alley right behind the Spice Shop. A must stop for the beader and crafter. Beautiful beads and accessories including silver charms, buttons, rubber stamping, art supplies and colored seed beads. Reasonable pricing and helpful staff, especially, Hattie. She is very helpful. Hattie does feather extensions so that is a plus while shopping for beads. She did feathers for me today. I reside in area during summertime so this is a plus!

I went to the store while visiting Breckenridge, and found some unusual and special beads that fit just what I need and like. I’m always looking for vintage, antique or foreign pieces that I can incorporate into my pieces that I make with antique glass micro beads. I found unique pieces(Japanese fine ojime beads, bone inlaid with abalone in the shape of small insects, fine carved agate in shape of acorns, tiny paper mache pieces). While small, the store was VERY well organized and laid out carefully. The staff person there was very nice and helpful. I’ve subsequently spoken with the owner(to buy some more beads) and she was equally friendly. I’d definitely go back if I ever went to Breckenridge again. I thought that, for the quality that they had, the prices were good. I tend to buy higher end beads however.

Mountain towns = finding beads This wasn’t my favorite bead store, but I did find a couple of things. It felt a little cramped and as a greedy beady I am not a fan of buying single beads I am a strand girl and they didn’t have a large selection of strands and I felt they were priced a bit higher than I am used to paying. If I lived up there I would appreciate the fact that the store offers beads, scrapbooking material, and art supplies!
