By far, the worst Starbucks store/outlet! My daughter and I had to wait for 15 mins for a tall double chocolaty chip frapuccino and there were only 2 other customers at that time! Really? Is there something special about your drinks at this location that it took you 15 mins to make? They didn’t even apologize for the wait time. It’s as if I owe them something for getting my drink. Never ever will I go back and a piece of advice, why don’t you just close this store?

I ordered 2 Iced peach green tea lemonade. How do you mess up the drink 3 times!!! Also had to wait 25 – 30 Minutes for my drinks. Oh I know if the employees stopped having conversions that was not necessary while working they wouldn’t mess yup the drink! Its one thing messing it up once but three times!!! You got to be kidding me. Worst experience I have ever had at a Starbucks!

This Starbucks is located inside Macy’s store. I come here when i’m at the mall and there’s always wait. I fell bad for the workers sometimes though because they’re short on staff sometimes. The longest I have waited for my order was about 25 mins. The worker there is apologizing while she making someone’s drink. That’s the only reason why I don’t complain while I’m waiting because I used to work in a fast food restaurant it was the same drama. I like how there nice about it and they’re always trying there best to make everyone’s order when I’m there.

I gave it one star because there is no option for zero stars. This is the worst Starbucks ever, a complete shame to this chain. We went in at 2:15 pm and we ordered a drink and two waters with no ice, and Khryztine was super rude rolling her eyes and asking what brownie I wanted even though there was only one kind, and then she gave us the water first WITH ice, and after reminding her no ice, she rolled her eyes again, didn’t bother to change it and walked back to the cashier. And then after waiting for 30 minutes, the last drink arrived different from what I ordered. So, we had to wait for another 15 minutes for them to make the correct drink. We left this Starbucks at 3:07 pm. Even though there was a line at all the Satrbucks, almost an hour wait is to exaggerated for 6 people up front.

I was excited when Starbucks opened in the mall. It’s more convenient than the one in Macy’s home, but twice now I have gone and ordered my usual ice coffee and twice I have been told they are out of coffee and they had to run to another store to get more. How does Starbucks run out of coffee? The staff is horrible as well. No customer service skills at sll.

I was rather surprised to find this hidden Starbucks. It’s located inside the Brea Mall, on the second floor entrance of the Macy’s — the one closest to the Food Court. It’s got a limited menu, but it’s a lot less busy than the other Starbucks at the main floor atrium. I would assume that it would get packed at certain times, but just never when I’m around. I ordered an Ice Coffee with 2 Equal and when tasting my beverage after mixing in Half & Half, I couldn’t taste the sweetness. I believe they forgot to add the bags of sweetener. I read a few reviews and the same problem. They mess up your drinks. Nothing gets a java lover more upset than a wrong drink. I mean, they could probably fuck it up 87,000 different ways, due to the sheer number of drink combinations. Regardless, it’s just a small ass coffee shop, designed by Starbucks to bully around the competition with their infinite number of stores. Maybe, you should just go to the regular one on the first floor. Seems like all the talent might be over there. STARBUCKSSECRETMENU Created for fans by the fans, this is a handy website that shows all the hush hush drinks, teas, and frappuccinos. Like David Letterman, they too have Top 10 Lists. Did you know that they recently rolled out a new drink size, the biggest size available, called the Trenta?( )

I always get the café espresso frappé at every Starbucks location, ever since it came out. However, I find that the price for my café espresso frappé at this location is more expensive than other Starbucks that I go to… why? It’s like they add $ 1 extra or something because at other locations, I pay $ 5ish… but here it’s $ 6ish… The only reason why I go here is because I’m a Macy’s employee and that I get a stamp card here and discount if I use my Macy’s card. I give it a 3 stars because the girls who work there are nice… :/

Let’s start off by saying that I drink Starbucks at least 6times a week and I usually don’t have any complaints so for me to write a negative reviews means it had to be pretty bad. I come to brea mall weekly and I’m a girl who can not shop without her Starbucks. The past couple times I came here they made my drink wrong each and every time urghh. What a waste of money. Once I had them remake the same drink three times because it tastes like water, wasn’t blended all the way to where there were still chunks and then they blended it so much it became so runny. At that point I just gave up. Today I came and this guy made me a green tea frap. It was so icy that it didn’t look like there was any liquid in there so I had him add a little more milk. After adding the milk, he poured it back into my cup & it didn’t take a genius to figure out that it was overfilled but he still tried to put a flat cap on it instead of a dome lid and because of this all the green tea dripped all around the cup. Did I mention his finger went into the straw hole! Both my bestfriend and I caught that and stared at each other in disgust! He saw our faces thinking it was because the green tea was all over the cup so he took a towel(that they cleaned the counters with, instead of a new napkin) and wiped it! *BARF. Thank god my bestfriend is one of the managers at Starbucks! We took the drink to a different one && had someone else remake it for me. Don’t come to this one! I heard hey have a Starbucks downstairs now!

