Saddle Pals. This show was one that we chose particularly for its«dinner theater» settings. Although the food itself was good and served in large portions, the distribution of dinner took a good 30 – 45 minutes. Why they didn’t start the show while serving was a poor move.(We are guessing that the same guys playing music were cooking and serving — so they couldn’t start the show until they were done?) The music itself was fine, however, the comedy in between was cheesy and clearly written by a 4 year old with a fist full of Bazooka Joe comics. On the other hand. young children would be bored at this show. In between listening to about 90 minutes of straight country music and lackluster comedy(that started AFTER you have already eaten your food), we «woke up» to what we hoped was the end. As the«actors» hocked their CDs and DVDs — we realized that the show was going to continue. That’s when we took matters into our own hands. I gave a great tip to the waitress Cheyenne — as it was not her fault that the show was such a beating. Then I told her, «We’re making a run for it.» Cheyenne looked with horror in her eyes as if to say, «Please take me with you.» — but the journey was going to be a long one… and I sadly left her to endure the rest of the show alone. Sometimes I think of her. and wonder if she survived. In all seriousness… the music was good — but they should play while you eat so it wouldn’t go so long. Also — 90 minutes is long enough for a set. The food was good — but this was a «one-time» show for us.

The food was excellent, and I thought the show was fun and entertaining. I didn’t think this should was geared toward younger children, especially if they don’t have an appreciation for country music.

Just a great experience. Food, people, everything. They will get the whole family involved and if they can teach my 4 year old to spin a lasso, that is something. Grew up with country music blaring from my Grandma’s radio on the fridge. This definitely pulled at the heart strings. It was worth it just for the food. You always get that feeling people are in it for the money. I really feel these guys are in it because they live what they are doing. Can’t say enough good things about this experience
