Hacienda Market & Snack Bar

This is a family oriented business which offer great meals. Hamburgers are awesome as well as trip tip sandwiches. Very friendly and very high on Brawley sporting events! I really like spending time with Mario and Hacienda crew!

This is a very quaint sports themed local place. I happen the drive-​through probably many times a year so this was a nice discovery. They have breakfast and lunch. They offer burritos and the burgers looked great and got good reviews. They also have Mexican plates and I decided upon the carne asada plate. It is too nice size pieces of meat with rice and beans for $ 9.75. Normally I don’t like Carne Asada but this was juicy and seasoned and tasted fantastic wrapped in a warm fresh tortilla with some guacamole on it and a splash of salsa every bite was as delicious as the last.
Parking is out front or in the dirt lot on the side. The restroom was very clean. They also have a wide assortment of drinks sweet tea, fresh brewed iced tea, Mexican flower drinks, And an assortment of sodas.
Next time I come back I’m in a try one of the burgers and I’m going to try onion rings as well.

Me and my husband LOVE this place. The food is so good, I’ve ordered at least half the menu and would order all of it again. Nothing is less than awesome! ! The owners are so much fun, they are super friendly and really care. Everyone that works here looks like they’re having a great time. I got the taquito plate today. DELISH. My hub got the «smashbro» burger (named after a boy who was killed) and Fries with cheese.
Sweet tea is bomb also!

We often shop at Hacienda Market & Snack Bar. It is usually a good shopping experience. They have good selections and also carry some HEB products so one does not have to pay the higher prices for everything. We especially like the meat department as we feel they quality is much higher than your usual grocery store. Also, Tim, the wine demonstration guy, is especially nice.

This is a family owned restaurant that my husband and I have been to twice as we travel to San Gabriel Valley from San Felipe Mexico. Their burgers are excellent and so are the fries. They have those slush puppy drinks, too. You can serve yourself chips and salsa as you wait for your order and there are many condiments to choose from, just help yourself. Comfortable place. Very friendly people work there, too. Highly recommended and glad we found it on Unilocal

tasty carne asada with pretty good rice and refried beans and free chips and salsa. the place feels like a museum about Brawley High School sports. operated by friendly people. clean comfortable environment in which to dine. open only for breakfast and lunch.

A disclaimer– my good friend is the brother of the owner. For years, he’d been telling me about how good the quality of the carne asada was at Hacienda Snack Bar. For years, I thought he was exaggerating. But, one day I had business in Brawley and stopped by… and the carne asada was the best I’d ever had in the Valley. I highly recommend it to anyone. and I think that’s most of us. who like good carne asada. The décor is not fancy, but parking is easy and the food is great.

First off, I would just like to say the owners of this place are some really amazing people! They went over the top for my family!
I only had burgers and fries and they were really good. I highly recommend trying out a bacon cheeseburger, especially the SmashBro Burger! Most burger joints give you a slice or two in your bacon cheese burger, but this place hooks it up with the bacon! I have never had a bacon cheeseburger quite like this one. Definitely will be coming back next time I’m in Brawley!

This place has good food and the owners and employees are extremely nice. Definitely one of the few mexican restaurants left that serve quality food. Only drawback is the hours they are open but the service and quality of their food make up for it.

This place has great food, but I think the main reason to go there is the owners. The Casteneda’s are remarkable people. They support the local high school sports as much as possible, showing the kids that being honest, good, business people is not only important, but a large part of being a good person. I think that this can be seen in how PACKED this place is daily. Yes, the food is great, but the town wants to support people who support the town in return. They have a pretty large menu, and also do great catering.
