I asked for Michael based on a previous Unilocal post. He did a great job on my pedi cure. Be sure to pick the pedi you want as there are 4 – 5 options & prices are not posted on the wall like most places. I picked basic at 25.00. At 9:30am the salon was very clean.

literally the best gel manicure I have ever received from Hao (aka Michael chair #8). being that I am from up north/​NYC and only down here in FL for the holidays, I can honestly say Hao’s process of a gel manicure is comparable to, or better than, the nail salons I frequent in the city. if you’re just stopping through or looking for a new salon to call yours, Valrico Nail Salon is the spot. Thanks for a phenom gel manicure Hao!

The customer service was great and the salon was clean however overpriced I paid $ 30 for a manicure that my daughter could have done better. No special massage nothing

Wonderful place! Cleanest nail salon I’ve ever seen, very nice staff, great service & good prices. Busy on the weekends so making an appointment is probably best.

Very clean, friendly staff, great location, I’ve never made an appointment always walked in, never had to wait very long.

When they first opened they did a great job but now not so much. There is one girl in there that literally did a manicure on me in just over 10 minutes and it showed, I refuse to go back to her. There is another younger guy who does a fantastic pedicure but he’s always busy and I don’t want to wait. Just stopped in there again last week for a mani and a different guy did an ok job but the Polish started to chip within 36 hours.

If I could give zero stars I would! WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE EVER!
I got a pedicure in which he never buffed my feet! He did, however, blow on my toes and massage my thighs which I have NEVER experienced during a pedicure.
My gel manicure was all over my cuticles and under my nails! I asked him to clean up the edges of my nails and he said it was messy because my nails are too short. I said «I don’t mean to be a pain, but there is polish on my skin and on every finger. This looks sloppy» He wouldn’t let me soak off the gel polish, he took it off by using the electric file. I even said THREE TIMES that I did not want him to file the polish off, but he said there is no other way to take it off. Afterwards my nails were paper thin and I still had gel polish stuck under my cuticles and on the sides of my fingers. I also still had to pay 30 $
I’d be very interested in seeing this man’s license/​certification to do nails, because I doubt he has one.
I went across the street to mimi’s to have my nails fixed and the woman working there said «WHAT DID THEY DO TO YOUR NAILS?!» My thoughts exactly.

I love this place. The staff is friendly and you never have to wait too long. I come here for my pedicures and they are the first ones that don’t chop my toenails down to a pulp. Prices are reasonable also!