Nothing special about this Starbucks. It’s located inside Brea Mall inside the Macy’s men and home store near the food court. Upon entering, you see an opening… but it’s actually the exit. You have to walk around to the right to get to the entrance. There’s some seating available. It’s unique in that it is located inside a Macy’s, next to housewares and bedding. Makes you want to drink coffee and take a nap? I have no personally had any problems with my coffee here as some others have mentioned. The coffee tastes about the same to me… but then again, I much prefer Coffee Bean. I just go to Starbucks because it’s everywhere! Oh wait, I did have a problem before. They wouldn’t let me use a coupon that was emailed to me before. They could just have entered the code like at any other Starbucks… but no, they wanted me to PRINT it out and give it to them! My friend and I got upset and left!

The first time I came here was with a friend in March. I went for ½ off fraps day, and they made the perfect twix frappuccino. At least the best I had. The location is really weird, right next to the cooking and bedding of Macy’s home. Even the entrance is weird. They have the entrance to the store, but then it doesn’t lead you to the line. No, to get to the line, you have to enter Macy’s itself, and then go all the way around to get to Starbucks. And lastly, no rewards on gold card. Even using a gold card was a pain last time! They have o use a specific machine to do so. At least in March, the barista was good enough to have the ingredients needed for the special menu frap!

This Starbucks is located on the second floor in the Macy’s furniture department right by the door that leads to the mall. The line gets super long and the cashier who is an old lady is super slow and she don’t give a ish. She does what she wants. She allowed someone she knew to cut the line. She told her that she didn’t have to wait in line because by the time she got to her, her break would be over. uhh ok? there are other people on their breaks too from other stores and you still made them wait in line. that is so unfair! With her being super slow, their breaks are probably over already! She couldn’t hear one of the customers and when she finally heard her order she told her«oh thats why i can’t hear you» That was rude of her! They have complimentary water at the pick-up window but they make you use those wimpy cups that you usually get in hotel rooms.

The worst Starbucks I have ever been too and I’ve gone to plenty, even overseas. I know you don’t come to Starbucks expecting gourmet coffee, but you come knowing there is a standardization .The lady made my drink wrong, when I told her this isn’t easy on ice she just scooped some out and filled it with fat milk. Plus the caramel for my drink was suppose to be at the bottom not on top. Nearly $ 4 bucks for a 12 oz drink I expect better

Located inside the Macy’s store in the Brea mall. Maybe because it was Black Friday weekend, but they had the whole café cordoned off to corral people in the line. Like a bank, can’t step over the line till they call. So unwelcoming. We ordered 2 Grande Frappaccino Caramel Brulee flavor. We got the regular Caramel after waiting a long time. Not worth it to have them fix it. I hope those didn’t cost more… hmm…

Filled my drink to the brim? No problem, please, pour it out till its back down to the next«mark» on the cup that indicates the fill line. I’ll just stand here and watch you pour my precious and paid drink partly down the drain. no problem!

Located in the Brea mall, this place is pretty small. The line does get long and the place isn’t really that comfortable to go and study or sit and have some coffee with your friends. Just not the greatest place, but I guess if you really need a pick me up you can get a cup from here. The entrance is a little bit confusing. They make you walk inside Macy’s section. It is located on the Mens section and home side on the second floor. If you are near the food court just walk to Macys and you will see Starbucks on your left side.

This location is inside Macy’s Home store on the top floor. There are a gazillion Starbucks so everyone knows about the fare. The best thing about this Starbucks is the speediness. There is rarely a line. Service is quick. The worst thing about this locale is the lack of seating and the size. The place looks crowded if there are five people milling about.

Starbucks in Macy’s? Whaaat? In the bedroom department??? You want your coffee and then all of a sudden feel like you need to buy some new bed sheets because your old ones are gross? You picked the right place! Oh wait, but you’re not looking for bedding? Well that’s okay, right across the way is home appliances including coffee makers so you never have to go to Starbucks again! But you will because it feels good being at a Starbucks. This Starbucks has to be appropriate for Macy’s standards and Starbucks standards so imagine having two different bosses wanting two different set of goals you have to abide by! This means this place is ran the right way with a strong work ethic and good quality drinks to come with it. Just talk to the staff and you’ll be impressed.

This is the funniest Starbucks I have ever been to. Staff was great! I came here based on a review by Ashley V.( ). Please read hers if you plan on coming. Ok, I didn’t just come here for her review, but because I had to pick up something from the ground floor. I purposely came to this particular Macy’s over South Coast just to try the Starbucks. I typically cannot stand Starbucks with the exception of two locations, including this one based on Service and Location. Service I am not a fan of Starbucks. Here, the hostess went over several drinks and came up with one based on what I like. I told her what my favorite drinks were including strawberry milkshakes and strong coffee. She suggested a «newer» product. I cannot even remember the name. It was strawberry banana shake like drink with one shot of espresso. I know it sounds kinda grose, but it wasn’t. The espresso actually complimented the drink not making it so sweet. It was bizarre I would even like this drink, but the hostess suggested it! Thanks. Location This was way, way to funny. It is located near the entrance of the second floor. There are two Macy’s in this mall. Woman’s and the Childrens/Mens/Home. Go to the Childrens/Mens/Home location if you are looking for this. The funny thing is that it is surrounded by beds. It was such a weird feeling buying coffee in a bedroom. Anyways, so I give this rating not based on the product, but on the hostess at this location who suggested something that was brand new for me. If you come here, get them to do the same for you!
