Starbucks

My friend and I were hanging out in this plaza after going to 24 hour fitness and Kabuki and I wanted to try the new strawberry açai cooler with coconut milk that everyone has been raving about. The barista explained to me what was in the drink and made the drink promptly. I really enjoyed it and I’ll be adding this to my list of Starbucks drinks now.

Yesterday was my first time at this Starbucks. & today is my second day. Both days there has been 1 person taking orders and making the drinks & there has been a long line both times. I come to this Starbucks because it’s really close to my job. But it’s more of an inconvenience than being convenient. Yesterday I was almost late to work because of this issue. I almost left without getting a drink because it took too long. It’s really dumb how they don’t schedule 2 people at a time at least. Today I left without a drink. I arrived more than 10 min before I start work and it’s now 8:29 and sill didny get my drink order.
I won’t come to this Starbucks again. It’s ridiculous

Maranda was the barista and she was working alone with a decent size line. Her work ethic and smile didn’t change under the pressure. Good job and she made a great drink.

Yay i am regular! Kim is my favorite. I feel solid when i see her work here to make my coffee. She always makes my americano right. She greets customers but doesnt talk much. Yes, making the coffee right is more important than chit chat with customers, I believe.
I only come to this Starbucks in Brea. Not as crowded. Not only that, the price is reasonable. Did you know not all Starbucks charge the same rates? The starbucks by the freeway is so bad they always make my Americano taste like sawage.

whenever i come to target and i see the line, i have to decide how badly i want a trenta green tea. but the line is always so long!!! they are usually short staffed. if I’m desperate i’ll brave the line. if not i tell myself i can stop by the one in DT Brea.

Came to Target so my brother could shop more. I needed a mid afternoon cup of Joe. I asked my Dad to stand in line while I paid for my things. Well, we finished, and there were still 2 customers ahead of him. Apparently there was just 1 guy taking orders and making drinks. His co-​worker was leaving for the day. I was thinking this is going to take forever!
More customers followed and the line was getting longer. Yeah, it took longer than usual. And yeah, I’ve had a better Americano & Macchiato (bro). But I’ve gotta give this guy props. Not once did he get frazzled or give anyone attitude. He was a pro, efficiently making every drink to order, and cleaned his station as he finished each order. The line continued to form as rush of people came and went. The whole gang just sat with our drinks at the café while this guy went solo for 30 + minutes. He rocked! This guy needed a tip jar as I would have given him some. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind a raise :)

Maybe I’m just lucky?
Every time I come here I get parking right out front, I never have to wait in line, and the employees are always friendly. Sounds too good to be true but I just consciously realized today that I am very happy with this location and my coffee each and every visit.

It’s just okay. I think I would have rated this location better if the girl would have taken my order right. I wanted a salted caramel mocha espresso… I got an iced salted caramel mocha with whip cream on top. What?! The lady was really nice so I couldn’t bring myself to say anything. Oh and they don’t take promo codes. I had one I couldn’t use so that kind of bummed me out too. Oh well

I have been to several other Starbucks in the Brea/​Fullerton area, and can say this one is the best!!! The staff is always very friendly; they work hard to remember your name, and it has a very family type of atmosphere. I especially appreciate how they take time to talk with you a little bit. I know that this can frustrate those who are in a hurry, but it’s the little moments like when they smile and ask how you are, and they are truly interested, is what makes this Starbucks so special.

Normally the employees are pretty good. It can seem slow at times but it’s only one employee most of the time.
I do need to note the girl who turned us away just before closing with lights out on a Saturday… It isn’t like there would be a rush of people behind us… Only annoyed because we came here for Starbucks and detergent. Only got the detergent and it was JUST before 9pm…
But in general, good stop for a drink while you shop. just a bit slow.

Starbucks is a chain so I’m only reviewing on the service and maintenance of the store.
Service was mediocre. There wasn’t much to complain about when ordering and getting my drink. Still, for excellent service, could be friendlier.
The place was just dirty. The tables were not clean and felt unsanitary to just sit in certain places. The floor had bits and piece of trash. The restroom was definitely under cared for.

Pretty slow for a Starbucks
