The food was really bad. My son wouldn’t even eat the fajitas he ordered. Service was slow(not the waitresses fault, she tried real hard — it was the kitchen’s fault). Overpriced. Not a very upbeat environment like I thought it would be. Hardly any memorabilia. The videos were fun. I do not recommend.

If you like flavorless, bland, greasy food, this place is for you. The rest of you might want to steer clear of this place. Huge disappointment.

Just barely average. I could describe the not so fresh salad or the over breaded greasy chicken fingers but its not worth it. There are way too many better places to eat in Branson to waste your time.

The waitress was great! The kitchen and manager were the absolute worst possible. We were a party of 15, with a reservation. We were seated almost imediately. Very nice. It took 45 minutes for the 1st meal to arrive at the table. It was another 22 minutes before the last meal arrived. I called the manager to the table to alert him. He left to check on the last 4 meals of the order. He NEVERRETURNED to check on our orders. All but 1 order arrived a few minutes later. Another 7 minutes before the last order came to the table. The last 4 orders were NOT edible at all. The food was stone cold. The waitress took 1 of the meals off the bill. I called the manager back to the table to pay my $ 210 bill to him personally and voice my complaints. HECOULDNOTHAVECAREDLESS! He made NO effort to make things right and told me they were just busy. This was total BS! We will never return here and suggest you FINDSOMEWHEREELSETOEAT too. This review could have been different if our situation was handled properly by the lazy, poorly trained manager.

You would figure this place would be full of memorabilia but NO. A few photos and they play old music videos. The food is average at best but hot and fresh. The cheese steak sandwich was good but no amount of salt and pepper could help the fries. The onion rings were hot and fresh. The chicken Cesar Salad was filling and again average. The chicken was a bit dry. The hostess was not very enthusiastic but our server was attentive and polite. He did s good job. Prices are midrange plates running $ 11-$ 15. Diner foods.

Just okay food. Very, very slow food service! With not even many people in the restaurant. We had to wait a very long time for our food.

Went to try this place with a group of 8. Found out after looking at their very limited menu, that was way over priced, that the menu was even more limited due to them just opening for the season. Half of the stuff that was on the limited menu they didn’t even have yet. Why would they even open without all the menu being available? One of our friends wanted bread pudding, they didn’t have it. One wanted a banana shake and they didn’t have bananas. So 4 of us just ordered 3 appetizers off the app menu & the bill still was $ 56! I do not recommend this place for the bland & over priced food! Skip it. There are way better places to eat in Branson!

They had some cool older videos on the TVs but that was about the only saving grace. I ordered a wrap that had fried chicken tenders in it. It was fresh, but wasn’t very interesting, AND this was NOT on the kids menu. Wife got meat loaf which she didn’t eat because it was gross. This was also after we tried to put ketchup on it from our table. It was empty, the table behind us had an empty ketchup bottle too. The table across from us, empty, we found one that was ¼ full at the 4th table. It still didn’t make the meatloaf paletable to my wife. My daughter ate hers without any complaints. The prices were fine, but the food was just not worth it for us.

Saw the previous reviews so I had to try myself. The food is average fare, place was packed, but the server I had was working hard, did not do too bad. The other server near us was annoying but props that she was not ours. They have beer! So that made the food taste ok, caught a buzz. The. most interesting thing I heard was a server walk past another and said the milk was bad! As she was taking it from a near by table! Otherwise I had beer, food ok. So it accomplished what I set out to do. fill my belly and catch a beer buzz.

Good drinks and food. Your standard bar food. They are very friendly which is always a plus. Their drinks were fairly stout so you will get your money’s worth. Its one of the few good places in Branson.

Last night we saw Legends in Concert, and made the mistake of purchasing the Combo Offer, which includes«a $ 10 credit(per ticket) toward a great meal next door at the Dick Clark American Bandstand Grill.» It ended up costing $ 9.81 after tax, so you get exactly 19¢ in complimentary food. The performers plug the Grill at intermission, but also mention you get 10% off at Fuddrucker’s across the street, a much better deal. Post-show at the Grill, the bartender told us the kitchen«might be closed,» so I insisted on menus. When my gf asked about the soup, he said they were«probably out.» We ordered, and he spent the rest of our meal rushing us out the door while he closed up. We were both really uncomfortable. The food was mediocre. NOTWORTHIT!

