Really really good BBQ and it has a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place. The prices are a little high, but it is well worth the cost!

When we told our friends and family that we were planning a trip to Branson over Thanksgiving, two different people from different circles told us we had to try Danna’s! So glad we did! The nachos were definitely a hit! We were too stuffed for dessert, but all of it looked amazing! Can’t wait to go back!

We love this place! Always make this one of our stops while in Branson! Our normal meals are the bbq nachos and the stuffed baked potato! The potato has butter, sour cream, cheese, beans, coleslaw and your choice of meat on it. I’ve had the pork and beef and both are great! And don’t forget the Memphis roll! We get one with our meal and one for dessert:). You get lots of food and if you leave hungry that’s your own fault. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere. You should put this on your list to try.

What can I say besides just an excellent BBQ place right by Branson. There is one actually in Branson and both are delicious. Great dining and atmosphere can busy during the summer but worth the trouble especially considering how fast they take your order and they get your food out to your table. Their sauce is out of this world! They have a couple choices of big platters you can call in to order and get to go. A+ restaurant!

First visit here and I’m totally impressed. I ordered the pulled pork dinner and love it. Meat was so tender you«fork» it, you have to «scoop» it. My son ordered the ribs, and they were ENORMOUS! Wow. Lots of seating with even patio options. Very open feel to the layout. A great place to dine in.

We recently stopped in on a Friday night with 10 people, including toddlers and kids. This is the absolutely perfect place for a great meal, without a wait. We were shocked at first at the ordering system, but it totally fits the ambiance. The catfish is amazing, as we anticipated. We also ordered a few of the giant spit baskets to share, and had plenty leftover. The kids meals came with oreos which was a nice ending touch. I wish that they had smaller kids sized cups with lids/straws, but not a big deal. Definitely worth checking out.

My family and I enjoyed the meals we had at Danna’s yesterday. I had the beef plate and I received smoked chopped brisket, seasoned French fries small cup of coleslaw and beans. All was very good and tasty. The whole family enjoyed their meals. The food came out fast and was hot. Highly recommend a stop to this restaurant. We will be back for sure. I don’t mind paying a little more for quality food and service. Which are trademarks for Danna’ BBQ and Burger shop. Although it’s a BBQ restaurant I think I might try their hamburger next go round. Don’t hesitate and give them a try, you will be glad you did.

Great find. We visited based on previous Unilocal reviews and we were not disappointed. The catfish and tenderloin are both fantastic.

We rode the ducks in Branson and got off the main strip and our driver suggested this place for great bbq. We went there after our ride and we’re not disappointed, this was our best meal of the trip! The ribs and sausage were awesome! Great portions and very tender meat. My daughter had pecan pie with ice cream and she said it was the best she’s ever had! We may stop again before we leave as we had some people meet us mid-week. Yummy!

Asked the guy who checked us out at the winery to suggest a casual eating spot and he suggested Danna’s. TIP: always ask locals for food suggestions. Anyway, excellent choice. We were almost scared off by the line, but the staff has this whole ordering and seating thing down to an art. We were probably the 15th to 20th people in line and maybe were seated and eating in 20 minutes from the time we walked in. I got a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and he got the big, big, pig. They were both fine. I mean, unless something goes horrendously wrong, in my opinion it’s hard to get bad bbq. But then we got the salted caramel pecan pie with vanilla custard and OMGEEE I’m totally going back just for that. Excellent. Mouth watering now. Other than that pie, the best part was the service. Most attentive staff ever, without being intrusive. This place appears to stay busy, but seriously they treat you like you’re the most important person there. You order in line and then they find you a table and bring your food to you. There are drink machines right in the dining room as well as trash receptacles just like a fast food restaurant, but the staff was constantly filling drinks and gathering extra plates off the tables. Its like full service wait staff at a fast food restaurant with pretty decent food. Prrice: pretty good Good: good bbq, excellent dessert Service: most excellent

We were staying near Indian Point and were looking for a great burger. We came to Danna’s at 5:00 on a Saturday and the line was out the door, but things moved along pretty quickly. We had our kids along, including one who will only eat chicken strips so we were very glad these were on the kids menu(and they were good, not nasty frozen chicken nuggets). We had the pulled pork and burgers, and everything was awesome! Tasty BBQ sauce and Memphis rolls as well. The desserts looked heavenly, but we were way too full. Next time, we are saving room to try one. We have had a lot of mediocre food in Branson, but Danna’s lives up to its reputation. We will be back!

