Oakley Brea

This is nice location with helpful customer service. I came here to buy a few Christmas presents and they were really cool about giving me boxes to wrap my gifts in. I stopped by last week to buy some Flight Deck Prizms and was in and out within minutes so I see myself regularly coming back. I wish their store was bigger and they provided more snow gear though, only snow gear at this location is goggles.

I had a bad experience with a return I was attempting to make today. I had purchased a product (a jacket) online at
and know that it can be returned at any oakley retail store with proper documentation. The store rep was either not trained or avoiding to process the return for whatever reason they have. They told me I had to do the return by mail but when I called the main customer service number I was told that all retail stores can process returns. To make a longer story short I ended up going down to the Irvine Spectrum store location where they processed the return for me without any issues.

Good service Donnie really helped me get the pair of sunglasses I want. Not only was he handsome but extremely helpful

Came here needing casual sunglasses because I misplaced my pair of Oakley sunglasses. This place is located closer to the Macy side of the mall on the second floor. Walked into the store and browsed around to see which sunglasses I was going to get that day. Took about 15 min and found one I thought was pretty much what I was looking for. Except, I had to do some customization because I didn’t like the current colors on them. They had some shiny grey O’s on the side and I changed them to black. After I got my sunglasses customized, they got washed in the fancy washing machine for glasses. Overall, I’m content with what I got.
Customization cost an additional $ 20.

This review is not about Oakley products, since people reading this know the quality of them. This review is about the kind of service I received from this particular Oakley location.
So, after getting my prescription glasses from another Oakley location I decided to get my son and my daughter Oakley glasses too. I came to the Brea location as it is much closer to my house,
I called and made an appointment with Jacob., Little did I know I was going to get help from one of Oakley’s best employees. Jacob is one of the most helpful, knowledgeable employees I have encountered in my life! And I mean from every single store I have ever purchased something. He is definitely there in the top five. He will make sure you leave the store satisfied with your purchase and goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied.
I hate when I go to a store and my kids are placing an order or asking a question and they get totally ignored or the employee would answer me or ask me additional questions. I always tell them «they are the ones asking you the questions, not me.» I would understand if your kid is a toddler, but mine are 11 and 13; perfectly capable of asking questions. Jacob treated them like people since the first second they walked in the store. He asked them the questions and showed them frames that he knew they would like based on his conversation with them. That alone earned points in my book. If there was anything he needed to tell us he made sure he would address my wife and I,.
All I have to say is that after my experience with Jacob I will make all my Oakley purchases from this location,
Do yourself a favor, if you need prescription glasses go visit Jacob. You wont regret it, Service doesn’t get better than this.

Can’t say enough about the excellent buying experience I had here. I came into the store two times before making a purchase. Walking into the store, I’d expected to run into the usual high school kid who’s less than pleased to be there and just wants to throw any pair of glasses on my face in order to get me on my way. Not so here! Both the associates (a Mike and a Donnie) I interacted with, were abundantly helpful and really seemed to enjoy their work. I explained to Mike the types of activities I do and that I wanted to find a pair of sunglasses that had interchangeable lenses and wouldn’t get in my way (or worse, fall off my face). Mike took about half and hour walking me through the Oakley product line from A-​Z, explaining the various types of frames, demonstrating the benefits of each lens type (I quickly learned that there was a lens type for virtually every activity under the sun… pun intended), customization options, etc.
I settled on the a pair Fast Jackets with two different sets of lenses to suit my needs, and couldn’t be more pleased. My second day of having them, I wore them while sculling; lo and behold and to my horror, I flipped my shell and, when I emerged from the water, was sure that I’d just lost my new babies. Again, not so! They stuck to my head like glue and actually seemed to hold to better when there was some moisture present (not sure if this is a design feature or an unexpected benefit).
Can’t say enough good things about this store, the sales associates, and the whole product line. I hope all Oakley stores have as good of customer service as this one does.

I was here about three weeks ago… Great service! yet has not enough sizes on most shirt designs… I love Oakley sunglasses!

Im glad to see Oakley store in brea mall i just bought my first pitbull eyewear i love the mattblack color and the style fits perfectly ill be back to buy more stuff from them.

LOVE this place. At first I was annoyed because they closed down the accesories shop that was in their spot but once I went in and saw all of their cute workout clothes and sunglasses, I forgave them. I bought a pair of their Commit shades for when I work out in the park on Saturdays. They are supposed to be the best at blocking out all the harmful rays. We shall see…

Newly opened Oakley store in the Brea mall!!! Has a good selection of items and really good service! Met two of the workers, Adam and Justin who were very nice and helpful.
There’s a pretty good selection of sunglasses for both men and women to try on akin with different types of clothing and accessories. A great store to browse around if you are a fan of Oakley products like I am!
Located near GameStop in the center of the mall.