This place was neat, but I didn’t think it was anything more than a Chili’s or Fridays with a musical theme. The food was exactly what I thought it would be, nothing more and nothing less.

I have been to better places then this. Our food tasted like it was frozen, It didn’t have a taste or texture. The hamburger tasted like rubber. This is Branson! Their is a fact better places then this. This place is a tourist trap because of its style an looks from outside. Their is nothing special about the food. Take the tour but do not order food here.

My wife took the boys to Branson for the shows and when they got back she insisted that I log into Unilocal and write a review of Dick Clarks. So here goes her rant: «I have been to roadside dinners better than this! The food tasted fresh from the freezer to the microwave to our table. The service adequate if lack luster. The décor was boring and could be found at a swap meet. If I could rate less than one I would, extremely disappointed. My chicken fried steak tasted like rubb

Stopped off here with my husband for a late-night dinner after a show nearby. I’m pretty sure we were the only twenty-somethings in the place, but I didn’t care – I love diners, I love older folks(which Branson is apparently full of!), and I SURE do love food! We had such a lovely meal. The service was so sweet(and quick!), and the pot roast and chicken fried steak were both comforting – just what we were looking for. Honestly, we weren’t really expecting much when we went in, and we were VERY pleasantly surprised! During our meal, we could hear some live music playing and couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. When we got up to leave, we realized that there was a club downstairs. We decided to head down and check it out, and I am so glad that we did. There is an awesome bar and stage – cute little cocktail lounge area – and Dean Z and the Gimps were playing some rockabilly music. I felt like I was transported to another place and time. We didn’t do any dancing, but I had such a great time sitting back sipping on a drink and watching some older folks get down! If you don’t have kids with you, definitely stop off here before leaving Dick Clark’s restaurant. What a wonderful combination… rockabilly and pot roast. Obviously, Dick Clark knows where it’s at!

Came to Branson on vacation with my family and for our friends birthday we took him to Dick Clark’s. As a vegetarian, there weren’t a lot of meatless selections, but the sweet lil’ waitress made me a wrap with grilled shrimp instead of chicken which turned out to be awesome. Everyone loved it. It was fun watching the old AB reruns, but sad to find out that Dick never got to make it to the theater or diner because of his stroke. Also sad to find out that despite the website, all of the cars at 57 had been auctioned off. Besides all that, we had a great time and she even brought our friend out a complimentary birthday desert. It is a fun little back to the 50s diner and the food is pretty good.

Let me justify my four star rating before I get into the details. For Branson, it deserves five stars. Where I live(Tulsa) I would give it four stars. That’s because so much of the food in Branson falls into the category of Nursing Home Food. I’m not saying that to be mean towards our elderly, but they do tend to like their food a little more bland than your average 30 – 60 year olds. Branson does lean a bit too much on Southern Style food. Lots of deep fried food, plenty of potatoes, and lots of gravy. Dick Clark’s has a good selection of burgers, sandwiches and more. It’s kind of a Hard Rock Café of the 50’s an 60’s. Now, having said that… I’m 42 years old. I’m a former DJ, so I do know the music and artist of this era. It’s sort of interesting to me. However, to my wife, who is 12 years younger than me… She doesn’t know the artist nor care. I’ve said this before about Branson… You better check yourselves. My Mom and Dad are now in their 70’s and are not going to Branson ever again. Not because they don’t want to, but they just can’t travel anymore. As I said, I’m 42, I have three kids and Branson is close enough for me to make it there about twice a year. The question is when are you(Branson) going to start to appeal to my demographic? I haven’t seen a show in ten years, because there is nothing I want to see. Shoji Tabuchi? Okay, I admit I stopped there once just to see the bathroom. My point is I might keep coming back for Silver Dollar City, but Branson isn’t giving me much more than that, shopping and a few good restaurants(and a break from home) as a reason to keep coming back. And no, the answer is not another hillbilly show. Back to Dick Clark’s… A good solid choice with good solid food.

Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Grill has great diner-style food. The restaurant is decorated with musical memorabilia from guests that were on American Bandstand. The TVs all play clips and music from the show. It’s a good time even for those of us too young to remember American Bandstand.