I have been here a few times and as far as barbecue goes… it’s not bad. Now, mind you, I am a certified barbecue judge with the KCBS and I have judged over 100 competitions so I have had some great barbecue and some really cruddy barbecue. Having said that I NEVER expect competition quality barbecue at a restaurant. I have been here a few times and the food has never been bad… not great, but not bad. Service though, always friendly, always fast. So I brought our enormous family to our lodge and ordered enough food to take back to our lodge for 20 people. It was not a cheap bill but I gotta say… they gave us probably more than what we ordered which I appreciated and for that I give them props. The flavor though, that batch of barbecue, especially the ribs… was bland… very bland! AND it was undercooked and we had to shred the meat off the bones. The brisket was not bad, but a little dry and also a little bland. The pulled pork, VERY dry and again, bland. This is definitely a «sauce based» barbecue place because without the sauce, few would return. Very little time is spent with the rub it seemed because again everything was very bland without sauce. There should be flavor without sauce and there was very little and I prefer my barbecue without sauce but it was so dry it had to be used. I will be back but I am afraid it will be for the burgers as I have heard they are good there. I have been here before and the barbecue has been pretty good… this time though, very off night.

Such a good find. Went with kids on Friday night. Everyone was super friendly and food came out really fast. Very reasonable prices. I had one of their burger specials which was delicious. Wife had the catfish sandwich and really enjoyed. Seasoned fries are awesome with or without the spicy bbq sauce on the table. The kicker was that after we finished, one of the staff came over and said they had accidentally made too many of this dessert called an apple dumpling and was wondering if we(the kids) would like it. Not only was that super nice, omg was it tasty. Whole apple coated and fried served w their custard and toppings. We will be back while we are here visiting!

We went there after visiting some caves. It was delicious! The pulled pork plate was delicious and the portion was large. We added a hickory smoked sausage to the plate which was awesome. We had pecan pie for desert: heavenly!

I got the Fat Burger and it was indeed«fat». Burger was cooked well, and very tender — probably too ‘mushy’ for some more hardcore grill-loving people but it was good. The cheese was melted. The service was friendly. The atmosphere was probably the coolest part! It looks kind of like the Old West meets a Vintage Gas Station? I hope that makes sense. And, for the artist in me, there was art for sale all over the walls — gorgeous! The«Hot Sauce» was not quite hot enough for my liking — was hoping for spicier… but it had good flavor. All in all, a good place to grab some barbecue. We were staying on Tablerock Lake and didn’t want to deal with the traffic getting food in downtown Branson, yuck… This was a solid choice only a few miles from condo.

Everything I’ve tried here is great. I really like the pulled pork, but there are so many other good items as well. I don’t think I’ve seen any other review that raves about the Memphis rolls, but they are to die for — be sure to get a meal that comes with one, or add one to your meal. I could eat an entire plate of them. You order and pay at the counter, then seat yourself. Food is brought out to your table. The line can get long at times, but moves pretty quickly and I find the food service to be very quick, so don’t be dissuaded by a long line. Great food, friendly staff, and decent prices. This is our favorite place to eat in Branson West.

Food was great. I got the pulled pork sandwich and my wife got a cheeseburger. The pulled pork was good and the fries were excellent! If you get one of their specials(chicken dinner, ribs, ect) you get a ton of food! In the summer they also have outdoor seating. Simple menu where you can pick your food and take it to sit down(no servers). Small beer menu as well!

We came here for lunch and although very busy service was swift. BBQ plate beef or pork with 2 sides $ 7.15 which I found reasonable. Liked that they didn’t skimp on pork, cleaned well and not covered with sauce. Couple of sauces on the table to add yourself. I would come back. Old fashion horse and car to entertain kids so bring quarters.

I am originally from South Alabama which has terrific BBQ. I was reluctant to try BBQ in Missouri but after trying Danna’s Bar-B-Que & Burgers, I was hooked and sold that Missouri can make great BBQ. Not only was their BBQ great, but their burgers, onion rings, and the dessert were some of the best that I have ever eaten. The food was really delicious. They have two restaurants and we have since been to both of them several times. The food is consistently good and the staff was great. We eat more at the Branson West location but you cannot go wrong with either locations. My kids(teens) beg me to take them to Danna’s to eat their BBQ quesadillas. They really are great! I in no way get paid by Danna’s. My family and I just love their food. You can read the rest of my review and see a Danna’s VIDEO at: Blessings, Diane Roark
